There's also the moral angle to take into consideration.
By boycotting Slovenia and refusing to hand over your tourist money you're contributing to sending an important message: fighting a war of independence against and seceding from their Yugoslav brothers was the wrong choice. There is no path towards prosperity except through Socialism.

Ljubljana is a quaint little central european / habsburg style city. It is worth visiting.

It is really nice, but not really adrenaline filled. The Metelkova area is fun if you're into street art. Also four days may be a little too much for just the city.
Slovenia does offer a lot for the traveler though. It's like a better and much cheaper Switzerland. You can visit the caves in Postojna and the Predjama castle. Or lake Bled as another anon mentioned. You can also go hike in the Triglav national park or in the Prekmurje hills. Or visit Piran by the seaside. Hell you could even go to Trieste as a day trip. Slovenia is such a small country and Ljubljana is in the middle of it, so you can easily drive around and do one or two day trips each day. The roads and highways are pretty much perfect.
