Name the country
>>2906982outside of the Indians and new construction smells, the third world sounds great
>>2906982Malaysia, specifically Georgetown
>>2906984Here now, can confirm. I'm in KL though. How does Georgetown compare?
>>2907003It's good, I like it more than KL(fuck that shithole). More chinese though, lots of old white boomers who can be annoying, only do the beaches on the west side of the island. Lot's of the "rich" are moving there to escape the hell of KL's slog, chinese are moving there to escape Xi's direct control for the surrogate state the ML is becoming. Penang, mainland stuff is okay too way more Chinese style places. It feels more open to western stuff that you would normally expect, bars, clubs, people opening up to meeting/talking more than "Do like malaysia sirs? Why not love it? please look at dish? like right? yes social media sirs?"I fucked up and did a month in KL, holy shit what a fucking mistake. You can see everything in 1-2 weeks. Georgetown is nicer by far where I should have ducked into for my stay, such a giant fuck up not to. Always have an umbrella there this time of year, those storms coming off the ocean can pop up in like 15 minutes from a small cloud and then be 50mph winds, tons of lightning, torrents of rain, and then ruin your day.
>>2907004Does Georgetown have less indians? They are probably my biggest issue with KL.>Have a room booked in huge apartment building with a nice pool and a view, but at any given moment the pool is most likely 25% brown person urine so I won't go in it>At the apartment gym this week. As soon as I walk in, an indian stares at me while smiling, trying to lock eye contact. Rakeesh and Panjeet are filming themselves curling 5kg dumbbells. I immediately grab the 25kg dumbbells for a bench press (below my normal warm-up, but 25kg dumbbells were the heaviest weights in the gym). They are still staring at me. After I finish my second set, one of them comes over to me and asks to take a picture with me, and I politely refuse. The only thing I can figure is that these guys were trying to gain izzat somehow, perhaps they'd never encountered a white person before in India. Either way, I'd rather be around E Asians or Malay
>>2907074Yeah Georgetown basically is rich people town, the indians live across the water in Penang and even then it's well inland.

>>2907081NTA but I've seen it in Anytime Fitness in KL they do some really dumb shit if you go mid day. Really the bigger issue in Malay isn't the weird staring shit it's the fact they don't wipe down their fucking equipment after use. That and they have to record themselves lifting a 7kg weight 5 times and sitting down on the bench for 15 minutes on their phones.
>>2907081>fuuuucccck u madarchod bloody!!!!+10 izzatNot sure why this story seems so far-fetched to you. Most gyms in the condos here only have dumbbells that max out at 25kg and a few machines and treadmills. They could have been pakistani or bangladeshi I guess, I can't tell the difference. All south asians look the same to me.
>>2906982isnt this very specifically Thailand?
>>2907102Not after Thailand completely fucked the indian work force with their visa revisions this June.
>>2907102It's an amalgamate of a few countries. There's no indian slave class in TH, it's characteristic to Malaysia/Singapore
>>2906984>georgetown>not north of the islandnormie retard spotted
>>2907118dude penang is not a real traveller flexthe north coast of the island is a tourist hotspot
Are there a lot of pale skin chinese qts in penang? I'm thinking about settling down there. I only visited KL last time I was in Malaysia and the dating apps(tinder, bumble) were a ghost town and mostly muslims, but I recently heard they use coffee meets bagel more.
