>want to visit East Asia for a vacation
>live on East Coast of US
>flights are typically around $2,000 and 22 hours minimum

Just raw dog it nigger, also getting a longer layover helps too. Use that layover to sleep at a transit hotel.

keep an eye on flights. shit will drop randomly when you least expect it. You my also want to book some cheapo domestic flight to Seattle or something and then fly from there.
>>
>>2907351
>Google search NYC to Seoul
>16 hrs itinerary starting at $843, nonstop EWR to ICN with Air Premia
roundtrip for a flight two weeks out
>even United nonstop starts at $1043
>"prices are currently low"

Anon is flying out of a main airport, you probably aren't. It's like my friends who try to do the closest airport rather than the biggest with international flights in mind. Like yeah no shit flying out of Charleston SC is going to cost more money to get to Asia than DCA or NYC

I go to Newark. Flights from there to Asia are 2K round trip, at least in Summer and December when I'm more likely to go

Okay take the train over to JFK and watch shit drop
>>

Just play with Google Flights, change dates and airports a few dozen times and jot down what you see. Flight prices for some markets are cheaper last minute than 2+ months out, especially if many seats remain empty as the flight date approaches.
>>

Yeah duh, don't fly during peak goycattle PTO vacation times if you want bargains. They always book thrir trips months in advance, so if anything you pay extra booking 3 months out.
