Nicer than you imagine. Big families living in big, somewhat crowded houses they fully own and renovate themselves. Nice nature. Not much money beyond that, but people get by. There are dying villages with nothing but old people, but generally, people are upbeat and more optimistic than Westerners. Now Belgrade, thats a shithole for the most Part.
