+ you have to follow the schedule, you can't really change route.
Especially with a group of friends. It's already hard to chose ONE destination, but a road trip is like chosing everyday and having to debate about it.

The whore i did a road trip with always wanted to see "one more thing". So we ended up wasting 2 hours to see some moutain staying 15 mn, then going back to our path. Everyday.
Also beware, women have ZERO spatial intelligence. They just see some photo of something in the same state, they think you can teleport and be on time for your next hotel.
They also have zero acountability or problem solving skills (that happen a lot on road trip).

Doing it with guys might be better on some things but worse in the whole group dynamic.

There is always parking, what's a 1 km walk. Drive slower and have your copilot study the map so you don't pass things by. Instagram hoes wanting to check off places they've seen on social media with their photographer simps are the worst. Pick a route and then find places of interest along it. You can even do this as you go along, because Europe has so many roads going every which way.
