Schloss Laxenburg is a short trip outside Vienna and while it isn't a town, it's a beautiful place to visit in Autumn.All the capital cities minus Linz and Sankt Polten are worth a visit but if you're getting a Klimaticket you might as well just hit those 2 up as well to kill time.Steiermark will have the most "sleepy autumn towns" and they're big on their pumpkins and shit like that so if you're an amerimutt you might feel at home there.Best Christmas Markets are in Bregenz; they're small but that means that they're cheap and the town is a nice weekend getaway (plus if you haven't been, you can get the bus to Liechtenstein for a day). Catch a Krampuslauf in a big city like Salzburg or Innsbruck to see the festival/fun side of it; and then go to a small town like Imst to get a more authentic experience (fingers crossed one of them beats the shit out of you for being a fucking bitch).Tirol is mostly boring unless you're hiking or doing winter sports and going to apreskis with trust fund babies.

I've been solo travelling since last year, I did Germany and Prague.Earlier year I did Japan and a little bit of Melbourne.I bought tickets to Vienna for 2wks in November. I'm thinking of doing 5 days in Vienna, 4 in Budapest but I'm not sure what to do with the remaining 4 days.any suggestions?
