First you need a passport. Do you have one? Then you need to check entrance requirements for the countries you want to travel to.

I just bought a roundtrip to Costa Rica for $310. Three weeks. It's a safe country if you're poor; richfags are always getting their shit stolen there. Shortly afterwards I have an ultra-cheap one way flight to Peru, which is where I will start my six month South America trip. Gotta buy a last minute refundable ticket to get into Peru, then cancel after arrival...very common requirement to enter countries.
