So my heavy camera is staying at home.Am an Arma 3 fan, so I was thinking Lemnos and its southern Island. Thessaloniki as a starting place. Have been to Greece before (Lamia and its coastal villages). So Greece and its abysmal public transport isnt new to me. Will be there for 14 days and need the weather to be consistently 24-28°C. Possibly at the end of my trip, may enter Southern Albania then go home.So can you guys advise me some towns, villages, cities which would best suit me?

End of September and start of October is an awesome time to go since the weather will be great wherever you go.While I haven't personally been to Lemnos, I do know people who have. I think it is a great idea if you just want to chill out. Also consider Lesvos because the food is great and its a bigger island with more diversity (especially if you have a car and can drive around), These islands are great because they aren't super touristy.Wouldn't really reccomend Epirus especially because you want to eat seafood and relax.Maybe stay a few nights in Thessaloniki and then the rest in an island like Lemnos or Lesvos. There are great ψαροταβέρνες in Thessaloniki like ψαροταβέρνα 'Ηλίας',. Do a bit of research, some of these places don't even have fixed menu's because whatever is cooked is whatever is fresh in season and available. With fish, always ask what fresh fish they have for the specifc day you are there. There is a really good small ψαροταβέρνα like this in Νεοι επιβάτες called καπετάν φουρτούρνας. Bit far from central Thessaloniki though. Also maybe consider the Peloponnese (particularly Messinia, Kalamata) and Kephalonia. Try and find out of the way places to eat, they will always be cheaper than spots in the centre which are tourist traps. That's basically all I can say. Have fun.

There have been many Turks that have started travelling to Greece rather than domestically solely for this reason. I imagine Albania is still cheaper especially in villages and out of the way places. I haven't been so I don't know.
