I recommend going to Bayern specifically and ordering local beer at the beergarten. Deutschland is very camping friendly so if you're into that and hiking a trip to the mountains is ideal.
The Schwarwald region in neighboring Baden-Wütemberg is great for this, as well as being famous for its delicious chocolate and their cuckoo clocks that you can get as a souvenir (it's a common misconception that they're from Switzerland).
