My bro and I might be able to travel for a week. El Salvador seems like a nice country since it's a short(ish) flight for both of us and it's a compact enough country you can see a lot of it in a week.BTW no we won't be surfers. My brother is a shark attack survivor so he hasn't surfed in over 3 years. I think the gist is Santa Ana + ruta Flores + some nature stuff along the way? Any more detailed recommendations?I imagine San Salvador itself is nothing special like most Central American capitals.
I forgot to mention I'm South Asian btw. Not sure if that matters. People say I look Spanish.

Prices better than the latter but not the former.If I wasn't going to surf I'd consider Guatemala if your Spanish is at least basic. It seems cheaper, with Antigua and volcanoes and some archaeological sites I think.
