What's some travel tech that's drastically changed your travel life for the better?Picrel for me, USB-C powered monitor. Makes rainy or shitty days with nothing to do far more bearable when in a hotel compared to just the laptop screen.6 inch USB desk fan has made mid tier Airbnb's or Hotels insanely better.Smartwatch/Fit band, has helped me maintain my sleep schedule far better than before where I'd end up pissing time away. Also helps explain if and why I would feel drowsy by double checking my sleep.
I've contemplated getting a smartwatch myself. Not for the purposes you've mentioned, but to serve a travel-specific purpose.I imagine it would be easier to tap a watch to open an electronic gate than to fish out your phone, card, or a physical ticket. I use public transport and shop at convenience stores a lot more often when I'm traveling, so doing it this way might be faster. How do you like your watch for that, OP?

>>2911715Depends, I don't want to spend 300-400 dollars for an apple watch just to save the 2-3 swipes where I have my phone out already for. Best use for my smartband that was 50 bucks, is checking my phone for emails, finding my phone if I misplaced it in an airbnb, not grabbing out my phone for basic messages, sleep tracking, time to go the fuck to sleep reminders.
