What are the pros and cons of living in Australia?

pro:>wages are good>weather is usually quite nice>national parks and wildlife are excellentcons:>no culture, feels very shallow culturally, if you're from europe you will struggle with this once the initial charm wears off, it will drive you mad eventually, it's like living in McCorporate America Goyslop Land but somehow with even less culture than that>aussies are very superficial people>australian cities suck compared to europe. they have relatively small centres made up of boring modern office blocks and outside that it's all just endless copy/paste suburbia. don't believe anyone who tells you melbourne or sydney compare to london/paris/berlin/nyc, they aren't even in the same ballpark. sydney is pretty though and you can surf there so they have that going for them>major crackhead problem in most urban areas>supermarket food is poorer quality than europe and they only have 2 supermarkets so the variety is also poor and they're expensive as fuck>aussies make a lot of noise in the cinemathis one could be a pro or a con depending on where you're from>aussies are very racist

In my experience both have severe tall poppy syndrome where you get harassed if you're different than the crowd and there is a small-town mindset throughout most of the nation where maintaining the status quo is the average person's main focus.
