any other usual shut-ins experience extreme levels of time dilation when they travel? it seems like i've lived a lifetime in 2-3 weeks and when i'm at home, months fly by like nothing. one of my favorite things about travelling.
>>2912378This is a commonly studied phenomenon. When you do new experiences, time slows down, compared to when you do the same thing every day. You have more things to fill your memories with when recalling the day. It's why childhood also seems to last longer.
>break mundane shit>actually live life>wow it feels good>is this time dilation LOL?This is how stupid you sound
>>2912390you just know this nigga has never experienced extreme time dilation
>>2912392You won't if you have an active social life, duh.
>>2912393so you've already raped your dopamine receptors because of your need to be constantly around people. got it.
>>2912395No? I just adjust to the surroundings much easier as it's not a big change to me. There is still plenty of things that can trigger enjoyment like simply being in a new place, culture, and so on. wtf are you on about lol
>>2912392100% sure OP has dilated at least a bit
>>2912378Time crawls when I'm trapped somewhere by obligations. Traveling makes the days and weeks seem to go by faster. Entire days disappear, it's already 5 pm and all I did was go on a little daytrip.

>>2912378>2-3 weeksthats not travel time dilation, thats you out of the cage time dilation
>>2912378Yes. I think it's about novelty and more stimuli, especially social stimuli, than you're accustomed to.You get into a routine, time starts to fly.
