I am looking for an escape from the hussle and bussle and all the noise and rat race shit going on.My mind is so fried that it cannot tolerate noises and bright lights(and no I am not going to go to some "doctor"I am pretty well traveled but nowadays get bothered by the cities and traffic and people.And am wondering about finding this peace at a resort but imagine some of the other guests are normie retards and might be annoying , thats why finding an isolated town with a comfy hotel and restaurant seems ideal Gimme your advice on finding these nice small towns and which country it would be easiest to find.Maybe van life in the usa is an option but sounds gayAnd I should just probably move to a smaller mountain town out west or something , away from a metro rat race areaTL;DROP cannot stand modern life and needs a place to chill

Ridiculously chill.Northern British Columbia during the summer months is also a good bet if you have camping gear.Champasak and 10 000 Islands in Laos. Just outside of Paakse. Pretty slow and very laid back.The smaller towns along the Rhein/Mosel in Germany are also pretty great. Outside of the tourist crush in the fall it is pretty sleepy and you can rent a bike and go everywhere.

Honestly any unknown island in a northern country will be peaceful. It's extremely peaceful on Tsushima, there's only ferries to get there and back once a day and most don't stay the night, the population is small, there's not much to do besides nature. I rented a bike and saw the beach, woods, and a quiet shrine in the woods that was empty with some fox statues. Imagine islands that aren't even traveled to like this one.

If you really want to be left alone, not only are those places isolated, the people there actually understand what wanting to be alone means and aren't gonna be nosy and fuck with you. But they also aren't completely unreachable, you'll have stores and a few restaurants within an hour's drive or so.
