Better take a bus over and get well outside the border city before walking, doing it on foot is going to get you turned around and sent back home.

Also that path might not actually be walkable.

I was on 87 the other day and saw a fuckton of buses. I wonder where they all go.

Forgot to mention, I'm Indian saar, if that matters

You're gonna be hiking 24 hours a day for those 7 days? I can't even drive for more than 8 hours a day, let alone hike.

a 1000km traversal will take you about a month and a half if you do like 30 miles a day

Realistically you should reserve the full 3 months for this. And you should hitchhike when you get the chance. I did about 1000km in Japan once, in the summer, with a lot of hitchhiking. Japan is way easier because there's convenience stores every half mile or so

America isn't that big, that would be like the distance from paris to london anon. Americans seriously think their country is bigger than it is.

America is that big. Florida alone is bigger than the UK. The mercator projection distorts the sizes of land close to the equator, making it look smaller than it really is. and then when you factor in that the northern part of the US is parallel with southern europe, and the south is parallel with africa, america is much bigger than it looks
