I was just in Kaohsiung for 3 months. I lived in the city part and even though I thought it was OK I ultimately decided I won't be coming back to it. I will leave behind my harem of hags and try my luck in Taoyuan or Taipei next time I'm in Taiwan. Kaohsiung has unbeatable prices on rent but ultimately it's cheap for a reason: too many elderly living there, so no one wants to live there.
