How bad are things in Paris?I want to visit in December but the "protests" are offputting.I know public disorder in France is like a sport but...Also inb4 "Paris is full of Africans". I already know this. I have been before. I am specifically asking regarding the current situation.
Europe is a big place. Why would you got to Paris again? Have you been to Madrid? That's where I would go. Take the high speed train down to Cordoba and Seville. Better weather, hotter women, better food, prettier cities, less crime, nicer people.

I want to buy a last minute ticket to Paris to visit with kids, usually things are cheap/without big queues after riots/terrorist attacks because people more scared than is realisticI already went a few times like this. But all before I had kids so I don't know nowHow is it now. What parts of city are safe, is it safe to go see Eiffel Tower and all the other Paris center tourist traps, is Disneyland safe (3 and 5 year old daughters love Elsa), is anything significantly cheaper?
