Why is it that even in countries with low English-literacy, who don't even use the Latin alphabet, they can't help but plaster English literally everywhere?

it's not even a good place for the people who speak Korean, what makes you think it'll be good for you?

have you been able to sex some korean girls?

Yeah, it's fine. Just have google translate handy on your phone. Some younger Koreans might be able to speak some broken English also. Anyways, enjoy, Korea is kind of ass compared to Japan tho.

Seconding this. It's been 10 years or so, but whenever I'd get lost in either Seoul or Busan a random Korean would appear and ask me in English if I needed help. So that ruled.
I barely spoke Korean. Did learn a few phrases like water, beer, please, over here (to summon a waiter), thank you etc.
Also learned to read hangul which actually wasn't that hard.
Had some local friends help me to navigate Korean bbq.
Just be prepared to be pushed by aunties/ajummas in or around train stations. See copious amounts of spit as teens slav squat and smoke.
Got norovirus from eating at a Lotteria that made me puke more than I ever have in my life.
Had to carry wet-whipes or toilet paper with me everywhere. Honestly, it's kind of a weird country to be tourist in. But I'm sure you have your reasons for going.

technically south korean people call their language 한국어 (hangook-eo) and norks call theirs 조선어 (choseun-eo) so its only in english we call both languages korean
