>Huh oh what's that? You need to pass me? too bad I have a luggage bag as I am inacapable of actually packing for holiday! Don't mind me just making loud noise whilst I stroll slowly along and the #1 reason air travel is becoming expensive. Why yes my holiday is only 2 weeks that's really good for me! Had to suck my bosses dick for it. I need all this luggage and will walk at a slow 5km/h pace whilst you are held up.

What is wrong with these "people", you only need 4 pair of clothes, macbook, and outlet adapter. What more could you possibly ever need? Some condoms? Maybe a towel if you're out cheap with the lads to Bali in one of those crummy aussie asshole filled hostels

>Being in such a rush that you let yourself get het about somebody walking slowly with their luggage in an airport.
I know those 5 seconds of delay might seem important if you're just a tourist but real travellers know the importance of living in the moment. Chill out, dude. Take your time. Be present. There's no need to be in such a rush all the time. Maybe try skipping the package tours and going on a real journey.

The fucking "backpackers" are the worst. They aren't hiking but walk around in hiking gear and a huge cucking hiking sack full of not hiking gear but just shit they could have put in a suitcase or small backpack. They never have any awareness of it either and take up so much fucking space. They are roleplay adventurers who visit cities and get lost. Fuck them all.

True nightmare walking in German cities you imported 20 million trashbag wearing or half naked Africans and Turks to shuffle around in random directions at 1 km per hour
>>
>>2915861
Why do Germans specifically do this? Every time you go to a station there, you see countless early 20s girls looking like Snail carrying fucking comically large backpacks, its stupid. What function does all that shit serve? You don't need an inventory to travel the fucking Ruhr. You just know they're gonna get fleeced when they try to pass a gate at an airport.
>>
OP isn't completely out of line, but the thread is unnecessary.

1) No one is gonna disagree that annoying people suck.

2) I already seethe when I experience this at the airport, I refuse to do it here for free.

I arrived at a hostel at 1430, room wasnt ready so I asked if they have luggage storage. The luggage storage area is paid lockers so I leave my stuff on top of the lockers because I don’t need to lock my things. As I leave staff runs up to me “sorry this is not possible”. OK, maybe its a fire code or something so I take my stuff and put it next to a couch in the lobby. I return 40 minutes later and my stuff is gone. I check-in and ask for my stuff back. They tell me I was told twice not to do that (?). They charge me $7 for 6 hours of locker usage, saying they are being nice by not charging me for 24hrs. They didnt charge me with their locker reservation system so I don’t actually have the locker I was forced to pay for. So I just leave my luggage in the middle of the lobby for a few more hours.
Same place was deeply confused when I tried to extend, they required people to checkout at 11 and check back in to a new room at 15. Of course they want you to pay for a locker during that time.
Nice place though, all these rules are designed to keep out the dirty backpackers like me lol, but not very hospitable.

The worst is when you have traveled a long time and finally check in and get a bed, only to find that they expect YOU to make the bed. So later when I’m trying to sleep someone who just arrived has to make a bunch of noise. Then they put signs up “50€ fine for not using a sheet”. Maybe a better system would be to pay a person to make all the beds, that person would know how to do it efficiently and would do it in the day time.

One hostel I went to had a system where you had to strip your bed when you leave, then they had no way of enforcing this or any cleaning staff. So I check in and they point at the clean linens and tell me to choose an empty in my room… but they all seem occupied because nobody cleaned the room? This place was €40 in a c-teir town in offseason.
The same hostel had a coin operated induction cooker. €1 for 15mins. Also there was no electricity in the bed and terrible wifi in the room. Also the recpetion was “decorated” with foreign currencies which was probably really cool in the 80s.

Some hostels require a deposit for the key card. These rfid cards cost $1 each and are used several times before they are lost, but they require every person to deposit $10. Sometimes the deposit MUST be in cash… I don’t have krone lady every place in this country takes contactless. One hostel had a sign “don’t worry, if you forget to collect your deposit we donate it to charity”. Why don’t you just eat the cost of the cards and not pass it on to guests? At 99% of places I dump the card in a box and walk out, but at this place I have to stand in line for my cash like Oliver Twist. It’s just greedy business owners who can’t comprehend that nickle and diming your guests feels bad for literally miniscule benefit
