without some obnoxious snorer buzzing and blubbing away in his sleep keeping everyone else awake?
Because you are poor, buy into a low-quality product on purpose (and deserve the low-quality product), and you get exactly what you pay for
capsules hotels are basically hostels but you don't hear anything
>snorer>party people coming back late and drunk>5am group starts packing their suitcases with a million plastic bags>everything in the kitchen is sticky>bathroom always full, or dirty, or the door doesn't lock>bunk above always going up and down shaking the whole bed>someone goes out leaves lights on and door open >some people never stfu>speaker phone call in the room>too hot or too cold I had peace only in a private room, a dorm completely empty, or a hotel. Never fucking again. I hate people so much.
>>2915771I worked hard for a few years so I never have to be around poors unless they are servicing me
>>2915771I barely see them these days, they're hilarious though. I remember one Romanian girl woke the whole dorm up screaming at this snoring slob above her, saying that she was having a mental breakdown whilst this guy's 'ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ'ing in her path. Ironically I'm immune to snoozers, presumably due to the snore occupying a lower frequency band than most potential wakeys.
>>2915771Hostels are a great experience and better than a Hotel only if your bunkmates are disciplined and nondrunkard civilized people
Have you tried making more money?
Who are the best people to share your hostel with and why is it boomer white women? They were just so motherly and affectionate
>>2915771I will unironically never use a hostel ever fucking again. I'd rather pay 3x times more to have a shitty private room than stay in a "nice" hostel. Genuinely a horrid fucking experience.
I hardly remember my dorms when I reminice, and I get over any inconviniences once I’m settled in. Annoying hostel things account for maybe 20 minutes of a trip total, but my bank certainly remembers the money I saved
>>2915771I recently discovered I snore and I've always hated it. Is there a mask strap or something that can keep my mouth closed while I sleep?
If you're in your 20's, can't you fund 2-3 friends to travel with you and split a hotel room? If it were me, I'd walk down to the hostel, grab two chicks and say, "this place is a dump. you guys want to split a hotel?"
>>2915771Because hostels are for 12 year old's on class trips with their teacher, or 14 year old's on their first solo trip across europe with the lads and not grown up men.
>>2916083A hotel room is just a little box with a hallway. My $12 hostel here in Costa Rica has 2500 square feet of lovely common areas. Yes, go out every day on an excursion, but long term travelers are not gonna be out 14 hours a day. Rest and relaxation is as important as exploration when you have months of travel to look forward to, and hiding alone in your little room to sit on the cuck chair or rot in bed is just lame.
>>2916216Lazy poorfag cope
>>2915887Yeah, it's all forgotten the next day, but I literally made this thread at 3 AM unable to get back to sleep because some pudgy manlet was gargling nuts in his sleep.
>>2916305This goodest of goyslaves can only brag about his financial privilege, because he is a timid little snot whose entire self worth is based on how well he serves the world system. >you're a worthless nigger!! you don't serve massa like I do!Oh really now? You don't say?
>>2916150You're talking about a youth hostel.
>>2916447The goodest of goyslaves can only brag about his poverty, because he is a timid little snot whose entire self worth is based on how well he serves the world system.>you're miserable you don't serve massa like I do! I'm cooped up 10 to a box in this tiny cage with loud smelly retards. That saves massa lots of money and keeps me tired and confusedOh really now? You don't say?
>>2916443Learn your lesson from this, and make sure to bring earplugs next time.
>>2916453Bitch I'm adventuring in every corner of the world. I choose every day where I want to sleep. No landlord gets to make that decision for me. Unlike me, you can't speak out against the ones with power, the ones who control the parameters of your life. They have you cowed, whipped and cringing for that steady stream of goybucks. Like an Indian shift manager you only unleash your frustrations on people you think are beneath you, but by doing so you reveal yourself for the pathetic, cowardly worm you are. If you got doxxed and your 4chan posts were sent to your company's HR, you would be fouling yourself in fear and begging for forgiveness.
>>2916462I'm sure you're out there living the dream!
>>2916462>. I choose every day where I want to sleep. No landlord gets to make that decision for me.99% of landlords exclude you by charging $20 or more. You choose amongst the dregs of lodgings>sent to your company's HR, you would be fouling yourself in fear and begging for forgiveness.Lmao you think everyone is either a dumpster dweller like yourself or a wagie. What a tiny little prison you entrapped yourself in
>>2916083>I'd walk down to the hostel, grab two chicks and say, "this place is a dump. you guys want to split a hotel?"And the answer, 100 percent of the time, would be unequivocally, "no". Creep.
>>2916475Poland, Lithuania, Taiwan, Costa Rica, USA, Malaysia, even India - I've spent more than $20 per night whenever it was necessary to stay where I wanted to stay as a single celibate. Men splurge on luxury rooms because they seek the approval of women. I refuse to have my spending governed by female expectations.
As a solo traveler, I genuinely cannot fathom staying anywhere else but a hostel. I simply cannot justify paying $1000+ for a week of hotels when I could just pay $300-400 for some hostels. As a tourist, I'm not spending much time at my accommodation anyway like Nomadcucks. Plus, what do I care if it's rowdy and noisy, I* want to be part of that. Partying and getting drunk is a privilege I get to partake in a few times a year, I'll enjoy it. Not to mention, I actually have a chance of meeting someone at a hotel. The ONE thing that I can't stand is the public showers, but fortunately many hostels have en-suite showers so I can just book those.
>>2916548>As a solo traveler, I genuinely cannot fathom staying anywhere else but a hostel.Because you are poor.
>>2916554This, no one with $10,000 a month or even a poor with $5000 a month to spend on travel would stay in a dorm with smelly snoring brokies
>>2916545>Men splurge on luxury rooms because they seek the approval of women. >I refuse to have my spending governed by female expectations.Fascinating
Hostal hate thread?>people with rolling bags who still do hostal>tech bro (always a yank) who says they make over 6 figures yet stays in hostal>plastic bags at 9AM>alarms going off before 10>that one yank who shows up and drinks in the commons room during the day(2PM) instead of being a normal person and going to a pub or park>austrialians show up when they should be in their containment city of bali>mixed dorm company gets mad about nothing whilst changing after a shower>room is above 20 because they say they want to save energy, worse is if you turn down to something reasonable like 10 on the thermometer they get mad>no drinking in the commons area after midnight (usually due to mutts)>check out at 10 instead of something reasonable like 11 or 12>commons room has nothing but american "music" all stations are local/no international channelsI miss the pre covid days or maybe I am just spoiled by how accommodating hostal life is back home when taking a short holiday, get a room for a tenner that comes with breakfast and a beer, peaceful lovely people, and so on...
