Which is the most perfect area in south America? As you get older you realise going to boiling hot places isn't as fun as it's made out to be. Where isn't hot, not rainy, has good food, decent history and culture, has natural sights?Does it exist?
>>2916550Medellin
>>2916558Colombia? You must be having a laugh
New Mexico
>>2916550As you get older you don't want to be around brown stone age midgets, garbage and shit infrastructure south America loses its allure
>>2916564Kek but in this case I do, as I've never even been on the continent of south America. The fact we still have cavemen alive today blows my mind. People are only nonchalant because it's easy to meet one but when they die out there will be a million YouTube "documentaries" about them and kids see them like mythical and mystic creatures they just missed out on>>2916563Thanks for the suggestion but it doesn't seem appealing for my mind of trip
>>2916567New Mexico is>not boiling hot>not rainy>has amazing food>decent history of natives and spanairds>tons of sightsOr by "culture" do you mean uhh the whores are cheap.
>>2916569No, sorry I just see Columbia and Mexico as tacky places. Also just a mix of everyone and not cultural at all. Even though you prove me wrong in your comment
>>2916550not many options that fit your criteriaflorianopolis - not too hot, fairly rainy, culture's OK (compared to everywhere else in Brazil except the southern 3 states, they aren't as warm and friendly but it's safe and developed)mendoza - good climate, not rainy, great food and obv wine, right next to the Andes. but it takes a while to get to and might be expensive nowadayscusco checks your boxes too, it's not too rainy and lots of history and indigenous culture. similar to Sucre and La Paz in Bolivia but the food isn't nearly as good (much cheaper though)bogota might be a good one for you too, idk\central chile has mediterranean climate but history/culture is meh, also expensive and not that safeavoiding hot & rainy places in south america limits you a lot. i think larping as a gaucho in southern chile (especially Aysen) would be good fun but it's rainy and cool to very cold year round. that's where i'd want to be in case of a nuclear war, at least
>>2916567>when they die outDude it's the humans that are dying out
>similar to Sucre and La Paz in BoliviaSo why did you skip over Bolivia? That a place that's always intrigued me

>>2916550I was gonna go to Ecuador or Colombia this winter, but i joined some expat Facebook communities and called a few travel agents to gather intel.Apparently if you leave the cities in these countries to go hiking in the woods, or just go outside at night, there’s like an over 50% chance you get robbed, kidnapped, ransomed. So they’re like “you gotta hire a cartel member for tourism protection and guidance” And then they have the balls to say “we are SUPER SAFE! Just don’t go out at night and don’t wander off into the wilderness or neighborhoods that are not downtown”Like… oh that is super safe, yeah I visited Argentina and Uruguay which were clean and safe, but they just felt like Italy or Spain, but waaay further of a flight and not much cheaper, with worse beaches.Brazil has a few very scenic beach towns that are safe, affordable and tropical such as Itacare, but they are far from cities. And again the plane tickets are so expensive and far away, to deal with such a dog shit third world country infrastructure, bad food, dangerous and unpredictable…So I think I’m just gonna go back to AsiaAsia is easy, affordable, modern, minimal bullshit, safe, etc.If you want a chaotic adventure, go enjoy South America. But if you’ve traveled to enough shitty places and you don’t want to do it anymore, I’d avoid the entire continent.
>>2916626That's insane, and infuriating too. We need to go and just wipe these people out. Slaughter them like animals. I used to think this until I saw Bald go to Venezuela which is supposed to be the worst, and go deep into neighbourhoods, so recently I started thinking it was all exaggerated. From what you're telling me most of these places are bad
>>2916626>I visited Argentina and Uruguay which were clean and safe,>but they just felt like Italy or Spain, butNone of those countries are clean or safe
>>2916630They are if you compare them to the rest of South America.
>>2916627Yeah, Montanita Ecuador is very nice looking hippy beach surf town, but to get to it , you have to land in shit hole Guayaquil and take a gamble for a bus or uber or taxi or car rental and not get robbed on the road to Montanita. What’s ridiculous is it’s extremely Catholic… you’d think people with Jesus would treat people a bit better.Fucking taco niggers don’t have any respect for their fellow man.
>>2916627Not to mention, some of my most enjoyable and memorable moments in Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore have been at NIGHTTIME , stargazing on the beach, wandering bars and shops, leaving the cities out to the nature and exploring the countryside without a single worry.Traveling to South America eliminates this unless you are in some very gated niche area, or you’re very cautious, etc.
