What does /trv/ think about Sentos?
Looks good if you are a jap. I dont go to that kind of place japs need their own places away ftom subhumans
>>2917570You guys should go to a super sentÅ.
I went to one and everyone staired at me. It was super awkward. It was mixed men and women naked together. They kept saying "no no no, please leave, Japanese only". I told them I was Asian too and they needed to accept me. I'm not even brown so it was just racism. I told the front desk they needed to kick the racists out but they pretended to not understand my English.
>>2917570>be american>go to sento>fart on the stool>don't wash yourself before going into the bath>talk loudly>take photos
Would like to try one out next time I'm in Japan, but probably a super sento and not some small local spot like this because it'd be awkward as fuck.
>>2917741You just described every Chinese tourist.
>>2917556I stayed in such a bizzare "hostel" in Nishinari that the place had dirt cheap, clean private rooms and zero bums around BUT no shower. At all. So I pretty much had to go to the local neighborhood sento to wash myself. Was fine, really. The grandpas gave me a puzzled look at first but stopped giving a shit a minute later.I fail to see the point though if you have a bathtub at home.
>>2917733This story is completely made up. First, standard public baths (Sento) in Japan are strictly separated by gender by law; there are no "mixed naked" urban Sentos. Second, you were likely turned away not because of racism, but because you either broke bathhouse rules (like not washing before entering) or had visible tattoos. Japanese people get kicked out too if they don't follow the rules. Stop spreading fake experiences.
>>2917804Oh look another "racism doesnt exist in Japan" denying my lived experience.
>>2917834Oh look another "stop destroying my virgin incel fantasy with facts" post.
