ive been in romania for about a month now. been alright, in sibiu right now, decent town. i much prefer it to bucharest, i thought bucharest was designed shite and wasnt really a city i enjoyed to be in. Brasov was cool. I was talking to a guy dressed in traditional clothing and he told me this is a german town which i guess is cool. a lot of organ meat dishes in romania which im trying to get used to with my irish palette. getting kind of bored now in this country, what have you guys been up to, wheres your next destination or are you already in it? i have a few more pictures from romania if anyones interested in seeing them. yeah. dont know where to go to next. the english proficiency here isnt bad. Im having a much better time with people than rural france.
>>2918896>dont know where to go to nextPoland is chillHow are the Romanian womens? and plz post more pics and tell some stories and observations of culture
keep posting about your trip anon, Romania is listed as safer than France by the Australian government
>>2918904>>2918907desu im an overweight guy so havent had much luck with the apps. i dont really cold approach so ive just been chatting to anyone regardless of gender.yeah it is safe here youre right man. 2 nights ago i was walking to the bar dressed decently and a woman holding a baby was (must have been) begging me for money in romanian. i just said sorry i dont have any and kept it moving. in regards to other not so great events i seen a woman wearing an eye patch with visible bruising underneath her eye swinging on a guy she was walking with. was kind of sad to be honest he probably fucks her up. bad relationship. but yeah the people are cool. my social batteries are a bit drained right now just from chatting to a lot of people and drinking. after a while it just becomes the same night so its kind of pointless. this photos from brasov, was only there for a night sadly. looks a really cool place so i hope i can go back there. ill post a few more photos. met a russian tatar guy who was quite cool. ethnically russian but parents moved to constanta. apparently its a really nice place. met a few ukrainians. a few nights ago i was in an irish bar and a bogged american chelsea fan came in and his romanian buddy said to him, "this guys irish" and the american said "who gives a fuck if hes irish" lolguy was asking to find brothels, went outside put his arm around a romanian bird and she just told him to remove it and he slyly went back in to the bar kekbut yeah. i avoid all conflict if i can. i was with 3 romanians and a english lad and the police stopped us for the english guy being too lad. they asked to see my passport, i didnt have it on me and took a pic of my passport from my phonecont-
>>2918912ethnically tatar sorry*he interestingly enough does not claim to be russian at all :P just picking up my food order ill finish the blog in a minute.also what do you guys think about travel vlogging? i was thinking of buying the standard sony fdr x3000. not to be a cringe travel vlogger but just to keep accountability for myself
me and a few irish lads i know that have left by now got chatting to an elderly guy from Seattle. Cool guy. nice to hear from an older travelled person. his ex wife was from kerry lol. So far ive learned ce fac - whats upmultumesc - thank youimpare bini - nice to meet younuemele meu este - my name isheres a cute kitty i took a video of in bucharest. ive pretty much been to all 6 sectors but prefer the eastern sectors. theres street cats everywhere in Bucharest. its cute man. went to a rock bar when i first arrived there and drank some 75% alcohol with the bar owner and we got high in his flat while i fawned over his cats. walked home at like 5 am was no issues at all, i hear there are some dodgy neighbourhoods though but i never felt unsafe. i check my belongings a lot though. alcohol can range from 13 lei to 45 in some upper class places in the old town. i did get a few beers for 8 lei on a discount night in a edm spot. didnt stay long though. overall, my favourite spot and people has been italia. i listened to l'italiano nonstop on earphones when i first arrived. i think if i go italy id like to do some activities and history sites, museums. so far ive been to milan, bologna and south of modena in a tiny town called castle nuovo. anyways im getting off topic, i have a few more stories but im just yapping rnill post some of the food and things i seen though
>>2918912brasov looks pretty cool. not sure I'd be super interested in Bucharest, heard that Cluj is nicer and not as expensive since it's not a capital city and doesn't have all the embassy money. but it's hard to argue with cats
>>2918926yeah bucharest wasnt great. ive heard good things about Cluj and Timisoara too. apparently the people are a bit more chill. you got any destinations in mind?
>>2918928what I'd really like is to spend about a month wandering the streets, taking day trips by bicycle outside of the city, and eating new foods. probably an early fall trip, maybe a mid spring trip. spend like a week in different sections of the city to keep the scenery fresh
>>2918922They aren't part of the gayrozone? BasedRomania is one of those countries which has never seemed to get my attention. Like why go there as a United Statesian when South America exists?
>>2918996conversely, if you're not going to Patagonia, why bother with South America besides the lack of jet lag? Good for maybe a weeklong trip
>>2918996South America is a disgusting violent shithole. Why go there at all unless you are some broke white incel with a deathwish
>>2918912>police stopped us for the english guy being too ladkek
thanks for sharing OP>>2918907>keep posting about your trip anon, Romania is listed as safer than France by the Australian governmentromania is really a safe country, as most scum emigrated its now in the top worldwide for safetyits poor, a different kind of shithole, but its not violent place at all
what do you think of the girls OP? are they goodlooking in general? easygoing?
>>2918923So desolate. Are all small Romanian cities this empty?
>>2919306Safety does not include having your stuff stolen. Pickpocketing and thieving is a much worse problem in Romania than most other European countries. And in other countries it's often Romanians doing the thieving.
>>2919306>as most scum emigrated itsThis is a fact and true of all eastern Europe. Criminals all went to Britain, France, Italy and spain where they are allowed to steal from tourists. You just never feel safe in western Europe compared to eastern Europe
