Which places still have fun Halloween parties?
Looking for a destination to travel to for the Halloween weekend.

Tokyo was amazing but it got nerfed to all fuck with the restrictions in the main neighborhoods, it's honestly depressing considering how good it was pre-covid. It's not even worth going there any more. Are there any places that still do big parties?

Hk lkf is okay
Manila poblacion is too crowded

Seoul was good pre-crush, haven't been since. It is the only place I've been to that somewhat had the same vibe as Shibuya Halloween.
>>
Halloween is a time to remember your ancestors. You don't spend that time getting inebreated with fake frens.

it's kind of weird to treat it as a tourist attraction but all saints' day is kino as fuck if you happen to be in one of the countries that seriously celebrates it.

Problem is police crack down made it boring. Fun police no heavy drinking etc so you dont get the sloppy crazy

that's a daytime cosplay event, my dumb friend. any proper replacement of the shibuya halloween that is even remotely fun gets killed by the government before it can even get off the ground.

>Seoul was good
Itaewon? When I went there it was mostly just people going to different clubs on that one street. was fun in the end but nothing like Shibuya. Or is there a bigger one in somewhere like Hongdae?

Halloween is a time to eat a shit load of candy, dress up in a costume and watch spooky movies. Nobody wants to LARP as a retarded pagan on Halloween.

Fellow pagan sir, my Hindu people also celebrate a custom fest like Halloween in India called Tesu Puja. We also light fires and ask for treats from our neighbours. The more treats the more izzat you gain! My favourite treat is cow dung patty. It tastes heavenly.

The first place you should look is America, the country that invented the modern Halloween we all know today and heavily commercialized it. You walk into any store on Halloween and they have whole aisle selling Halloween. You go to any neighborhood, Halloween stuff everywhere. There are huge outdoor parties all over every major US city and suburbs. America goes crazy for Halloween. It's embedded in the culture of every neighborhood, every school, every workplace , every home and every shop etc

I would start with the biggest and most dense city: NYC

The Greenwich Village Halloween Parade is the largest Halloween parade and outdoor public celebration in the world, drawing over two million spectators and costumed participants.

• Take the Subway: Traffic in Lower Manhattan comes to a complete standstill. Use the subway (A, C, E, B, D, F, or M lines to West 4th St or nearby stations), but be prepared for heavy crowds and closed station exits along the immediate route.
• Travel Light: Large bags and backpacks are discouraged and will make navigating the dense crowds difficult.

My ancestors were socially well adjusted people who had sex and they achieved that by partying and hanging out in social events, so actually I am honoring them by partying in Halloween
