I grew up in 1990s having some Indian friends and I ended up liking their food and even their Bollywood stuff. I want to take my wife (and 5yo child) to India this fall/winter, but wife is poisoned by anti-Indian stuff that took over the internet.I have 1 shot to change her mind. Can be all-inclusive vacation in some resort as long as nobody shits on the beach and we're not puking our guts out.How something like Goa or Kerala compares to something like Mombasa or Zanzibar?
What about Sri Lanka? It's cheaper (for five-star beach luxury), much less polluted and more normie-tier. Personally I wouldn't go to Goa, the time when it was a cool ex-colony full of hippies has passed. It's pure India now.

>>2919321I heard Sri Lanka is India light and that's the 2nd option. I was wondering if there's actual India experience that is also decent and relatively family friendly.
>>2919325Any particular recommendations?
>>2919329The whole area is entirely different from regular India, the people are a separate race and religion and speak English as their main language. The only downside is you need a permit to go there, even jeets need a permit so there's not that many. Look up Manipur or Kohima etc
>>2919316taking a kid to india is a bit of a challenge anonbut if it must be done i suggest doing something like renting a houseboat in kerala and floating around the waterways for a bitkerala is a bit more civilised than most indian states. they have a higher standard of living, better education etc
