>>4549912Where, oh, where could we find a girl who likes girls?
>>4549935It really is such a rarity.
>>4549911Oh momma, that news post is getting supersized. We're not running out of content anytine soon. And still some goons will whine about how there aint any yuri titles
>>4549969There aren't any yuri titles that appeal to my incredibly specific tastes though, so there may as well be NOTHING.
>>4550009Oh no. How tragic.
>>4549911How much screen time do the lesbians in Heart of the Forest get? And can they survive till the end of the story? I like horror FMV games but I don't really like doomed lesbians much.
>>4550009This but unironically >:(
So playing through Calamity Angels, it really feels like generic iF/Compile Heart slop, though somewhat more fun and unique. I can't really see much yuri here, even on a subtextual level. I thought it would be pretty much heteronormative... but then I got a delivery from an old artist talking about delivering a present to his HUSBAND?? So this game is willing to have gay representation after all. I'll keep an eye out for something /u/ relevant after all.
>>4549911That Buddha gameWeird how we are getting more visual novels where you can pick protag and lover gender. Maybe its better than just choosing protag sex but also makes the heroines less fleshed out as girls. Just visual changes are lazy. >>4550080Everyone can survive
Alright, this is probanly the final lesbian smut novel in the game (or is it?). And what a hoot, it's good old step-incest. I guess some things never change no matter what era of porn we're talking about. Note how banging her sister is the only time in these that Lilliana is the aggressor who is pushing for sexy times on her own too.
Alright, alright. Let it be known that if you do absolutely every fetch quest this quartermaster lady gives you, she will in fact offer a one-night stand. It's just a fade to black with nothing erotic happening though.Guess I should have leveled my stamina stat a bit more...
>>4550009>Mood
>>4550115I've also been seeing a lot of AI slop on the Switch eShop where 2 games are clearly the same game but every character is genderswapped. I assume its just more of that
>>4550243Nah this has literally nothing to do with that. At least look at the game before making inane comparisons.
>>4550147*blushes*
https://store.steampowered.com/app/2318330/Neverway/I'm really interested in this game. Will come out in October. It's a "life sim", but it has a heavy combat focus and is full of eldritch horror stuff. The datable villagers are also all kinds of weird and punkish. Synopsis: "Neverway is a blend of horror, life sim, and action RPG. After Fiona quits her job, she starts over on a farm and becomes the immortal herald of a dead god. Keep your life from falling apart while searching for Neverway, a nightmare reality that is slowly leaking into yours."The fact that it's a defined female protag already elevates it above most farming sims for me. Having good action gameplay and a horror theme is just the cherry on top.
>>4550292Say no more.
>>4550009Oh hello me, except I am sort of looking forward to The Expanse
>>4550088>>4550480You need to do something about your autism.
I think just by virtue of being an unhinged unrestricted insane asylum where anything you want can happen, the new Tomodachi Life is an easy recommend. You can populate your entire island with girls (I recommend basing them on yuri characters) and just see the soap opera drama unfold. There are no gender restrictions on romance.
Even if there's nothing for someone with some extreme niche taste looking for something very specific, it's still good to see a lot of new games because this means devs who do something are visible and industrious. One day, even (You) will find the perfect game for yourself.
Finished Burning Shores. The chemistry between these bums did not get better but I relented and chose the kiss option anyway. They need to give players some more options in the sequel, like Talanah, shit I'll even take Petra. Shame that is probably another 5 years away thanks to all the resources being funneled into the multiplayer game.
>>4550577Tallanah is single and moved on from her dumb crush after you finish her questline, so it's totally possible. Petra, definitely not. It was discussed before that there is enough wiggle room for a several love interests set-up in the final game. I dunno, if that means the devs giving the m*les a shot, then I'd prefer if we stuck with Seyka.
>>4550594Seyka's problem is that she's stuck in the DLC. Chances of her appearing again are probably slim.
>>4550630It's the opposite, chances are very high she will be relevant to the third game. They didn't set her up like this just to ignore her afterwards. This isn't some AssCreed game where you get 20 shallow hook-ups that get forgotten by the end of the game. They made this whole plot point very deliberately.
>>4550571>(You) will find the perfect game for yourself>findunlikely, but instead of resigning to a life without it, (You) can -make- it yourself
>>4550103Let me know, I love Kei Nanameda's art but this looked too cheap even for CH standards. Some yuri would at least be an incentive to get it on a sale.
Speaking of incredibly specific tastes. I found a idler clicker with yurihttps://store.steampowered.com/app/4247760/Angel_Clicker/It's gameplay is not really to my usual tastes, and neither is the heaven and hell thing, but it's gay, short and cheap so I'm giving it a shot.I heard from reviews that they kiss in the end. Though even what little story I've gotten so far is pretty gay.Just keep in mind it's an idler after all, though I'm hearing 5-7 hours. I'm mainly picking it up in the hopes that one day someone would make a yuri idler I can sink, or more like afk, a couple hundred hours in.
>>4550635It's in the news post. >afkI don't understand the point of games you dont actually play. It's so stupid. At least Angel Clicker actively involves you and can be played like a real game.
>>4550571>some extreme niche tasteAll I want is Mass Effect but gayI hate VNs
>>4550651Nobody cares what you like or hate. Mass Effect already lets you be gay. There aren't any other games like Mass Effect in general so it has zero to do with yuri.
Hello, game thread. I recently published my new VN if you're interested (>>4550135).
>>4550631That would mean that players are forced to play the DLC to get who she is.
>>4550659Holy shit you finished it!!Hyped/10
>>4550659Oh wow! Great work, anon!I might usually not be that big on VNs, but I'll check it out.
>>4550678Anon... any version of the game you vould get for years had the DLC bundled in. It's conpletely normal to expect people to have played it. And if not they can get fucking aquainted in the third game.
>>4550678>That would mean that players are forced to play the DLC to get who she is.Look at TLOU, if you even didn't get DLC where she kisses her friend you still got Ellie being gay in sequel.
>>4550681>>4550691Thank you.
>>4550696Yeah, but no mention of her first love.
The Expanse Osris Reborn closed beta impressions are trickling out and they seem mostly positive, at least around the gameplay Not sure how /u/ this ends up being given its an Owlcat game and we might get stuck with the bi leftover scraps again but it’s good to know the fundamels are at least solid >>4550594Petra is a badass and deserves love
>>4550723How many times do you have to lie about Owlcat love interests till you realize nobody is dumb enough to fall for it?
The issue is that 99.99999999% of yuri """games""""" are just visual novels.People who like actual games are out of options.
>>4550733Frankly we should be happy with that atm. Its expensive to develop any game bigger than a vn or an rpg maker game.So unless we make a yuri grant to incentivise devs to make purely yuri works we gotta take what we can get
>>4550735There is also the fact that yuri is a narrative genre, something doesn't that translate into non-narrative mediums like gameplay-focused videogames.VNs are pretty much the perfect vehicle for yuri and anyone complaining about them should take their leave.
>>4550737You could make a Yuri DMC like game and that'll be fine. Narrative =/= 20+ hours of pure story.
>>4550738>You could makeWhat's your current project count?
>>4550737I completely disagree on that. You can easily just slot yuri into any pre-existing story to make it better. Think of all the games that don't have explicit romance yet plenty of people ship the characters anyway, make it explicit and you got yuri.
>>4550740What's yours, smart ass?
>>4550742You didn't answer the question. Why is that?
>>4550738>>4550741Why would you want to spend 30+ hours of non-yuri tryhard content to get a couple minutes cutscenes, when you can simply play a VN and get immersed into the character interactions and romance from the very start?
>>4550744For fun gameplay of course. I would rather read a book than play a VN because then I can go at my reading speed instead of waiting on the game's pacing.
>>4550745>For fun gameplay of course. Then why don't you play a regular non-yuri game if you dislike yuri so much you would rather have 40+ hours of non-yuri content?
>>4550747Get some new material.
>>4550745You can set VNs to auto scroll as fast as you want and usully pressing the space bar or whatever will make it fill in the text all the way
>>4550749Yeah but then if the game has voice acting I'll feel bad about skipping it, then I still have to wait on loading. Plus spending all that time reading a book on a screen, sitting at a desk just isn't as comfy as sitting in my reading chair feeling the weight of a book in my hands.
>>4550738Yea Samurai Maiden already exits
>>4550750Then stick to voiceless ones. Those vastly outnumber voiced ones
For fucks sake, why is all the old bait being reheated again all of a sudden? Did a bored /v/tard come back here after a long break to repeat the old shit again? I would say stop replying to such obvious trolling, but at this point I'm pretty sure most of this is samefagging.
>>4550744Sometimes knowing the protagonist has a girlfriend/wife just enhances the gameplay and interactions, even if she only appears briefly.
>>4550693The DLC isnt playable on PS4
>>4550769And? The PS4 version is not the most played version. PS5 and Steam are the ones that are recommended.
>>4550770It's okay to admit you were wrong.
>>4550771About what, retard? I said any version you could get for years bundles the DLC in. The PS4 version existed on launch and has not gotten anything since. I'm not gonna take any more of your garbage bait. Conversation over.
>>4550766Imagine if Samus occasionally got texts from her wife containing cute little messages of encouragement and gossip throughout her games but everything else is the same as usual, would be fantastic.
>>4550776Any game really.Imagine Metal Gear with a /u/ protag and one of the support team members you can call is your gf and you two can banter/flirt a little while she also provides you with vital intel.RTS game campaign. You as the commander has a gf or something and you can talk to her between the mission briefings. Any genre would be immediately improved.
>>4550652No, gayer than Mass Effect
>>4550724Who is the /u/ exclusive romance in Rogue Trader?
>>4550834You never said shit about "exclusives". Enough goalpost moving.
>>4550836I said we only get the bi scraps and you disagreed So who is the /u/ exclusive romance then
>>4550841Not stooping to your level. Fuck you.
>>4550744In a well-designed game, the act of playing the game can augment its story.
>>4550784Fuck, I was never interested in survival horror until Signalis. Having yuri + its artstyle got me to play the game and got me into a new genre.Yuri really is the key to life.
>>4550784>one of the support team members you can call is your gfShe never existed. Turn off your game console right now. I need scissors! 61!
Hay anyone else having problems with P3R's femC update? I just bought it on steam after migrating from gamepass and now it just keeps crashing. It's only the femC mod that's causing it
>>4551128Anon.... seriously, do you even check the mod page before you download it? P3R recently got an update which broke all mods. They are working on it, but they recommended not updating the game to the latest version. Not that there is a reason to play the mod yet considering that most of the rewrites and SLs arent done.
>>4550737>There is also the fact that yuri is a narrative genre, something doesn't that translate into non-narrative mediums like gameplay-focused videogames.Any variant of RPG seems like a good choice, they can have a good balance of story and gameplay, just because it's an RPG doesn't mean it has to be an RPGMaker game.Ideally I'd go with an SRPG like Final Fantasy Tactics, it's more interesting mechanically and you can field more characters at a time, which means you get to see more yuri couples in action, but they shouldn't be generic units with procedural dialogues or something, that would be bland.I know there's some Fire Emblem games like that, but those relegate the romance to a few optional scenes which isn't very satisfying, or even restrict the yuri to a generic protagonist unit.
>False advertisement: the game
>>4551225Impressive. Kinda like how all those harem dating sims never feature the male protag on the cover.
>>4550737>non-narrative mediums like gameplay-focused videogames. That doesn't make any senseYou mean Max Payne for instance is a non-narrative game? Do games not have plots?
>>4551163Hay I just bought the steam version since it was on sale and just wanted to make sure my mods worked. But good to know it's not just a me thing
https://store.steampowered.com/app/3048420/Set_Yourself_on_Fire/Set Yourself On Fire finally released. It's a VN I've been keeping an eye on. If you are into melancholy love stories then this is my recommendation. The setting of urban decay and dying cities somehow always get under my skin. There are few things more existentially disconcerting than a place that's meant to be bustling, slowly falling apart. This work definitely borders on pretentious sometimes, but I think it's more genuine than overly artistic.
>>4551337It's also free.99
The P5R femc mod doesn't let you romance Kawakami right
>>4551446None of the adults have custom scripts but I'm not sure if the mod breaks if you decide to go for it
>>4551446>>4551452The mod doesnt break, but no rewrites. And despite what some anons claim, it does not work with the she/her pronouns mod, because the files don't work with each other.
Is this insane rhythm game yuri? I saw it on a Steam Next Fes ages ago and it seemed to have some hints in the trailer. But it's a fever dream so I cant really tell.https://store.steampowered.com/app/2914150/Yunyun_Syndrome_Rhythm_Psychosis/

>>4551589This is Alice in Wonderland with yuri attached to? Count me in.And the end confirmed how this game should be pronounced. CRYME Light-o. Not Cry Me Light.
>>4551589Ah there is the cry me light we talked about last thread. Protagonist immediately crying on the cover might give us an insight to how the title should be read.
>>4551590So it really is all about crymes. Cyberpunk Alice in Wonderland when?
>>4551590Yes, it's all about crime and punishment: https://www.gematsu.com/2026/04/furyu-announces-roguelike-action-game-crymelight-for-ps5-switch-2-and-pc
>>4551589Twisted Alice in Wonderland has been kinda done to death. I also see no hints that it's yuri. Don't be under the assumption that they will always be as explicit as Crymachina. Crystar was not a yuri game.
>>4551592Not soon enough.>>4551593>follows a cast of young female heroines navigating dark fantasy worlds, battling lost souls while shedding tears.
>>4551594The MCs have at least as much potential as the main pair in Crymachina did in pre-release info.>Alice (voiced by Sayaka Senbongi) – An amnesiac girl summoned to Wonderland. One of the participants of the Death Game held in Wonderland. She has lost all her memories from before and after her death. She throws herself into battle to reach the place she longs for. She shows no interest in anyone else and never displays affection toward others—except for Mary, perhaps… is her memory loss a blessing? Or a curse?>Mary (voiced by Sekine Hitomi) – An innocent, naive girl who wandered into Wonderland. She is not a Death Game participant, but rather an uninvited guest. An innocent, naive girl who wandered into Wonderland. She is not a Death Game participant, but rather an uninvited guest. She has lost her memories, much like Alice has. Even so, a strong desire to find her way home persists within her. She is fond of Alice, to whom she owes a debt of gratitude, and vows to fight for her despite her lack of strength. No matter how painful the battle ahead may be…

Guess we'll see how it develops.>>4551718Crystar's basically an all-female cast so it's like the next best thing. I'd say if you have any interest in the series, especially Crymachina, then $2 is worth it as the story and characters are good. The gameplay does feel like an intern's first Unity project and without spoiling anything, the game is much longer than it can really sustain itself. The aesthetics and characters hard carry it. Crymachina is by most accounts a more polished game. Also, it is explicitly yuri.
>>4551725>Crystar's basically an all-female cast so it's like the next best thingStop recommending games with het girls that had boyfriends in it. There is no yuri in Crystar. Childhood friend and capable of feeding Alice for life? Truly the main heroine.
>>4552442>Childhood friendworst trope
>>4552443No, your brain is just fried from hanging out on TVtropes. Very subhuman of you. If you literally see the childhood in question it's perfectly organic. >>4552510>SpoilerSpeaking of her, apparently she was the protagonist of a bunch of board games which were the prequel of this one. They sounded pretty wild.https://steamcommunity.com/app/3562120/eventcomments/592909603985046080/
>>4552522Wild character development for the Queen. We also could have maybe, probably had an all female tutor cast.
>>4552525I also like 3, 6, 7 and 8.I wonder how the early games were like, like were they always this insane? Or did they have some crazy routes and then just rolled with it.I assume it's some kind of solo board game or something? Probably something like what we're playing, but with cards instead.

anyone has experience with the modded panam romance for female v in cyberpyunk?
>>4552540I mean I did use that mod, but I didnt end up romancing her. Why? Got technical difficulties?
>>4552547was just curious how "complete" it is and how many little moments are not fixed and immersion breakingbut i also realized you can romance multiple partners anyway so i think im just going to download and see how it is and then go back to judy in the end anyway
>>4552556NTA, I don't remember any real immersion breaking moments but admittedly I didn't like her story all that much so I wasn't paying 100% attention. I think one of the sex scenes made me think "that's a unique way of slamming clams" but that's about it.
>>4552454This is just a shitpost.
>>4552569Look just because the dub is abysmal doesn't mean it's a shit post
>>4552510And she indeed is, with "Be Together with Cornelia" ending available after the climactic boss fight and lore drops, overwriting the love interest you should normally get with her and getting unique end credits. And the key for True Ending++ stuff, which is more focused on the father-daughter stuff and the villain's backstory, but has a small surprise for those who finished the romance routes before attempting it. Also, the Demon Queen ending doesn't combine with the usual romance epilogues, which feels fitting due to how grim it is, but I miss the goofy charm of mixing it with cutesy romantic scenes in Volcano Princess.
>>4552558Sounds goodBut what is the Female V dialog in those Panam scenes? AI? Distorted m*le dialog?
>>4552510I also finished my first run through, though with Croix. The gameplay loop reminds me of incremental games. Where you prestige and use your achievement points to get a headstart and other things on the new run.Annoyingly enough this does mean the male romance cheevos does also give you points if you want to make things easier in the future. Though at least now that I know what to do, I'll just do a burner run and also get some of those job achievements at the same time, and skip like everything else. Not sure who to end it on though, the three +1 are all good.Oh, btw the dates do start looping if you take every date opportunity. But it'll probably be only 1-2 times. I had one repeat, and one where it bugged out or something weird where it just skipped the date entirely.
>>4552454If I had a coin every time a giant robot game with a selectable protagonist had surprise yuri i'd have two coins which isn't a lot but still weird it happened twice
>>4552587>demon queen ending without romanceWow. Way to discriminate against the morally challenged! Should just turn one of the love interests into a demon wife.>>4552590Yeah anon that's how raising sims tend to work these days. They are made with NG+ in mind.VP has a lot more romancable girls and stuff going on, so it can maybe keep you a bit more engaged during runs, but I think it's normal to skip stuff you already saw and work towards your goals. I never got all the possible profession endings and outcomes in VP either (of course I avoided all male romances). Like you could get an ending for not having the stats to get ANY job, basically the daughter just becoming a homeless bum. Or the endings that require stats so low that the game auto-assigns the daughter to become a generic choice of 4 jobs without a profession ending slide where she starts a family. Interestingly there were two generic male and two generic female spouses even in those possible outcomes.VP really has a standard of its own. But I'm going to play Matgical Princess this week to really explore how deep it goes too.
Considering this was her first choice before the main game even starts, they should have a special ending if you pick the florist profession, right?
Probably too early to lock in on Crois as the love interest, but dang is she cute. Also I am surprised the game just tells you all a character's prefered gifts immediately. In VP and some other raising sims, figuring out what a character likes is kind of trial and error and part of the challenge.
>>4552476>Okay, it is 35% now but I don't think I'll have the time. Probably for summer sale.Wtf? it's cheap as hell at all times. What's the issue with spending like 7 bucks right now and playing it later?
Goddamn... in VP you really had to go out of your way to raise the daughter's Darkness and it was kinda unlikely to happen on accident. But in MP the daughter just immiediately starts baking drug bread if you work at night day 1. It's not like you can do much else at night, so isn't the game gearing you to raise your evil stat way too easily? Is this why Crois is obssessed with bread?
>>4552739...I think going down the Crois route will make it kind of hard to avoid becoming a criminal.
>>4552739Turns out the "white powder" is rice flour. Using rice is illegal in this kingdom.Should have paid attention to the insane board game settings.
>>4552516>Toxic yuri circa 2002I was a blind fool in those days
>>4552733Just a little QoL.>>4552739>It's not like you can do much else at nightSleeping is a thing. I didn't notice the first run through because I was talking to everyone whenever I can, but the stress reduction from chatting is actually pretty substantial.Second run I work a lot and don't talk much. Stress is becoming a very significant issue.I mean it's a throwaway run so it doesn't matter too much, but I've had too many days where my energy is just halved. I'm trying to complete the evil bakery after completing the good one, and that's a pain.>>4552747I've never really figured out the stealing system. I think you might need a skill to do that actually. The only time I stole was during the regular battle events when you skimp out.
>>4552759>stealing systemThere is a skill called Shoplifter which enables you to steal both at day and night but I highly recommend stealing in the morning. They are too sharp and watchful at night. Swipe the winter coat and pray for forgiveness later on. It's for a good cause. God certainly wouldn't want our daughter to freeze.
>>4552759There is a steal skill in the Charisma section of the skill tree. But I dont really have a reason to steal desu. This game's morality system is a bit dumb imo. Half the game seems to be locked behind being evil, but the writing doesnt support those extremes. In VP it was also not great, but at least most darkness point came from treating Rose badly and letting her do shady jobs or go bounty hunting in the backstreets dealing with cultists. Stuff that actually would corrupt her.
ah yes, the legendary weapon.
>>4552830On the other hand, getting "evil" points makes Alice naughty rather than truly corrupted, which fits better with the slightly darkly comedic lore of hardcore bakery rivalries and such. The naughty events show her doing well-intentioned violence, impulsive teenage delinquency, and rushing into becoming an adult, and the few times she truly crosses the line, she immediately feels terrible. And she still can be a compulsive kleptomaniac, loyal member of an illegal rice-baking establishment, and backalley brawler, which is evil enough. You actually get some unique content after beating the true/Cornelia ending boss with naughty Alice, which supports my thesis. And even the Demon Queen ending starts with her showing kindness to monsters, which tragically snowballs into war with humans rather than her becoming a supervillain.
>>4552690That comment says they are surprised that more fan fic of them doesn't exist. Also she's as romancable as the game allows for any of the charactersIf you don't want to play the janky mech game from 24 years ago with the stilted dialogue, that's fine but don't act like this is an egregious act
>>4552860It's just the local retard, ignore him.
>>4552794>>4552830I just steal when the monsters come out to play. Can you not steal otherwise? Or did I miss the steal button in the shop during normal nights?Should I even be stealing? Needing to fix morality takes a lot of actions too, unless you can steal those hard items. So far I've stolen 2-3 times, but only the easy ones, all succeeded.>>4552853>well-intentioned violenceI like that one. Also I wonder which naughty one I'm missing, I've seen the 3 you mentioned. And also the stealing money one. Lmao that one is so shit. Being bad gives you +2k. Being good gets you scammed out of 1k. Though thankfully it's your money, not your daughter's.
>>4552873>Is stealing worth it?In this current economy it's almost detrimental to steal. The most useful stuff is pretty expensive and a girl's gotta to do what a girl's gotta do to survive the harsh winter and keep her girls happy at the same time. Although I'm basing my knowledge on the demo, so some stats and items may vary but I don't dare to boot it up yet.
>>4552605Are there any more console exclusive yuri or at least yuri-adjacent games? PS Store Japan has a big sale going on right now, snagged this one (regardless of how much yuri there is I'm a big tokusatsu fan anyway) and wondering if there's something else I should get that's not available on PC (or not available on PC untranslated if it's a Japanese game, which sadly happens a lot of the time). I've got the Mary Skelter stuff physically already.
...that and also Flowers Shiki, Yoru Tomosu, and Jinrui no minasame e with its sequel.
>>4552899This idiot probably bought MS1 and Finale.
>>4552911MS1 is included in MS2 so you can't really get one without the other. Can't recall if I have Finale or not, might have gotten it for completion's sake but maybe not. Is it really that lackluster?
>>4552915Look shit up before you buy it.
>>4552874>This is literally less than subtext. No that is subtext right there. Not my problem if you don't like what is on the screen.Your need to be right is pathetic. Just ignore the game then
>>4552915I just know the het and yuri couples split Mc duties
>>4552927I wasn't even the anon that brought it up. I already planned on playing it, it's just has bonus yuri. Which makes it worth more to me.I don't care how much you sperg out. Subtext isn't off topic no matter how much you whine about the 24 year old game
So how's Magical Princess, is it on the same level or better in terms of game and gayness than VP?
>>4552843It's to France what Excalibur is to Britain.
>>4552950I'd say the gameplay is more fun, but it's less gay...At least for me, I got "THE ONE" relationship with Chocolat, and it feels like it should be going for a relationship, but my daughter keeps being a prude, what the FUCK? what am I missing?
>>4552966Ok, I got it finally. I just happened to choose several celibate occupations in a row.
>>4552969>several celibate occupationsThose matter?Or were those you chose 1 or 2 stars? I heard that 1 star endings/professions have you go solo. Dunno about 2.
>>4552978Fuck off to /d/
>>4552975Obviously celibate professions means no romance ending. VP also had one if you became a nun. Though funnily enough all higher level religious professions didn't have any restrictions on romance.Magical Princess seems to take it a bit more seriously.
>>4553043Says the moid who keeps getting deleted for not liking subtextIt having yuri makes it go up in value. I have no clue why the shit that bothers you. Do you get this pissed about summoner sword saga?
>>4553070>It having yuri makes it go up in valueExcept it doesn't have yuri. And you said you would have played it if it didn't have any. You suck are deflecting.
>>4553052>celibate professionsSo that's a thing...Oh... So that's another way to get the Flying Solo achievement then? Also I read Knight Commander is celibate too. And seemingly some of the 5 stars.
>>4552915Finale's plot sucked, and I blame the antagonists. Although the reason it gets roasted here is because the lesbians have to share screentime with non-lesbians. The ratio is off though, I've seen some people claim the game is 90% het when it's more like 50/50. Either get it on sale on watch the yuri wedding on youtube, would not recommend buying at full price (assuming you don't own it already).
>>4553073This may shock you, but yuri fans are allowed to play non-yuri games.
>>4553088And they can do that and talk about it on /v/ or whatever hole they actually crawled out of.
>>4553086It's not an exaggeration. Of the three protagonist groups only 1 has the lesbian couple in it. They are not treated as actual protagonists even. And the fucking dating sim that's tagged on, which the yuri wedding was forcefully shoved into, is entirely het. Anybody who is willing to play a het dating sim to see 2 minutes of a lesbian side-pairing getting wedded has their priorities completely fucked up. That's why nearly everyone suggest just watching a video of OtsuuMermaid's wedding scene. It's basically all you really need from Finale.
>>4553087It's the literal designated love interest character. The game keeps in the romancey bits even taking into account character exclusive scenes. Sure it's not much but the devs definitely knew what they were doing and got as much in as a general audience PS2 game could in 2002.Not like we're discussing the gameplay or whatever triggers you either. Nanao is basically the one thing everyone talks about from RAD anyway, talking about her dynamic and interactions with the FeMC is more than on-topic.
>>4553091Designated by who? Your imagination? The game doesn't have a "love interest" tag, that's for fucking sure.At the absolute most, and this is giving you way too much fucking credit, there is a one-sided crush going on. There's not even enough content or reaction from the carboard cutout protagonist to call this a romance, which I have been repeatedly telling you.The literal sum of the """yuri"""" here:>Nanao says she likes protag in vague terms>Nanao wants to walk home with protag>Nanao wants to cook for protag as a thank youIn what universe is this actual romance? Let alone something worth calling yuri. You can mass report my posts all you want, the truth wont change.
>>4553090You make it sound like you had to endure hours of het to get yuri. Skipping the intro takes a few seconds + reading the yuri story is roughly 10 minutes.
>>4553095It's almost like skipping all the het parts means you have no reason to play the game. In which case you might as well just watch a video of that one scene instead of paying money for a 90% het game with a male protagonist and countless hours of bad gameplay, shitty plot and no real yuri focus.
>>4553096I just checked youtube, the part you need to skip to unlock the yuri content is 1 cutscene worth about 15 minutes in length. The aforementioned yuri content is 10 minutes in length. Finale had bigger problems than making yuri fans take a few seconds to skip one cutscene so they can watch the epilogue for the yuri couple.
>>4553098Why are you intentionally ignoring that to finish that mode you need to go through all the het dating sim garbage? You are just saying you can skip the intro and then not finish the game. So if you only goal is to see that one wedding scene, why go through all this godawful trash at all?Finale not being a yuri game and putting the only yuri couple as side-characters and an afterthought is a big deal alright.
>>4553099Anon, you don't need to touch the "dating sim" at all. After you skip that intro cutscene, you get access to this full list of character epilogues. As long as you pick Otsuu and Little Mermaid's tab, you don't have to see any "dating sim" at all. There is no barrier between you and the yuri. If you click on any other tab and see het, it's your fault. I don't know what else to tell you.
>>4553100You didnt get it, retard. You are just saying you can skip the entire conclusion to the game to see the OtsuuMermaid ending. The ENTIRE logic collapses once you stop being autistic for three seconds. I am telling you over and over that if you have to skip 90% of the game to not disgust yuri fans and get some actual yuri then the game is not worth playing. This isn't like playing am RPG like BG3, where the romance parts are also just a small part of the game sprinkled over the whole playthrough, because you dont have to play a linear male protag hetshit experience that gets in the way of the actual relationship you want to develop. MS Finale has nothing to offer to people who liked MS2. It's MS1's conclusion with OtsuuMermaid glued onto the back. Worthless.
>>4553101>You are just saying you can skip the entire conclusion to the game to see the OtsuuMermaid ending. It is not the entire conclusion. The conclusion of Finale takes place...within Finale. We are discussing Locked Up in Love, which is an epilogue VN. There are no important plot points that take place here, besides giving characters extra fluff and wedding scenes. Hence, you skip one cutscene to get the yuri epilogue.I am starting to realize the problem here is that you have played neither Finale nor Locked Up in Love, which is where your misunderstanding that you have to "skip the conclusion to the game" to see the yuri arises from. And as mentioned above, Finale is more like 50/50 in terms of yuri and het pandering. You don't have to skip 90% of anything.
>>4553076Knight commander, hero and a one star are the ones I picked in a row without getting to see the partnered ending, yes. Sucks too because knight commander Alice kinda goes hard.
>>4553102What you aren't realizing is that you clearly have a mental impedgiment that prevents you from understanding the written word. All of those epilogue scenes are conclusions to the whole cast. You are choosing to ignore everyone except OtsuuMermaid, which means you dont give a shit about the rest of the cast and their het antics, as any actual yuri fan playing here should. But that shows the inherent worthlessness of the whole game.It is NOT 50/50, only OtsuuMermaid are actually a yuri pairing. Everything else is irrelevant. Hetshit or just characters who are het, not doing anything het at the moment. That's why it is 90/10 and not "50/50" you delusional fuck. But even if it was 50/50, how fucking retarded do you have to be to believe 50% hetshit focus is an acceptable amount? Go back to your home board crossie.
>>4553104I'm just stating that your ratio is wrong. My first post in this discussion said to get it on sale or watch on youtube, exactly for people who have a problem with 50% being too much. I never once said 50% was a good thing, in your seething anger you just conjured that up on your own because you are desperate for a black and white, I'm right you're wrong type of debate.>You are choosing to ignore everyone except OtsuuMermaid, which means you dont give a shit about the rest of the cast and their het antics, as any actual yuri fan playing here should. This is the only thing of value you've posted. Let's end it here, it's clear that your anger is getting the better of you so you can get one last word in if you'd like to vent.
>>4553105>constantly defends hetshit focused game and downplays it by lying about how much yuri there is>YoU aRe JuST maD!Same old, huh?
>>4553106same old would be posting about MS2, since most of its discussions went just fine in here with people also often bringing up how to avoid the icky het. But now we have an uppity newfag who think he lords over the board rules even when getting deleted.
>>4553108We are talking about Finale, because you keep defending it. Try looking in a mirror instead of constantly pretending everyone else is the problem.
>>4553109>Try looking in a mirror instead of constantly pretending everyone else is the problem.Yeah, that. nta btw and also joining with him in that I won't be replying any longer because you're that type of creature that will reply infinitely until you're deleted.

>>4553103Chancellor, which does have a partnered ending fyi, is pretty good too. Was my first pick on my first run, and honestly it hits harder when you go on to the other loops.Ending spoiler. I was trawling eshop sales and noticed there was a Revue Starlight game that I either missed hearing about or forgot, Revue Starlight El Dorado. Anybody know how gay it is?
Came across a spoiler of a newly released big game and it allegedly has a /u/ surpriseI dont fully believe it but it made me chuckle
>>4552748I'm going through all the endings I've unlocked, which here's a tip, stack up all your graduation saves for each loop at the top of the list, because the game lacks an event viewer for some godforsaken reason. But anyway, I was doing the underground doctor ending, and guess what the patient was coming in for? Fish bone stuck in their throat. And it's treated like how gunshot wounds are treated in which you probably shouldn't go to the hospital. Because apparently fish is illegal too...Also learned that not all 1 star precludes a partner, or they might have some special requirement. For example, choosing to become a thief, still unlocks the Crois ending. I don't know if it's special, or it just so happens those two work together. Come to think of it I have a save with someone else, I could go check it out. It's also funny how your parents basically just have one set of lines at the ending. So becoming a hikkineet and they just go, yeah she's doing okay.Btw for true ending, what's the requirement to trigger the final fight together with Cornet? I thought it was just a thing, but my last run didn't have it somehow...
>>4553371I remember there being a kiss scene in the play and what's basically a proposal scene for some side characters, so I reccomend it if you like Revue Starlight enough
>>4553371Only a completely new side-pairing gets some subtext. All the girls you actually care about have zero yuri subtext going on and are even mixed with girls that arent in their usual pairing. It was considered a major disappointment for all RevStar fans, especially because it is considered canon. As usual the other guy replying to you has no idea what he is talking about.
>>4553148Stop posting animal images and gifs. When will you learn this is /u/ where you only post girls, of the gay variety. Holy shit.

>>4553491NTA, but you don’t know that T-Rex isn’t a gay girl.
>>4553490No, the other anon who I assume actually played or at least watched it is right. There is a kiss in the play which in one of the routes is between Futaba and Kaoruko. Not accompanied by a CG though.
>>4553494You need to proof it's a girl. Animals arent girls anyway. And unless the T-rex is kissing a scissoring another female T-rex you can fuck off.
>>4553495I never said anything about the fake play kiss though? It's irrelevant.
>>4553497>All the girls you actually care about have zero yuri subtext going onBut you're already on the "it doesn't count" goalpost moving anyway.
>>4553498I am sorry that the concept of theatrical kisses doesn't register in your mind, but ultimately you can shiffle any of these girls in the same position and it would make zero difference. In fact most theater kisses these days arn't even real kisses, they are just pretend where lips don't even need to touch. We are talking about a VN where the pairings you care about arent in the focus and get shuffled and you get zero romantic development and then they just split up after again, just like in the anime. It's a nothingburger that nobody liked. I despise your shitty contrarianism and constant need to lie or engage in pointless and disengenious trench warfare. Instead of trying to cling to this kind of half-ased rhetoric to be right, how about you look at the actual core of the issue here. Would a RevStar yuri fan actually get something out of this stupid VN that doesnt cater to them? Almost all yuri fans say no. If you want to pathetically throw a tantrum because you like wasting people's time and money then consider yourself dismissed.
what does this even do?fun fact:paired ending with the least popular girl is still more picked than paired ending with the most popular guy, looking at achievement numbers.
>>4553371>how gay it is?There's a bit of confusion now due to the usual pissy anon, but he's right when he says that the game doesn't do much in terms of romantic development for the main characters, it's an in-between short story that takes place before the end of the latest movie, so it only really develops side characters, but at least the side pairing is cute. That also doesn't mean it denies or replaces the established pairs, there are the occasional subtexty instances for them that you would expect like the other anon posted, but the 'routes' focus on off-pairing friendships this time around.I'd say go for it only if you're a big fan of the series and want a small side dish while waiting for the next installment, skip otherwise.Pic unrelated.
>>4553516I feel like Magical Princess in general is way more yuri leaning and it's quite obvious to most players too. The main heroine you need some effort to get with is literally the female protag of their previous games. The dudes feel like they were tagged on later, while all the female love interests are important pre-existing characters too.Volcano Princess was way more obviously a game aimed at straight girls, who just also happened to like yuri. There were more male love interests and fujobait in it too. But even in VP, Gwyneth, the queen, was the most picked romance option by a mile.
>>4553517Why are you just repeating what was already said? And I was right about all the things I said. Funny to see you admitting I was right with as much chagrin as possible. Must have really bothered you a lot.
>>4553519annoying retard(you btw)>All the girls you actually care about have zero yuri subtext going on>anon>That also doesn't mean it denies or replaces the established pairs, there are the occasional subtexty instances for them
>>4553520Nobody said pairings got denied or replaced. This shitty game doesnt do anything with them. Same as the anime, which also just ends with them splitting up with zero yuri. This has been said before, but RevStar isnt an actual yuri franchise and this game reflects that pretty well. You are so desperately trying to defend it, but ultimately are powerless to do so, because even you can't pretend this is what RevStar yuri fans wanted.Subtextfags are always the same. Licking the dirt under Bushiroad's boots while being kicked in the face.
>>4553521>proven wrong>moves goalpost and just goes into another rantClassic.
>>4553522Nothing you said has proven me wrong. You are just making up "subtext" because the word is meaningless and can be misused for anything. Two girls talking is subtext to you. Two girls in the same room is subtext to you. It's you who changes goalposts until you can somehow eek out an imaginary shred of self-proclaimed rightness. Classic. Like a Greek comedy.
>>4553516Second sentence.Dates are weighted rng from my understanding.

You'll probably not get repeats, but for Crois I had one, then a new one later as indicated by the skip option. You'll probably get enough points eventually to pick everything you need anyway, like you only really need 1 weapon out of the 3. So try it out.
"Theatrical kisses" have been almost historically used in anime media to show that one or both parties have romantic interest in one another. It's hard to think of an example that was just for shit and giggles, maybe in a full-on comedy. Not like this retard would know since they're one of those morons who only like persona when it comes to anime games. Imagine a persona-obsessed troglodyte trying to write out the rulebook for yuri game discussions.
Aaaand the Atlus schizo is back. It's like all the bad trolls are here for a reunion tour.
Immediately goes defensive. Thanks for proving exactly who you are.
>>4553537Have the (You) that you clearly need to feel accomplished for today. Now shoo.
I wish you people would stop instantly giving people you disagree with titles and acting like they're conspiring against you.Either argue your point with grace and dignity or don't contribute at all, you're never going to win an internet fight, it's just not possible.
>>4553539The thread police/hall monitor schizo has been here for years and will always accuse everyone of being that boogeyman and he will never stop until he gets banned, as he was many times before. It's unfortunate, but true.As for me calling that one guy the Atlus schizo... he exclusively yaps about Persona all the time with no actual connection to any conversation and recently he keeps saying that anybody who he doesn't like is a Persona fan, which is just... schizoid, no? Seems pretty fitting to me.
>>4553535I'm not defending that anon of course, but in the VN the same kiss can happen with four different pairs, three of which have nothing romantic going on, only the one route where it happens between two paired characters has them react with typical subtexty embarrassment in the backstage cutscene.World Dai Star is another example where it was just for show, both girls had different established love interests, and neither thought much of it.
>>4553548I thought about pointing all that out, but then I saw it was the Atlus schizo, so I knew there was no point in engaging him on his terms. This guy will just make up whatever. He doesn't actually care about facts.
>>4553548>not defending him BUTHonestly anon, you deserve the company, I'm not even going to argue about it, enjoy the ego boost you gave him.Wish Magical Princess wasn't this easy, even in my first run I rolled 5* occupations requirements by a lot. Anyone tried getting every girl at the same run? guess I'll try to do that just to boost their ending numbers and to get a funny screenpic of "lovers" with all of them.
>>4553493So is it any good? The art style gives me some Wada Arco vibes to be honest. Maybe it's the eyes.
>>4553559>enjoy the ego boost you gave himI'm not going to compromise on my posts just because some anon with a bad attitude thinks the same, that would make me as silly as the typical politicians who constantly try to discredit their opponents regardless of what they do.The one who's giving him more power is you, not me.
>>4553492Because you can do this with all of the playable characters. God just give up. You don't know fuck about the game and need to feel right.Kill yourself
>>4553567How does this in any form proof that this is supposed to be the "designated love interest"? Where is the dev stating that? That was your argument after all, wasn't it?Not my fault that you assert things without substance based on feelings with nothing to show for it. I get it, you realy really really want this shitpost to mean something, for this random ancient game to be totally a hidden yuri gem or some retarded bullshit, but the truth of the matter is that this game doesn't have real romance and at best features a character who has a light crush on the protagonist regardless of gender. Which is not equatable to romance or even reciprocated feelings. It would have been so easy to just admit that this is some funny trivia about an old game having some implied bislut crush in it due to the devs' laziness, as was the style at the time, but instead you dumbasses always need to take it too far and pretend it's actual yuri. Which either boils down to desperation or just wanting to play an off-topic game and talk about it here.
>>4553567Shush, subtext loving moron.
>enter the yuri game thread>nothing but arguements and subtext sperging everytimethis is by far the worst general on /u/. it's almost /vg/ levels of bad
>>4553630Easily the worst thread in the board, true. Even when there's a new actually relevant game, I don't feel like sticking around much.
Right now Nights of Azure 1&2 are 50% off on Steam so I recommend getting them. Though the lowest I've ever seen NoA1 was -80%. So maybe waiting for the summer sale might also work. For some reason NoA2 is almost never on sale...>>4553648Well, I get it when there is always someone arguing, though that happens in the general discussion thread even more, so you are wrong. But we got new relevant games all the time. People just don't talk much about them, because most probably are stuck with their backlogs.Like look at the news post... we got more than enough content to talk about if people actually wanted to.
>>4553630I know you're making it up because we always got long periods without arguments where things are quiet for days. Strange how you never comment in those times. You only post when an argument happens? Real odd.
>>4553571It's a 24 year old game developed by Enix of course it was gonna have only subtext. I don't like subtext as default but it's a nice bonus >>4553570I'm not reading that, go be a schizo somewhere else
>>4553655>cant read more than one sentenceFine, show proof that the devs designated her as a love interest. Can your little brain handle that?
>>4553650According to SteamDB both NoA1 and 2's lowest discounts were -50%. Squeenix never went lower than that. Although NoA1 has a lower base price, so that's why it is much cheaper at a 50% discount.
>>4553659No :)
>>4553746At least you are honest. Didn't think you'd admit your small brain cant handle it. Good day then.
I like how despite being childhood friends, Cornet when she hires Alice to be her maid, still brainwashes her into accepting 24 hour work days.
>>4553824I mean, all the girls around her are kinda childhood friends and the sort, and she still pushes them 24/7. She's just ruthless. Considering her character, I'm genuinely surprised they let this game's OC daughter swoon her.
>>4553650I got a NoA2 physical copy on PS4 for $20 a few years ago when FUCKING GAMESTOP had it on firesale. Wish I had a NoA1 physical to go with it. Only got that one digitally though.
>>4553858Same I got NoA 1 and 2 and BR 1 and 2 for stupid cheap around the time BR 2 dropped
>>4553652>we sometimes have times where we go more than 5 posts without spazzing out damn, guess i was wrong. this is now the best thread on /u/ and is full of well adjusted posters
You do get wedding CGs in Magical Princess right?I'm trying to figure out why they aren't triggering. My current working theory is that you need the target at The One and all the rest... below lover or something? I can't actually remember how it was on my first run though. But just to be safe, I'm not going to interact with anyone else besides the target.
>>4553908>the targetCommencing operation Marriage. Tango insight. Going dark.
>>4553908Depends on having high morality, It seems. I was lovers with every girl, some of them above 100, and still got the CG.
>>4553937Weird. On my other... runs, I didn't particularly care to keep morality high, just above 30 to take advantage of stress reduction and I didn't have any issues there. But good to know that they do exist. And well, I've more or less exhausted the night in terms of stuff there anyway, so keeping morality high this run should be easy.
Okay, I've collected every ending bar the true end now. And I still need to get the Chocolat end and redo the Crois end because that doesn't have the wedding for some reason, dunno if it's because of Loop 1 or something stupid. One possibility is that it's not just the celibate/partner endings, but that partner endings might also have wedding/no wedding differences. Or it might require you to hit The One, i.e. maxed out, and also have some other requirement, I don't believe it's morality, though I can't remember clearly, but for several of the ends I was basically just keeping it barely above 30 to save church actions. However, I'm not certain because I don't think you can check at the graduation save, and I might have had random shit push up my morality.Something I note, is that it feels like if you don't have magic you're basically second class.Like you'll note there are several of what I would call paired endings, not because they are literally paired, but because they are either polar opposites like Hero/Demon Lord, both of which are 5 stars. Or they are one of the 2 choices from the Academy or Bread Festival.Bread Festival ends are both 4 stars, but the Academy Festival end, the magic one is a 5 star and have Alice become a Grand Sage and go travelling like Elaina. While the sword end is 4 star and have Alice become Cornet's bodyguard... It's clearly unbalanced...
>>4554203>Something I note, is that it feels like if you don't have magic you're basically second class. It's called Magical Princess for a reason.
>>4554206I never really drew the connection, but I did sometimes wonder why it's called that.I didn't think it was literal.
>>4554208Maybe you can be magical and not a princess, but you can't be a princess without magic, regardless of who your parents are.
>>4554211It's probably simpler than that. The strongest rules. And Cornelia is the strongest.
I'm so happy to see Alice getting her deserved wedding(s). Does anybody have more of those two?
>>4554203>>4554206Clearly you have never beheld the power of b a g u e t t e.
>>4554221Lolihag is not a romance option and never will be.Anna may hit Alice butt with a riding crop till she squeaks though.
>>4554228B A G U E T T E Big AssGiantUltraEnormousTitanTitties,eh?
>>4554229>Anne hits AliceNo, Mary owns Anne. I know it, I just can't proof it yet. So gather some material for me, pretty please? I fully trust you are up for the job.
>>4554232All I know is that Mary somehow knows that Anne owns a stuffed animal plush and is hiding it in her room.
>>4554233I know. And I want to know why she knows. This is a secret that tickles my mind. And maybe it's one of hers. And Anne sometimes binds it with twine to indicate to Mary how she wants to be treated later that night. This has great potential.
>>4551485that's correct! i ended up with infinite loading screens regardless of combinations, so i just gave up. i can play P3P and date Mitsuru instead.
>>4551485How rigid must the game be that a simple pronoun correction here and there breaks it? What is it with Japan and modding?
>>4554289>>4554293Atlus uses a very specific coding method with a special assortment of files. Fans decrypted it all and have made tools that easily read and decompile those files. However, the way you alter the files affects how they influence the game and what has priority. The she/her pronoun mod edits the same files that the Rose&Violet mod rewrites. Whichever mod is thus at higher priority overwrites the other in this case.I have no idea what bullshit you did to get infinite loading screens, that's just you being bad at configuring the mods exactly how the instructions said probably. Maybe try playing it without the pronouns mod first...
>>4554228Oh right. I never really tried that because I only got it on my first run when I was young and dumb.Chainsaw better though right?>>4554232Anne likes cute things.Mary is cute.QED
>>4554311Hear ye, Hear ye. Fool proof argumentation. This begs the question what started before? Her like for cute things or for Mary? Maybe Mary wormed her through Anne's stoic front with cute little presents. Or Anne was drawn to Mary from the moment she laid eyes on her. I'd like a combination of both.
>>4552437and I do like the design for the LIs in Magical Princess more than Moon Princess
>>4554497That much I agree with. I also prefer Alice over the Moon Princess daughter, visually anyway. In general I hate the wuxia theme, but I trust Egg Hatcher to make it up to me with gameplay and writing. Magical Princess is a bit too reliant on franchise lore to me, but I like how yuri pairings are clearly favored in it.
Wasn't there some news about Stardew Valley getting a new bachelorette? So did that end up happening?
>>4552437So where do I get apples? I've tried everywhere and have apparently gotten unlucky
>>4554558Farming or canteen/tavern.
>>4554548Yeah, it's Sandy, the lass from the oasis shop. The 1.7 patch is still in the works though.
>>4554611Oh I just read the news post on Steam. Sandra and Clint. And even the devs know nobody cares about Clint.Honestly there have been datable Sandra mods for so long that it barely feels like a new addition. I wonder if the mods will actually have better interactions. That's gonna be an interesting situation.
>>4554499How do you even get to know the lore when the tabletop games are seemingly physical only and either sold out or run a quite high aftermarket price?
>>4554768You get the general outline of it from the steam post they made. The rest you can pickup from the game.Like while a tabletop player should know what Mysterious Powder is from the beginning, you'll know what it is at the end.Not to say there isn't stuff that isn't explained at all. Well, I haven't done the true ending yet, but so far they haven't yet explained where Cornet's divine power comes from.Otherwise most of the important stuff is more or less mentioned.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/3541340/Your_Crown_Is_Mine/Your Crown Is Mine released. It also has stat management and choices, but it's closer to a VN. Protag is a bislut, but there are some good yuri options.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1448620/BE_Witches/why isnt this on the list
>>4554806What list? Hella Yuri? She cant notice every game. Just message her about it.But this just looks like a breast expansion fetish game with no real yuri content...
>>4554810its females only
>>4554812And? I said it doesnt look like it has yuri content.
https://futotori.itch.io/with-her-and-the-skyNew release, about a human princess and a sphinx. It's short, sweet, pay what you want, and doesn't have any forced het. (More detail: the princess has a bodyguard who is implied to have a crush on her, but you can snub him at every opportunity with no consequences, as far as I can tell.)Would recommend for those who like monster girl yuri.
>>4554804Second half (the part after you win the election, so like a few scenes past the demo) is clearly rushed as it seems the author got a new vn idea midway through, but it's still decent enough webtoon-inspired junk food. Bonus points for the two yuri options clearly being favored, with one of them being the main political mover and shaker and the other having a clear crush on the MC from day one, while one of the dudes nearly completely disappears in the second half if you go out of your way to interact with him.
>>4554654If you ask me, they should just make the Stardew Valley Expanded mod part of the main game.
>>4554806>>4554812A game needs to have unambiguous female/female romance to get on the Hella Yuri list.
>>4554877It really is hard to imagine playing the game without it these days.
>>4554875In fact that is what happened. The dev is alreasy halfway through finishing a VN about Mermaids. That one will also have yuri.
I'm about to do the Magical Princess Golden Ending, the one after the True Ending where you join hands with Cornet for the True Ending, aka the Cornet end.So what I'm wondering is as the True Ending has an obvious partner, i.e. they force Cornet on you. Whether the Golden End is the opposite? I've seen spoilers on it, like how if you do it that basically ends that loop. Is it a flying solo loop? I'm wondering if I should pick someone for that loop, or full focus stats.
Can someone give a short review of Hades 2 but yuri
>>4555274It's not. End.
>>45552742 yuri options. Nemesis is great. Eris is crazy.
>>4555275>>4555365One who tells lies, one who tells truths. If you choose wrong it will spell your doom
>>4555546
>>4555546That doesnt even rhyme you bum
>>4555546Oh look, it's Kairos Fateweaver.
Are the Nurse Love VNs any good? Which one should I get if I get one?
>>4555561Thought one of his heads saw the past and the other the future, but what he wanted was to see the present.
>>4555570They are really good, I personally liked Addiction more.
>>4555573One head is also lying while one is saying the truth.
>>4555570They are both separate stories but I hear addiction is the better one
I barely saw anyone talk about Raining City Millions Recollections compared to Chrono Jotter. Was it not as good?
>>4555682I enjoyed it, but it was all of the problems of chrono Jotter dialed up to 11. There is a mystery throughout the game that is wholey explained in the last like 10 minutes with an exposition dump. It seems like the dev's process is to come up with an elaborate plot. Then, during the dev process, remember he doesn't have infinite resources and end the story half way through what it was supposed to be.On the bright side, there is a hot labcoat smoker lady who is teased to be in a Chrono Jotter sequel after the credits
>>4555689Smoking labcoats? In this economy?
>>4555570Syndrome if you like good story-telling. Addiction if you like insanity and twists. Both is better.
>>4550733I’m inclined to agree. Put simply, All the het you see in mainstream games- replace it with yuri and they get so much better. But we won’t see yuri games like that for the same reasons we never see yuri anime. It’s just not profitable enough. I’m a yurifag who happens to enjoy gaming, so all the things which make a game better— graphics, gameplay, characters, etc. likewise make the yuri better for me (mind, the lack of these doesn’t erase the yuri). Yuri VN are just that, visual *novels*, they have no gameplay and it is essentially just reading a novel. They’re just less costly to make so they’re more common. I already read plentiful manga and light novels so i for one would prefer yuri with decent gameplay once in a while.
>>4555792Did you really go back to a weeks old post to feed a troll? What a waste of oxygen.
>>4555792We are basically stuck with big RPGs with character creators if we want real games Which is also why while I have high hopes for Divinity, Cyberpunk 2, and a few other titles in the upcoming years, the game I am anticipating the most is Witcher 4 since it has a true FeMC, and the little teaser they showed included a brief moment of prostitutes coming up to her.
>>4555781>>4555576>>4555658I decided I'll try, i got both and will simply read in release order. thank you!
>>4554875I'm liking this recent trend of games that give you bi options favoring the yuri ones. It's pretty rare. Usually it's Otome games where the yuri option is tagged on. So seeing Magical Princess and Your Crown Is Mine having yuri main heroines is nice.
>MixtapeIs this game yuri? Or have yuri in it? Seems like it.
If I have one complaint about Magical Princess, it's that viewing multiple job endings is a pain in the ass. You have to sit through the entire ending up until the start of the next playthrough since there's no place to bring up the menu during the entire ending
>>4556198timing it, it comes out to 90 seconds of just skipping text per run. I got 9 endings on my first run, so that adds up to 12 minutes of unnecessarily skipping text
>>4556199Shouldn't have done it on the first run. Future one's snip off a lot of the shit.True end even snips off the spinny thing that's unskippable, so it's actually worth doing it even if you aren't going to pick that ending.
For one of the endings of Magical Princess I like how the NEET loner ending gives you the No Partner ending even if you meet the requirements.
>>4556204Nobody loves a NEET. Despite what shut-in loser protagonist anime are trying to pretend lately.
Are you gals excited for this? Two weeks awayhttps://store.steampowered.com/app/4142570/Evil_Girls_Party/
>>4556264Futa and tentacle shit. Not relevant.
>>4556181It does have the tagline "Hang out. Sneak out. Make out.", but there is no indication whether that is with girls or... m*les. Though you could just read the reviews and find out.
>>4556181If I recall there was a scene in trailer where MC kisses a dude so rather not.
>>4556181I figured it might before release but since it looks like one of the 3 MCs is a dude and nobody has posted about it I just assume it's fully het.No, of course I'm not going to buy it and check myself, I have better things to do.
>>4556321They're all girls but it hardly matters. Like anon said, the trailer showed a het kiss.
With how close those two used to be, it almost makes me want to ship her with the queen instead of Alice.
>>4556324Looking at reviews it is a fixed story, and the kiss is in trailer, so I wonder if you can somehow influence the events and decide who MC kisses or not.The game is just above few hours in lenght, so maybe I'm gonna give it a try, it's cheap anyway.
>>4556264>futaI can't read ching chong nippon. Where is proof?>tentacles. Not relevantYour face is not relevant.
>>4556482I got so mad at the accusations I quoted wrong. This was meant for >>4556266
>>4556482You are kind of a retard, aren't you? Just go to the publisher's goddamn site and look at the game's description. I am not posting "proof" here, because unlike you I dont post futa games. It is literally described as a game where the protagonist grows a dick to have sex with her female party members and they get tentacle raped in the dungeons. Now kill yourself for pretending you can feign ignorance.
I've been trying to play We are OFK but Jesus Christ everyone in it is so LA millennial coded and insufferable that I don't think I can continue to play it in hopes that it might get better. Genuinely awful experience.
>>4556487>Jesus Christ>muh millenialsEw
>>4556486Google translation doesn't mention pp on funny squiggles. And yeah, I'm that kind of retard, Takes one to know one.
>>4556493You are the kind of idiot who goes to the Steam page and translates it to find the description for the porn content you can only find on the publisher's site. A true humongous dumbass.I'm not going to that site to screenshot that shit either, because the publisher literally only releases het NTR and rape games. This was their one outlier and they tagged this shit yuri and despite being futanari, showing they have literally no idea what yuri is.
>>4556495On top of the publisher being what t is, the dev's only other Steam relase is also a futa game (which also has het rape in it). There are literally screenshots of the futa sex and tentacle rape on the website. This is picking fruit from a tree that has fallen over and rotted sixty years ago.
>>4556495>>4556496I hate you both for pointing me the truth. Please Almighty devs, just once bless us with a good Necromancer story.
>>4556500Instead if deluding yourself into playing shitty RPGmaker porn games aimed at incel males, just ask next time.https://store.steampowered.com/app/1315320/The_Necromancers_Tale/This is literally a game entirely focused on a Necromancer (who can be female) and who can romance women. Though this is a story about necromancy, so obviously it won't turn out well, narratively speaking. The writing, character development and town mechanics are very good though. The combat is a bit lacking, but you can't have it all.
>>4556501>obviously it won't turn out well, narratively speaking.I wished for a good game. There is a enough literal heartbreak for Necromancers. But I do appreciate the recommendation. I think I always eyed that one but because it had a male on the front I lost interest quickly even though it got recommended a few times here. Now the price tag seems juicy but worthy.
>>455650720 bucks is not a juicy price tag. But if you have any patience, summer sale is right around the corner. Chances are pretty high this game will go on sale then too.
>>4556510>20 bucks is not a juicy price tag. Please do not mind the tears of the poor or the financially crippled. If the SteamDB holds true it should be starting on 25 June. I can't wait for sale anonette (yes, this is how you will be remembered in history) to post it in the sale selection.
>>4556181>MixtapeI am very sad to say this game is not /u/ at all. Both female MCs express interest in boys and have been in several implied male relationships in the past including sexual. The one male MC is also straight if anyone cares. There's one goggle-able scene between the two female MCs and that's it.
>>4556520Good to know, won't buy it then.
>>4556520Damn shame, I'm sorry if you had to go through that. Bless your willingness to take a hit for us.
>>4556335Think this was one of the thing that they never really expanded on in the game.Missed opportunity imo.
>>455651120 bucks is a very low price for a long and quality game. If that is a high price for you, then you clearly shouldn't be wasting money on games. Just pirate them then to save the money for more important things.
>>4556555Sorry, Satan. Ya shall not find any foothold on this soul. This soul will provide a legitimate purchase soon.
>>4556556Your Christian cultist act isn't cute anon. Keep your anti-lesbian religion outta here.
>>4556557>anti-lesbian religionGod was the first recorded Necromancer ever. So pls Satan, calm your tits. Or this soul will purchase the necessary code to activate the ability to play God's favourite class with yuri rendition but adding it to the the huge backlog of yuri games atm.
>>4556563Autism this advanced belongs in an art museum. It's almost fascinating to look at.Oh and by the way, there plenty of stories of ressurection by various religions and cultures before any of the Abrahamic ones. Maybe study some mythology.
>>4556565And here we see Satan taking a step back. The wallet is saved once more. God's Grace protects us once from a rushed purchase. Praise Mado-kamisama. Homo Homu.
>>4556520did you really buy this? could have waited a day and skimmed through a youtube playthroughunless you secretly wanted to play this after all...
>>4556567You can't even use the term "goddess", so you clearly aren't bright enough to make smart purchases anyway.
Why is there no Pragmata yuri content whatsoever? Why is everyone catering to pedophilic m*le creeps instead of wholesome women with strong maternal instincts like Itou8?
>>4556659If Pragmata actually catered to male pedophiles it wouldn't be a success. This is one of those times the male incels can pretend to be dads, which they will never be in real life. That usually gives a big sales boost. As for OneeLoli content, where the hell are you going to pull the woman from that you need for that? If you say Genderband the male protag, you are part of the problem. If you just want generic women assaulting the loli in art, your standards are on the same level as het rape artists. Have some class. Itou Hachi actually draws romance not brainless rape.
>>4556204The funny part for me is how her parents look at that and goes. "It's fine."
>>4556685Who gives a shit?
>>4556701No. Only you started defending male protag games and bringing in irrelevant shit about sales numbers. The adults here were talking about OneeLoli.
>>4556702Sale numbers drives product creation.
>>4556704There are plenty of well selling games with yuri in them. There are also lots of budget games that were cheaper to make and thus get a profit with smaller customer bases. Just stop talking about things you don't understand for the very obvious attempt to defend non-yuri shit. Get out.
>>4556652I did buy it because I did want to play it. I was hoping it would be /u/, in fact I was hoping it would be LiS adjacent. It didn't turn out to be the case but it was still fun for the vibes.
>>4556557>anti-lesbian religionTechnically the bible never says anything about lesbian relationships being bad...
>>4556735The cult considers homosexuality wrong. The bible isn't the only thing making that regressive strain of humanity bad. The irony of so much yuri being set in Christian themed all girls schools isn't passing me by, but the point is usually that the "purest" maidens will engage in something immoral like dating other girls. Because blah blah taboos are exciting etc.It may be fun in sanitized romance manga, but let's keep religious zealots away from this board.
I'm impressed with Magical Princess so far. Croix cracks me up.What's everyone's favorite pairing?
>>4556813Mary x Anne.
>>4556813It's basic but Alice x Cornet is very much my thing>super tryhard managing a kingdom, its underworld, a time loop>but in her spare time even likes cuddling the one she likesMeanwhile, I was getting done with the third run, and I found it funny that as soon as I unlocked that true ending thing, I actually managed to beat it, around halfway through the second year. I guess seeing how fast you can beat it could be a fun challenge, first year probably possible.
Magical Princess selling over a million copies within like 2 weeks was pretty nice. Shows that yuri focused works can easily compete as long as they are good.>>4556985Can't really go wrong with the main heroine. The duality of her old Cornet personality and the harsh Cornellia mantle is quite good.
>>4557018Where do you get a million? I assume those are not on steam? The news post mentioned 200k 2 days ago.Otherwise I agree though.>>4556985Two Queens or the one after that?I did get enough points to get the headstart on stats after my first run. But not any of the other fun toys.
>>4557079The one after, for the first one you have to get to the final blood moon anyway, no way to speedrun that.
>>4557083Ah. Still haven't done that one yet. I'm stalling because I've heard it's hard.
>>4555843I'm praying for a hot female love interest for Ciri. Think Yennefer, not Judy.
>>4557181
>>4556660Not everyone has their heads up their asses regarding the loli porn they read.
I was talking with an anon about an RF game a couple threads back, was it Guardians of Azuma? The one with villager automation for farming and stuff.I see that's the only one mentioned by Hella Yuri, so I'm not looking at the wrong game right?
>>4556735>Biblehetslop, disregard it
>>4557181I want a hot female love interest for Ciri with baggage.Like a lot of baggage. The kind baggage that drags Ciri into violent shitstorms, political meltdowns and personal turmoils. And since you used Cyberpunk as an example, think Songbird
>>4557191Hella Yuri lists both RF5 and GoA though. And yes the one you talk about is GoA.
>>4557203Thanks.And I'm not seeing the curator on the RF5 page. I went through https://store.steampowered.com/franchise/runefactory to check all of them.GoA does have it though.Well, whatever, I'm looking for something more relaxing anyway. Though I'm mainly picking it up now because it's on discount.I'm just hoping it's not as annoying as the ingredient sorting for alchemy in Atelier Sophie. I picked up the whole series but got burnt out after the first game. UI being shit didn't help.
Heh. Can't play GoA anyway. Because I have reasons that I don't want to mess with my graphics driver and it's outdated...Guess I'll put it on hold for a bit.
just found out that stupid mixtape game anon played got a 10/10 from ign reviewnow im genuinely disappointed that such (allegedly) good game dont have any yuri options
>>4557242>10/10 from ign reviewThey have never been more worthless. Saying it's a good game from this makes no sense.
>>4557242Nobody cares.
>>4557235If you got several curators you are subscribed to, you need to insert the clan id of the curator you want to see sometimes. Though for me it just shows up normally.
>>4557365I did add another curator this year. Though I've never ran into this issue. But anyway, is RF5 worth it? Like while it is relatively cheap, looking at the reviews make it seem not particularly promising. More specifically it looks like it has a bunch of QoL issues that would make it a pain to play.Or should I just wait until I can play GoA and spare myself the pain?
>>4557401A lot of the displeasure with 5 came from the jump we made from 4/4S, which is usually considered the fan-favorite of the series. 5 lacked a lot of 4's complexity and nuance, among many other things. Moreover, it was the developers' first real dive into 3D, so yes, it suffers from some performance problems. It was also reportedly released somewhat prematurely, which is what I think gets attributed to its comparative lack of content, but don't quote me on that one as I'm unaware of many of the details. Personally, I would describe 5 as "benign." It isn't particularly bad, but it's not great, either. I'd argue that, while GoA's overall experience is more fleshed out than 5, 5 isn't bad enough to outright avoid. If you're just looking for something simple, it's probably not a bad choice. For what it's worth, I did more or less enjoy most of my time playing it, even with its numerous drawbacks. Some of the QoL stuff you mention can reportedly be addressed with mods, as well, though I confess I haven't tried any of them.
AC Hexe leaks trickling out. Hope real reveal and confirmation of romance (if any) soon
>>4557489I feel like goa also sperated the series more from "SoS but with combat" There are things I would love to see more of from GoA in a mainline entry
>>4557365Not that anonBut for some reason my steam keeps unsubscribing me from Hella Yuri. It's happened 3 times now.
>>4557489It is cheap enough to gamble on. Though I'm also assuming the yuri is good enough so I didn't bother asking.Otoh I looked at ram prices for my next PC... I used to double every time I get a new one, but 64GB is so fucking expensive so I'm also considering going a little austere at the time.Sale does last for a week more, so at least I have some time to think it over.Or I can play my backlog and wait for summer sale which might be deeper. Which speaking of, maybe I should refund GoA for now since I can't even play it anyway and buy it again later. Not like they'll delist it or anything. Right?
>>4557524Maybe you got really slippery fingers.
>>4557564Will you stop using spoiler tags for no goddamn reason already?
I've added the Linkle mods for the Zelda games to the list.
>>4557701Uhm.... how is this gonna turn them yuri? Outside of Skyward Sword, none of the Links are in romantic relationships. Maybe you can goggle Wind Waker/Spirit Tracks Link with Zelda, but that's kind of a stretch too.
>>4557701Thanks anon I appreciate it
>>4557701I'm thankful for any contributions of course, but from what I can see only Ocarina of Time got an actual lesbian mod here? I can see where the confusion comes from, as a lot of the mods on the paste do in fact change male protagonists to female ones. This can often automatically lead to yuri developments if those games feature romance. However, the Legend of Zelda series is not particularly geared towards that from what I remember playing most of the older ones. Please correct me if I'm wrong of course, I want to hash out what is actually worth keeping for the main paste.Breath of the Wild: I haven't played this one myself, but I remember seeing that Link has a somewhat intimate relationship with Zelda once she joins him on the journey? So this may be relevant with the Linkle mod.Ocarina of Time:This one I'm more familiar with. There are some implications with several girls, Ruto being the most openly romantically interested Link. However due to the game's plot, Link misses any chance to actually be with any of these girls. Zelda especially barely factors in outside of a couple meetings. The lesbian Ruto thing is nice, but perhaps not really enough.Twilight Princess:The most romantic thing here to me is the childhood friend Link has at the starting village, but that doesn't really get explored. This just isn't a particularly romantic game. So it definitely isn't relevant.Skyward Sword:Linlk and Zelda are clearly a couple in this one and it actually explores their dynamic with each other, so this one is definitely worth keeping.Wind Waker:The "Zelda" in this game ends up going with Link and has some chemistry and is kind of a tsundere? But it never went that romancey... outside of the handheld sequels, which aren't included in your additions. So not especially relevant.Space on the paste is already limited, so I would like to stick to entries that will actually add yuri to games (extra QoL mods for those entries are of course fine).
>>4557702Twilight Princess has Ilia and Midna as potential love interests. With the latter actually getting a big smooch in the manga adaptation.
>>4557726Keyword here being "potential", no? There isn't actually anything going on. Perhaps if one is deeply into LoZ shipping culture, this would sort of make sense, but if you are into a het shipping culture just to flip the gender of the male part to turn it yuri via transient property, it might be a bit too meta to really make sense for a yuri mod list.
>>4557730Then by that logic, you can skip it all. Because even Skyward Sword isn't really explicit.
>>4557731Isn't it? I'm pretty sure SS is more than comfortable with making clear Link and Zelda are a couple in it. It's considered the most romantic depiction of their relationship at least.Ocarina of Time's whole dramatic irony is that Link skips his childhood and thus misses all chances for actual relationships. And then he gets reset to childhood and just wanders straight into Majora's Maks bullshit.I'm trying to compromise here, but it is true that these additions may not really be worth keeping around.
>>4557721I think Windwaker Link and Zelda are confirmed by word of god. But it's not a lot. To me none of these are really yuri mods desu
>>4557730There is nothing going onIt's just the wannabe janny pushing these modded games that were never yuri, same with Persona
>>4557933Why are you so schizoid anon? Always autistically assuming everyone is the same person is one of the worst mental illnesses. You have accused literally everyone of being your boogeyman by now. This was some random guy adding mods without really understanding the purpose of the paste that well. It was so nice when you were banned for a few days and we didnt have to see your schizo takes...
>>4549912>>4557701To put this discussion to rest for now...I have changed it to a "series" category, instead of individual entries and trimmed it down to just Ocarina of Time and Skyward Sword. I added those to the main paste for now.Again, I am thankful for anyone who contributes to the paste. And I think the mods you shared are all very nice. It's just that most of these are too little to truly be considered yuri relevant. For now. Maybe someone will eventually do more with the games that will change everything.
>>4549911>Distant Oceanic Getaway releases April 30th (yuri VN)So turns out this one didn't have a translation to English unfortunately. Steam devs translating only their game pages really throws me off every time.
>>4558028Is there any reason they do that? Like TLs planned or something?I swear I've seen completely untranslated pages before, so I doubt it's a Steam thing.
>>4558071Actually yeah Steam requires a translated game page if you wanna be visible on the international store. There are purely Japanese games you can only access from the JP Steam link for example.
>>4558073I thought https://store.steampowered.com/app/3101040/Magical_Girl_Witch_Trials/ wasn't translated. But I see the short description at the top is.And I guess the mature content warning.
>>4558082Are you really that desperate to post this off-topic game that you had to add the link?
>>4558083Do you ever get tired of shitting up the thread?
>>4558118Ask the guy who constantly posts non-yuri games.
Do we retroactively hate Blue reflection now for what it turned into, despite endorsing it in the past for being yuri? Kinda like what happened to Neptunia (and VD to a lesser extent) since they both had het spin-offs
>>4558133Nobody thought Blue Reflection was yuri.Second Light is. I guess the Ray anime was sort of subtexty too... But it was always basically just one game that was recommended. Anon were regularly told they are idiots for buying or playing the first game. >NeptuniaHas always been a punching bag for its lack of yuri commitment.>VDThat was an actual yuri series and died the moment that hetshit spin-off happened, so I think it got what it deserved. No reason not to recommend Bhikkuni tho.
>>4558133Sun existing doesn’t invalidate the first two games, but it’s a shitty move to include it in a pack. Always assumed the self insert was DMM mandate or something but apparently it was always Kishida’s intention to ram it down people’s throats.Pure bullshit that out of all the EoS’d mobile games, THAT gets to be resurrected as a console game.
>>4558133I never liked BR because of everyone looking like stick figures.
