Lara won't have "she's like family to me" feelings because she literally already has important family to her, and Lara's issue has never been "she needs to find out true love is about friendship" like she makes friends just time. She's the most friendly and outgoing person in the cast, frankly. And in the trailer we hear a confess of love (aishiteru I think, but not sure), so that has to come up and be important, given how it was portrayed. The most likely negative ending is Lara dying, but I'm not worried about the romance.
