Man after finishing Himeko's story you can really feel how bad the rewrites are. For a character from Planarcadia her story doesn't really make her feel connected to that planet. Sparkle and Eva had the same issues. It seems all the Japanese characters stories have to involve the school, since its the only Japanese looking location in the whole area. There's next to nothing connecting them to specifically Planarcadia. Considering how connected past characters were to their respective planet it really makes the issues with Planarcadia so much more noticeable in these characters parts.

HSR does a terrible job at giving the universe scale. They treat the universe as if its 1 state and traveling from Penacony to Planarcadia his like going from 1 town to the next. I honestly feel like Genshin gives the regions a grander sense of scale and distance than HSR does for its planets. Hell even going to the moon felt like a big deal.Your space travel story loses its impact when you don't make traveling in space feel like a major deal. It should be treated like a major deal seeing old characters again. Yet the game writes it as if seeing Tingyun on a planet thousands of miles away from her home planet is no big deal.

Honkai Impact once again makes you play girlfriends together. Yuri as a gameplay mechanic, I love it.Apparently the Entropy Herrscher suit in 9.1 gets special buffs if you play her with Sena as her AstralOp, but also if you support her with both Coralie and Helia, both of them have to be on the team together.Senadina will unlock some buffs as well in 9.1 which just trigger if she's your AstralOp for a team with Entropy in it.My first impression is that it's all less pronounced than the Bronseele or Kiamei buffs that came before, but it continues this design and let's be real with GGZ before it, there's now more than 10 years of Kiamei and Bronseele after all.It's something. I like Corelia.

Wings of Panacea for example, the new Seele suit, has mechanics that require Bronya to be on her team. She harmonizes perfectly with Nex' kit upgrade in her divine key, but if any other girl got the same kit, both of them would be weaker since a different girl isn't Bronya.
