It's interesting how G-Witch avoids doing stuff like having Suletta carry Miorine or protect her physically (and the one time she did, there were complications). It's like they wanted to avoid making Suletta the boy and Miorine the girl, so to say. The way Suletta gives Miorine care is mostly emotional.

More like the school setting was a very sheltered environment where Suletta didn't have to (physically) protect Miorine, aside from episode 1. They were separated during S2 and Miorine didn't need protection. Regardless of the gender roles shit, they protect each other in ther very own way.
