Checked the feed and saw Magical Girl Narco Wars ended with a "I got axed" sounding chapter title.I guess it ended without any yuri like a certain other tactical mahou shoujo series.
>>4596109>it ended without any yuri like a certain other tactical mahou shoujo series.
>>4596109>Magical Girl Narco WarsThought it was Exceeds at first, but the title applies to Asuka too.Either way, Exceeds is a prequel to the anime and Asuka ended properly if I recall.
>>4596109>"I got axed" sounding chapter title.I doubt it got axed it just ended in a good note. The author wanted to do something else but I feel like he's considering an Asuka sequel when his Hitman/Succubus ends.

https://bibibi-comic.com/The studio that made the Cosmic Princess Kaguya movie launched an online manga magazine. They will accept pretty much any mangaka as long as the story is interesting and they don't follow industry standards, so there might be some really unique stuff coming out of this. No stupid editors that force them to follow popular trends or anything. The ultimate goal of this magazine is to create original works that can be turned into movies which is a very unusual approach to say the least.Considering how yuri CPK was, I am looking forward to more potential yuri titles. The canon spin-off Chou Kaguya Meshi! is available in that magazine, but there is also this which is tagged Yuri/GL:https://bibibi-comic.com/series/e889bd092d08dIt's called のライラ (The Secret Lily)It's pretty horny though, which sure is a contrast from the hyper chaste CPK.
>>4596109Did War Nurse ever get laid?

I guess this wasn't brought up here before because it has some het pages but 1. the het pages are meant to feel utterly miserable 2. it's really really good https://exhentai.org/g/3902980/938bc55b5b/https://www.dlsite.com/maniax/work/=/product_id/RJ01603958.html
>>4596211Stop posting hetshit on /u/, fucking troll.
>>4596211I don't need het misery in my doujins, thanks. It could have been implied or just verbalized. No need to show it.
>>4596213I'm not trolling, I posted it in case someone might like it. I doubt everyone here hates, say, Utena even though it has similar elements.
>>4596213Why does a yuri doujin having a few het pages marks it as het, yet a het doujin having a few yuri pages doesn't mark it as yuri?
>>4596221Don't feed the troll.
>>4596221Because het is an all-corrupting force of evil. Some yuri cannot cancel it out, but a drop of het can spoil a whole gallon of pure water.
>>4596227So basically, yuri is weak and frail, while het is powerful and unstoppable.Very interesting opinion right there.
>>4596227>>4596230It's the girly soap opera drama smut version of bad guys in Violence Jack or Daimajin or whatever doing graphically horrible things so that when the protagonist slaughters them it feels better, except it's "I'm having an absolutely horrible time with my piece of shit husband so when the hot muscular but caring delivery lady sweeps me off my feet it feels better"
>>4596231Poison is strong, even if it's nothing you need to engage with. You wouldnt put poison into your food and then say the food is frail for not canceling it out, would you?
>>4596232She literally has a child. And you still dont need to see that crap to understand it. Disgusting.
>>4596233I would put poison in my food to develop immunity over time. You shouldn't avoid bad things, you should absorb them to grow stronger. If something harms you, it's your fault for being weak.
>>4596235Why are you calling me a troll for saying het is bad? Sounds like something a troll would do.
>>4596237Poison resistance doesn't work like that and is a strenuously relevant concept here. When I eat dinner I don't want to be poisoned. I don't need poison resistance, because I am not going to eat poison. It's not that complicated.
>>4596235There is no genre called "bishit", and if there was, it would be about bisexual polyamorous relationships, rather than a yuri or het relationship that just happens to feature infidelity with the other sex.If a story is focused on the relationship between girls, then it's yuri, het scenes be damned.
>>4596218>I doubt everyone here hates, say, UtenaYeah, we got that you're not from here.>>4596221Because if there's het it's not yuri, it's bishit. You've been told one million times, stop trolling.>>4596238Wrong quote, sorry.
>>4596241>Poison resistance doesn't work like thatHow does it work then?>I don't need poison resistanceYes, you do, because poison is everywhere in the world and you're gonna eat it sooner or later. Better to be stronger than to be weak.
>>4596233>>4596237>>4596241>>4596236>food analogy
>>4596028There is a café that is yuri focused and has yuri books to read called yuri café anchor
>>4596246This is merely your opinion, and it's not a very logical one. Yuri doesn't stop being yuri because it includes elements that trigger your retarded ass.
>>4596248Poison analogy, actually. Keep up.
>>4596252That mindset is a slippery slope though. There is a gradient between "This girl in a yuri manga has dated a man before, but it never comes up or get shown" and "FFM thressome". Yet in both cases you could make your claim... that yuri doesnt stop being yuri just because of het involvement, That is very bad.
>>4596254I didn't post that, I'm just pointing out your retarded double standards. If random yuri scenes don't make a story yuri, then random het scenes don't make a story hetshit, that is the logical conclusion.
>>4596258It's useless to talk with the troll, don't you get he only wants to post het and never misses a chance to defend any degree of het, from boyfriends to het sex on screen?
>>4596246>you're not from hereHey remember when people here namefagged with color-coding? Remember "Blue"? Remember that "slashuslash" forum? Remember Mike Inel melting down over people here pirating his Mai-Otome fangame (which he shouldn't have been making money off of to begin with)? Remember when constant relationship advice threads plagued the board? Remember "Goddess of White"?
>>4596261They aren't random, they're constant. And any more het than nothing is too many, and not yuri.
>>4596258>That mindset is a slippery slopeIt's not.>Yet in both cases you could make your claim... that yuri doesnt stop being yuri just because of het involvementThis however, is a slippery slope. There is a vast diference between a bi girl cheating on her boyfriend and an FFM threesome. The former is yuri because it's focused on the relationship between the girls, the latter is bisexual. This is common sense and something I already mentioned.
>>4596266>they're constant. They're not. A handful of pages on a 40+ pages book doesn't make it "constant".>And any more het than nothing is too manyAgain, this is your opinion, which is not universal.

>>4596268I think it's common sense that not showing a bislut fucking a man is probably the way to go in a yuri manga. Dumbass.
>>4596272How are you sperging out here and on the recent release thread?
>>4596273You may dislike the het sex being shown on screen, and that's perfectly reasonable, but it's not reasonable to classify the whole thing as "hetshit" because of it. That is simply not logical because it operates on a double standard.

>>4596278Showing literal hetshit makes it not a proper yuri work. It's not completely hetshit, but it certainly doesn't belong into the yuri genre or anywhere near a yuri fan.
>>4596285>Showing literal hetshit makes it not a proper yuri work. Why not? After all, showing yuri in a het story does not preclude it from being a het story, so why would the opposite be true?>it certainly doesn't belong into the yuri genre or anywhere near a yuri fan. This is merely your opinion, not a universal truth of the genre. After all, the author is a yuri fan too and clearly didn't think the same as you, since she made it with the clear intent of it being a story in the yuri genre.
>>4596289A bislut or hetshitter who draws yuri and hetshit at the same time is not a proper yuri fan. And I'm not gonna repeat myself on why het is poison and you cannot equate the two scenarios.

>>4596297If you don't like a single manga, one-shot, ANYTHING by a "bislut" you have severely limited taste.
>>4596269Yuri being about girls, and not het, is not an opinion.

From an objective standpoint, there's no reason why yuri should have certain standards that het doesn't.
>>4596299Including something and being about something are completely different. Hence why you wouldn't consider het doujins with random yuri scenes as yuri. There has to be a predominant focus on the element, not simply having it.

We should be better than that.
>>4596335How should we react to people posting het on /u/, then? Let it be? Pretend it's totally yuri when girls have sex with males, or have boyfriends?
>>4596337Not all yuri is gonna be to your liking. Some yuri has het, and if you don't like it that's okay, but you can't force your opinion that it's not yuri on the board.>Pretend it's totally yuri when girls have sex with males, or have boyfriends?Nobody is saying this. >>4596211I would argue that it's borderline, but still acceptable to post if properly marked. The plot is a pretty standard lesbian fantasy for a woman stuck in a shitty het marriage, and there's a million lesbian romance novels with some variation on this. The perfect woman shows up on your doorstep, sweeps you off your feet, gives you great sex, and helps you take care of your kid. Not "pure" and not to everyones' taste but definitely yuri.

>>4596416So what's the proportion of het sex scenes can a "yuri" series have before it's not yuri anymore? 12%? 20%? It's totally not a slippery slope.
>>4596423I'd say 50% or more. Half or over half of the work being het feels reasonable to exclude even if it ends in yuri, as het would be most of the focus regardless and that's a fuck up. Any less than that, and by definition most of the work is yuri

It's 3deep5you and it's relatively short but it nevertheless had things that drew me into yuri in the first place, so, big thumbs up. Hope this team gets some additional funding/kickstarter in the future too.

Why was Svetlana mysteriously absent from this weeks grow up show episode? Felt like they went out of their way to not include herAlso i don't like Maria's throwaway comment "at first i thought you were having a tryste with a man, so i looked the other way" because it goes against my headcanon of Maria and Rin being a couple. Oh well
>Maria is 29 years oldDamn, pituitary gland damage sure can fuck one up.
>>4596508>>4596524>>4596534It's annoying how the film got age restricted in under 3 hours after it came out. I was able to download the video, but I couldn't any subtitle downloader site working, so I ended up having to log into youtube to watch it. I wonder if they're gonna upload it anywhere else.as for the film itself. It's only 15 minutes, but It ended a lot happier than i was worried about. No one got eaten, though there is that moment at the end where the siren pulls the MC towards her in the ocean and opens her mouth. It makes you feel like they were about to pull a bad ending where the siren kills the mc, but they just kiss and part their ways. Interestingly there's no mention of what happens to the governor's dinner. Did it get canceled? There's gonna be an english dub at somepoint. And they say they're gonna make an alternate ending version as well, so I wonder how that would go: https://studioheartbreak.com/pages/the-lovers
>>4596551>animation with exposed titties and gore>gee, whyever would they age restrict it?You really act like logging into youtube is some major effort.
The manga The girl with a child is from PI-ko, an Anti Yuri who created a police girl with a prostitute; the mangaka loves NTR with men.I've said several times that a penis gives meaning to everything. And it creates artwork on a paywall of lesbian police officers almost being fucked by men. And a chapter where his prostitute partner teaches him how to have sex with men, and another where the prostitute orders the police to undress in front of a man for money. The mangaka hates Yuri, and you're giving it publicity.
>>4596556Try learning English before making a callout post. Now your actual message is gonna be drowned out by people being appalled by your inability ot use correct grammar and pronouns. But yeah no shit Piko is garbage and the troll who posted that doujin is specifcially trying to push hetshit.
>>4596556You're telling us the artist who draws out an entire explicit het sex scene in their yuri doujin isn't a proper yuri mangaka? And an NTR enthusiast loves drawing het cuck art? I'm shocked, shocked I say!
>>4596551Yeah, I think ultimately the short length just meant they couldn't really address all the details. No consequence to the important dinner being presumably cancelled and her mom supports her going back to college instead of working at the restaurant. The mermaid is also freed very easily and there is no exploration of the world/setting that establishes how they came to be treated as a delicacy. Again, it's a short film so I get you just kind have to accept a few things on your own but like I said, it's fine. I liked it.
>>4596554>>animation with exposed titties and gore>>gee, whyever would they age restrict it?I get that, but it's annoying because of all the times where youtube age restricts a ton of shit for no damn reason. For instance, they'll age restrict music just because it has the word fuck in the title. I can give a bunch of examples of this.
>>4596583Okay... but that doesnt apply to this video? So an off-topic rant at best. Age restrictions are not really a problem beyond limiting who can see it, but this is not something I'd let children watch anyway.
>>4596507Love how you have no argument- Is Kannazuki not yuri now?
>>4596554>logging into youtube is some major effortNowadays they force you to give them a phone number and to "verify your age" so yeah, it's impossible to get a new account.
>>4596625It's super easy, you little coward. Get a burner phone. And you can easily circumvent age verification. Are you a fucking toddler who needs to be scared of an age check?
>>4596627>it's super easy, you just have to spend money to get a throwaway phone, a smartphone and give google your face/RL documents!
>>4596628It doesn't have to be a smartphone and that shit is cheap as hell to get. And if you had any brains you would realize that phone verifications will be standard on most sites, so that burner phone will get quite a bit of use.>face/IDLiterally didn't have to do that. Dismissed.
>>4596630So you have an old account from a time when you didn't have to do any of this shit so you don't know what you have to do today to get a new one, gotcha.
>>4596631There was a time where Youtube tried to force the whole face/ID thing on people and all age restricted videos were blocked for me too. But I waited it out and they changed it, because that was not legal.
>>4596632Forcing people to have a phone and to give their personal data to have access to a web service shouldn't be legal either.
>>4596211>wade through the hetshit to get to the yuri sex in the end>the bislut immediately asks the lesbian woman to use a straplmaothis shit is so ass
>>4596539>spoilerMaria was also implied to have had one-sided romantic feelings for Mizuka's dad, in case you missed Mitcher's teasing and her dejected reaction to the wedding celebration.I get the feeling that this anime is trying to emulate yuri subtext without really getting it, it has all the girls paired up and they get the expected doki-doki moments sometimes, but outside of those instances it stays sort of heteronormative, except the one couple that is actually intended to be lesbian, so the subtext becomes difficult to use as ship fuel.I'm not too surprised considering the studio behind it, but I dared hope for better execution.

Thracian huntress courting PenthesileaPasiades Painter, ca. 525–500 BC.A white-ground alabastron from the 6th century BCE depicts Penthesilea, queen of the Amazons, as being courted by a female Thracian hunter, labelled Theraichme. It appears to be a reversal of a common male courtship scene in Athenian art, where a suitor gifts a token of affection – typically a rabbit – to his beloved.
>>4596675>tfw your gf doesn't try to seduce you with rabbits
>>4596524I liked it a lot, I expected doomed yuri but got bittersweet yuri instead which was a nice surprise If I understood the creator's website's FAQ then they'll move on to other projects in different settings(?)

>>4596736This >>4596737 but Twitter also massively inflates its view counts.

>decide to look into the She-Ra stuff>nothing happens for 5 seasons until the finaleOh....i was hoping for episodes of them being girlfriends at least
>>4596797That's why you can't believe in a Western fandom that inflates its series with hype; they're never honest, and the actual product isn't that good either. Look at RWBY, for example.
>>4596797>>nothing happens for 5 seasons until the finaleThat is not AT ALL the case. What are you even talking about?Every Catra moment between season 1 and the start of season 5 is just Catra endlessly pining over or being moody about Adora and there's a ton of episodes where they do flirty or cutesy shit.
>>4596808It's not as bad as RWBY man. No western show, not even Korra, is as bad as RWBY.
>>4596813I wasn't referring so much to quality, but rather to an example of a fandom flooded with fan art and communities, even if the actual series isn't worthwhile.
>>4596687What even is this symbolism? How much actual feeling is in these declarations of love?
>>4596831Banging on all cylinders, huh.
>>4596831>How much actual feelingNone. The flashes are representative of how much her heart is moved (for good or bad) by a thing. She is running out of time and is trying to brute force obtaining "true love" that she explicitly admits she knows isn't actually there and so she feels almost nothing.
>>4596831Light = true love, it's pretty obvious and has been repeated throughout the whole show. And it doesn't take a genius to see what a tiny, tiny light means compared to a humongous one.

>>4596508>>4596524Yeah, the length is probably the biggest issue because they had to condense introductions and way to care about the characters and setting as fast as they could.I was following the project since the early days of kickstarter and i was expecting a bit more underwater/peril moments from the trailer, but i can imagine animating the fluidity of hair and clothes must have been a pain so it's understandable lol. Otherwise the animation is fantastic, but this screams "we wanted to do our dream story with our first project". Hopefully this will be revisited in the future.

Madokafags do hate yuri and the show doesn't belong here. The part that was wrong is that it's not because of het. The problem is that Madoka will never be yuri because muh deep plot slop and Madokafags are deepfags and plotfags who are fine with shitting on yuri for the sake of "muh plot" "would be OOC otherwise"Kimishinu shows how you do yuri tragedy if you plan to permakill characters. Give them romantic moments before death. Madoka didn't do this and now any MadoHomu you want is bad because "OOC"

If Maria is the daughter of a prominent and wealthy circus clan, then why wasn't her family more interested in locating their severely injured child? Or are we supposed that Nanami founded a circus trope that became mega popular in just a few short years just to get in her oneesan's pants? >>4597953>>4597954>>4597956Really hoping for this series to be yuri as well, myself. Looks like a step towards that.
>>4598098Yotaka is probably a bislut though. I'm hoping Fuku fucks the yuri pervert neighbor.
Today's Yumemita episode was one of the cringiest things ever made. What a waste of time. The color scheme, VR theme and gags were enough clues that the plot wouldn't be going anywhare. It's on me for expecting something closer to MyGo or even Mujica. Viola feels completely out of place, It's like they released a necromancer in a kindergarten class and forgot to address it. I'm not even complaining about the yuri (or lack of it), just the garbage writing in general.
>>4598109You wanted something closer to oldburi, you got it.
I know it's a tall order but which episodes do I watch to understand the yuri shipping in One Piece?
>>4598116You'll have to be a tad more specific.
>>4598116as someone that watched a lot of One Piece when younger, but stopped before the Wano arc, all I remember you can get from it yuri wise is Nami being gay sometimes
>>4598109never trust bushiroadthey can't have an actual lesbian character
>>4598124They literally just did. A lesbian is still a lesbian even if she ends the story alone. And there's no mistaking after this episode Miyako and Viola's drama was romantic in nature.
>>4598104I mean, Yotaka might possibly be, but Junior doesn't really see her that way. Despite their seemingly close relationship, it looks like they're set up to be mortal enemies or something tragic. Deep inside even Yotaka knows that. Fuku actually has a very meaningful relationship with Yotaka. We've already seen how she feels about her. I don't know if she could settle with any other girl. The pervert neighbor is probably just your average author's self insert. I wouldn't look too much into it. I can see her swooning over Yotaka x Fuku though.
>>4598124>>4598126Yeah that's the thing, it is proper yuri but terribly written and probably won't go any further.
>>4598122Nami and Robin, I think they look cool. Want to learn enough context to know what's going in the fanarts.
>>4598128>The pervert neighbor is probably just your average author's self insert. I wouldn't look too much into it. I can see her swooning over Yotaka x Fuku though.Yeah but drunken sex and things could spiral out of control! You can do it, author self-insert porn-chan!
Miyako feels too similar to Rinko for my tastes. They are both dark-haired characters that dress primarily in dark clothes, are terrible at talking to people, play keyboards, and have a main hobby other than playing music. It's like they figure new viewers won't notice if they reuse old character traits.
>>4598126It subtly hints that Miyako's intense, romantic and sexual love is wrong and she should strive for a platonic relationship like AraRitsu and NonoYuno.
>>4598132They're just close friends. They get shipped together because they don't have love interests and almost never express attraction to dudes. But there aren't really specific episodes where they are super close together, mostly stuff like pic related with Nami being gay in general.
For me, Yumemita feels far better than MyGo or Ave Mujica. They're both worse and more cringe (specially Mujica. Mustusmortis shit is just seen as good by retards who need a cartoon to validate their delusions of multiple personalities)I swear, I don't see what's so super special about Mygo/Mujica. I don't and stop trying. I have never and will never understand "good" or "bad" writing as objective concepts.
>>4598136Insane. The problem is Miyako herself. There's also no indication her "never fall in love again" mindset is right. It's just what she decided but she's a very emotional and extreme person. It's not strange that after her first love ended badly, even affecting her creative work, she decides on the other extreme. Doesn't mean all lesbian love is wrong. Just Miyako fell for the wrong person and went from an extreme declaration. Her break up is a big chuuni rant (not surprising since it's hinted her manga is chuuni shit) ending in a big japanese exorcism chant. I doubt you're suppossed to take it literally as life lessons or anything>>4598135New viewer here. Didn't notice because I don't know who Rinko is. Maybe I would if she was on an actual anime which needs no gacha
>>4598147>Mustusmortis shit is just seen as good by retards who need a cartoon to validate their delusions of multiple personalitiesBut the rest of it is fine. It's not as good as MyGo but It's fine. Yumemita is a throwback to oldori but worse becase Viola is out of place there, they tried the old formula with a menhera this time around...except her plot points went nowhere and it was all meaningless (?)
>>4598139not particularly strong evidence but being a pirate is pretty non-conform path already so increased chances of any woman to be a dyke

>>4598362It is when magical girls date back to the 60s. Please at least pretend you aren't this new
>>4598430I don't know, the concept of magical girls for most Westerners goes back to parodies or memes of Sailor Moon or people who know little to nothing about CCS. If another series is mentioned, it's either a lie or they didn't get past the opening theme or a synopsis, because I highly doubt they have any real knowledge of the magical girl genre, which was already being parodied in the early 2000s.

>>4598795Not anymore, at this point I'm just resigned.
>>4598109>Today's Yumemita episode was one of the cringiest things ever madeI'm ambivalent on it, yes the cartoony antics have been way overdone since the beginning but it's nothing too new for BD, however Viola did finally get some character development this episode, at least seemingly so, and I think they handled it sensibly. As she is the one compelling part of the anime, the next episode can still make or break everything, depending on the way she takes it.If Miyako's stunt this episode is really going to be the end of her relationship with Viola, who'll just seethe and disappear after the final live, then it was all for nothing and I'll forget the anime in a week. However, if they at least set up a future arc for Viola to take to heart Miyako's 'even if we shine together like this it's boring' rebuke, and chase her back, I'd at least look forward to it.
I don't think Viola is even capable of not being a manipulating psycho.
>>4598804>being a manipulating psychoThat's both her flaw and her appeal, it's up to the writers whether she'll amount to a one-trick pony that only existed to drive the plot forward and be defeated in the end, or goes through meaningful character growth while still staying interesting after that.
>>4598802>set up a future arc for ViolaI read a theory that Viola is Uika (the real one), who's fixated on Arale cause she reminds her of her sister. There's an Ave Mujica movie next season, so the timing would be appropriate.
>>4598817I can't believe they made me rewatch Mujica like this...
>>4598817>Viola is UikaThat would explain why they've never revealed her real name so far, and we don't really know anything about the plot of the movie even though it's airing soon.
>>4598817crazy really runs in the family huh
Viola is a character that they were able to set up and then didn't know what to do with, so they sacrificed her for Miyako's Character Development (c).>>4598817What a load of bullshit. I can bring up a LONG list of why Viola isn't Uika, but let's just see how you refruit even 1:Viola in her 13 was living her dream by turning lives of LaLaGirls into nightmares. Uika in her 14 was busy delivering psychological trauma to Hatsune, still on her island in bumfuck nowhere, still poor as shit, while Viola is explicitly from a well-off family.
>>4598831As it should be in this kinda show. Better than what they did to Umiri and RanaBD exists to shill the bands and members and everything else is secondary. Sorry to all the edgy Violafags. But Viola is anime original shit with no band in real life or game. So this was always going to be her role in this kinda show. Tell me: do even precious MyGo and Mujica pay attention to anyone outside the bands being shilled?.
>>4598831>let's just see how you refruitAnon, I just read some theory and re-posted it cause it sounded fun, but I've watched Ave Mujica once and barely remember the timeline, I don't know about refruiting you.I just quickly checked the character bios and Hatsune was a first year high schooler when she first appeared while Viola is a second year high schooler now; as she is the younger sister, isn't there enough time for her to have found her way to the city too?
Maybe not Uika herself, but might be her sister.
>>4598831>refruit>>4598858>I don't know about refruiting you
>>4598866I think you're confused. No one says Viola is Hatsune. The theory is that she's the real Uika. The girl who got her name stolen by Hatsune
>>4598887>got her name stolen by HatsuneHatsune stole her little sister's name, friend, dream, and abandoned her right after their father died, I could see the latter becoming a little twisted.
>>4598887How so? They look nothing alike.
>>4598893If she hates her identical sister so much, it's not unimaginable that she changed her appearance; hair dye, contacts, maybe even a fake mole?
>>4598893Mujicatards are paranoid about every new revealed character being real Uika. They don't want to admit real Uika only exists for Hatsune's backstory. I remember people thinking Arale was real Uika because blonde. They can't have a BD show that exists separately from their precious MyGo/Mujica
Maybe Uika was the psychos we made along the way
>>4598896>BD show that exists separately from their precious MyGo/MujicaThey're the Our Notes girls now, Mewtype, Mujica, MyGo and the others, all of them inside the same (universe)game.
>>4598899And Mujica was part of the same universe as Oldori with Sakiko being inspired to make Crychic by one of the existing bands from old Bang Dream. That's not the point, what I mean by "independet" is that you can watch the show without knowing anything about Mygo/Mujica. That the characters aren't connected at all to Mygo/Mujica beyond existing in the same world
>>4598853>As it should beIt wasn't even good one hence (c) for clowning>RanaActually good character, she doesn't need to monologue for 5 minutes describing her personality so even retards can understand what authors meant. She did have problems namely lack of screen time (fixed in a movie), no big moment (Taki for example also didn't have one, and she is great) and being esper (yeah, that was fucked). She also has zero chemistry with Soyo, but writers aware of that so they at least try to fix it in side material.>UmiriKinda yeah. But hey! Compared to YMMT characters she is pretty decent>this was always going to be her roleFalse. She was shilled hard by official Bandori accounts, even getting her own PV and "takeover". And that's before her popularity peaked. You don't do this for just expendables >anyone outside the bandsMana is right there>>4598858>isn't there enough time for her to have found her way to the city tooNot even close considering YMMT flashbacks
>>4598903Mana. Right the literal who defined by being Hatsune's partner to be dumped in favour of Mujica. Bad exampleRana and Umiri are both worse than anyone in Yumemita. Stop copinhg. A recap movie doesn't fix shit. People shouldn't have to watch recap movies. MyGO doing that shit puts it on shit-tierI'm not watchint the same boringt story twice because they forgot to do anything with a band memberEven if you think Miyako's scene was bad, something is still better than the nothing Umiri and Rana haveShilling Viola so much with the takeover was shit, yes, But again, look at all BD anime. The only characters who matter are those part of the real bands. The rest are all throwaway.
>>4598792And Ouka got obsessed with Mizuka's feet and ankles. We're still good.
The best psychotic characters are always Morfonica fans.
>>4598619To be fair the gushing was on their level of skill, that and CR hetwashing the translation. The word translated as "dreamboat" can also mean "cool". So less romantic gushing, and more like a soccer fan or player in some small team admiring the feats of the top tier players
I haven't read Shuukura in a while. Have they banged post Sendai confession yet?
>>4598928>Sendai confessionGood job spoilering it for everyone, retard.
>>4598905>puts it on shit-tierYou retired, Kidani, you don't have to shill YMMT anymore. There were time constraints and some things needed to be put on hold. The question is what you do with 13 episodes. And I honestly can't even comprehend why anyone can look at YMMT say it's better. MyGO was a masterpiece, literally not even 1 bad scene.>Rana and Umiri are both worse than anyone in YumemitaLike who? Ritsu, whose whole personality collapsed into "girl who eats alot" the moment she was saved from Viola? Yuno who did absolutely nothing for 10 episodes before deciding to leave and the show pretended it was actually a loss. Whose whole development was copy-pasted from Umiri, but actually worse because what Umiri got was interactions with bandmates, not NPCs. Arale who is very inconsistent? The whole point of her character in flashbacks was that Viola couldn't mold her into anything because Arale stayed herself no matter what. And then during live she acts like hot ikemen, when in reality she is anything but. Tomori for example is always the same. Uika is NOT the same in life and on scene but it makes sense for her, she was pretending to be someone else for years.Nonoka is kinda okayish because she fulfills her fucking role. And Miyako if writer's work on her wasn't so rough.Still worse than Raana. And don't even get me started with yuri. YMMT now has literally nothing, by Miyako's own words:>picrelated

Umiri just ranted her backstory at Nyamu and the show stopped caring about her and she became the ass fanservice girlIt's easy to make a bland self insert girl (Tomori) for self diagnosed autists to go "she's just like me" remain consistent. It's not an accomplishment . Stop beindelusionalYuri? Even yuri that ends badly is better than MyGO having literally nothing besides a made up pairing (BasedoAnon) with 0 basis on the source. Besides that, Arale and Ritsu are great childhood friend romance, and as the spares, Nonoka raped Yuno on the beach. MyGO at least has Sakiko/Hatsune. I'll admit they're good, but I hate Hatsune for that shitty infodump of her backstory. Worst episode of all 3 Bandoris I have seen. Only the scene where she goes on all fours and screams Sakiko's name is good.MutsuNyamu is the most forced shit ever. Comparable to NonoYuno in "let's pair the spares" tierIf a work is a masterpiece, it won't need a recap movie to fix anything but you admit the recap movie fixes Rana and gives her something. Too bad it's wasted on a recap movie. You can't watch it instead of the show, and watching it after the show is just "why would I want a recap of this shitty story?", As shit and boring as it is, a recap movie that skips and compresses shit is worseNow stop trying to force me to hate Yumemita and see MySleep and Ave Melodrama as better. Just like you can't see Yumemita as any good or better than the duo, I can't see the duo as this special masterpiece
>>4598934>And don't even get me started with yuri. YMMT now has literally nothingI agree with most of your criticism of yume, but saying this while comparing it to mygo sounds a bit hypocritical, at least miyako x viola was a thing until the latest episode, what did mygo have? It's been a while but all I remember is Taki's apparent one-sided crush on Tomori, Anon holding Tomori's hand when they found their resolution, and then... Anon moving Soyo's hair strand?
>>4598940More relatable
They just released the true ending of the latest YMMT episode:https://video.twimg.com/amplify_video/2096085622230495232/vid/avc1/640x360/2uQbLhx5ICq3lC5N.mp4
>>4598972>AI slopAs expected by fans of the AI written season (MyGO). MyGo feels mechanically written by an AI to hit "good writing checkmarks" with no emotion or entertainment
>>4598973>muh AIOh dear
>>4598972>bonk to the head and then you take her to your cave.I thought Nono was the cavewoman of the band.
>>4598972It wasn't really difficult to write something better than whatever the fuck that episode was.
>>4598976It's not better, retard
So if I make AI slop videos of the MyGO girls fucking every episode, it's automatically better than the real show, it seems
If you prefer grounded stuff like MyGO and think the Miyako rant was too far and crazy and nonsensical: How did you survive Mujica. An entire show more crazy and nonsensical than the Miyako break up rant
Please watch Kore Kaite Shine, it's good
>>4598987>Please watch Kore Kaite Shine, it's goodI know, this is my most enjoyable show to watch this season.Just comfy show all around biting me on nostalgia cause I really loved drawing and painting as a kid but just dropped that hobby during high school times completely.
>two girls breaking up is not better than two girls fucking>girls saying they love each other is more crazy and nonsensical than a girl saying she won't love anyoneToo many people get lost on their way too /a/.
>>4598989Again, if that's all you care: Go generate some videos of the MyGO girls fucking and you have something better than your boring "masterpiece"MahoAko and Shoujo Sect confirmed better than Mygo and Ave Mujica because they have girls fucking
>>4598987It is but clearly people here are only interested in shitting on stuff. So a show that doesn't have much to shit on and cause discourse won't have posts
>>4598990Me again, before anyone goes "reee samefag"Where's the scene of 2 girls saying they love each other in Ave Mujica? Not that a single normal scene means the rest of the show isn't more crazy and nonsensical than Miyako's chuuni breakup rant
>>4598987>watch Kore Kaite ShineThat depends, is there any non-joke yuri involving the protagonist, or it's side couples at best?
>>4598979Correct
Look what's happening in the much, much aged shonenshit worldwth I love Bleach now
>>4599002So much for the show being a "perfect masterpiece"
>>4599007>wth I love Bleach nowWait let me sanitise the screencap a bit to be in accordance with rules
MyGO blighted the crops and turned me into a newt!
>>4598996No, it's only joke-yuri.
New episode of Grow up show was pretty good, Mizuka got a bit of her spunk back and Ouka is back to molesting her legs, which is great. The first round of the tournament being a 30 second slideshow was a bit lazy, shouldve at least animated a montage, but i get they just wanted to skim past the filler troupesStill not a fan of it being revealed that Mizuka never actually hated the circus. i feel like her being really good at circus tricks from her childhood despite hating the circus and gradually coming to like it after seeing the affect it has on the audience wouldve been much better development for her imo. She was also more fun when she was doing so reluctantly or for cash, and Ouka kept chasing her aroundI complain a lot, but i still really like the show. I just don't like some of the decisions they make>>4598913>CR hetwashing the translationthat would make more sense if thats the case then. what about when the troupe find out who Mizuka's dad is? the conversation went something along the lines of:"so lucky, i cant believe you got to perform with those dreamy guys""i never thought they were dreamy""whaaaaa""who would think their own dad is dreamy">>4598987Started watching it a few weeks ago after someone posted a clip here. Somehow ended up being my 2nd favorite show this season, despite not even knowing it existed.>>4598996>non-joke yuriSensei's friend is explicitly in love with her, and it's not played as a gag. I haven't read the manga but i can also see Fujimori and the protagonist getting together
>>4599011So Nel and Harribel being consort queens was real and not something I dreamed up?
>>4599047I shipped that since like forever, myself
>>4599045Yeah. Forgot that part you mentioned. That is bad, yeah. To be honest, I did consider that episode weak for same reasons as you. The overall picture is fine but it does have weak spots and cracks. And yeah the slideshows are also dissapointing. Imagine an idol or band show where the performances are complete still shows. It's a shame because some better decisions on keeping the admiration for Mizuka's dad and Mitchy purely professional and more time to actually animate performances beyond Mizuka and Ouka's trapeze acts would make for an even better show
>>4598987The ED reminds me of the pillows. That episode where Hikaru drives Yasumi around on the scooter while it played gave me FLCL flashbacks
>>4599023no and >>4599045 >>Sensei's friend is explicitly in love with her, and it's not played as a gag.>>I haven't read the manga but i can also see Fujimori and the protagonist getting together>>Fujimori and the protagonist Finally something good happened to me today, I have suspicions but at least it's good to know that.
>>4599011 I really dont remember it being this suggestive in the manga.
>>4598960I proceeded from the assumption that Taki's crush is explicit and will be adressed in the future>Miyako's owari da. Also I don't really see anything else relevant in YMMT either, Arale and Ritsu run hand-in-hand but then nothing hardly beats anything in MyGO. But fine, you can have this, I have no faith in MyMuji S3 being good anyway.>>4598980I don't mind nonsense per se, but please back it up with characters, execution and payoff. AveMujica is far from perfect, but oh fuck does it have a great finale. The last 3 episodes. I don't remember the last time any anime exceeded my expectations by this much.
>>4599095They never meet in the manga, at least not onscreen
>>4599045The manga also had sensei's mom seeing her wedding fantasy manga that she wrote about the first girl to buy her book, and being cool with it

>>4598503>>4598238I love brown girls in my yuri, but is it mean to say these character designs are kinda lame and not very cute? Amphibia and Owl House have much better looking girls, and I very much adore Andou.
>>4599105AveMujica"s "character execution and payoff" are far shittier than Yumemita. Far cringier than Yumemita. Yumemita stays on it's lane. MyGO and Ave Mujica try to reach for the stars and fail miserably. "The last 3 episodes" That would include the "oh shit we have no idea of how to explain Hatsune's backstory. have her literally monologue to the audience" episode. One of the worst episodes of anything I've ever watched. And if you're going to cope about future content magically making Taki explicit with no evidence , I can do the same with Yumemita and claim Miyako will back down from her "never feel love again" stance in the game or whatever . Anything goes when you accept specula about future content as an argument

I see people complaining about twitter for art but isn't searching for tags enough? So far I'm pretty satisfied. Funny enough some of the most insufferable people I've seen bitch about it the most, so it makes me think it's not all that bad. But then again I'm barely there atp.
useless cat lesbian
>>4599315There are way too many artists who use no tags at all.
>>4599315Can you search for tags without being rate limited nowadays? Haven't tried it since you couldn't see more than 2 tweets before being booted out.
>>4599320Some nitter instances still exist so you could use those.
>>4599321Which ones?Even the site listing the instances with their status is down.
>>4599319Nothing we can do about dumb artists unfortunately. Tags should be obvious ffs.>>4599320I've never been rate-limited. How does that work? I really just use it very little and not even everyday.
>>4599322Google x viewer. Some options show up.
>>4599323>How does that work?Used to be that you could only see a certain number of tweets before the system said "hey you, you've seen enough, any more and we'll suspect you're a bot" or something like that. Then you had to wait a certain time before being able to see or post anything again. Dunno how it is nowadays, like I said, I've avoided browsing tag over there.
>>4599322https://nitter.miningtcup.me
>>4599326OMG, thank you so much.
>>4599325Oh I hope they don't apply to tags then. That would suck. But tweets are honestly unimportant to me. Except whatever Haneda posts.
>>4599214It may or may not be related (a hug if I'm right) but many Western "authors" have the bad habit of inserting themselves in the most foolish and shameless way possible. Instead of writing or creating real characters, they project themselves into the story. This is bad and affects the narrative, since these characters tend to "do nothing wrong." They don't have real character development, since everything they do is good, and in the end they always get the last laugh, since it's not the path of the hero/protagonist, but rather the masturbation of the original author.Regarding the designs, yes, I understand the problem; many other series also use simple designs, but many have their own identity, so that by looking at just one character you know what it's about.
>>4599111I think the manga at least mentions that Nel is working for her though. Not like there were many Arrancar left to rule over by the end of the Hueco Mundo arc.
>>4599337You are just a moron. Self-insert nation is still Korea and Japs arent far behind.
>>4599390Just because they do it doesn't mean the West doesn't do it either (or worse, for that matter). Here, they have the nerve to pretend that these are characters, when they are nothing more than an author projecting themselves. Even if they end up using existing characters that were already defined, they simply turn them into more insufferable versions of themselves. When they are created characters, it is more difficult to notice, but it is obvious when you look closely.
>>4599323There are plenty of reasons to not use a hashtag.
>>4599390Protip: whenever you see a post using the word "foolish", ignore it; it's an ESL with room temperature IQ.
>>4599397Most, if not all, of the artists I've seen don't use any kind of hashtag or tag. If they are used, it's only when there are silly trends like "bunny outfit day," "reverse bunny outfit day," and that kind of thing that floods the internet with repetitive art.
>>4599397Such as?
>>4599395>Even if they end up using existing characters that were already defined, they simply turn them into more insufferable versions of themselves.True, sadly.
>>4599395Delusional moron.
>>4599322Nitter seems to be back.
>>4599457>UPDATE: Following legal advice, the Nitter project will continue. More details will be announced soon.Nice.
>>4599390But in Japan/Korea it's the viewer self-insert. In the West it's the writer/author self-insert, and it's really obvious.I'm not saying it happened with the series in question, but it's obvious when it happens and it's beyond reasonable doubt that it happens.
>>4599457Wonderful!
>>4599459>Following legal adviceI hope it was a picture of a middle finger sent directly to Elon.
>>4599315As the other anon, said, very many artists do not tag the pairing or use any searchable text at all.In some cases they might tag a work/franchise, but since they don't tag a specific yuri pairing you run into the problem of having to wade through tons of shit that is not yuri.
>>4599389yeah, when Halibel got taken by the whateverenemy in the last arc it was Nell who went to look for help and then also presumably was searching for her in the last arc. But in the rush ending, neither was seen again, famously. Until the anime remake fixed it this way.
>>4599460No you fucking moron. Author self-inserts happen literally everywhere, all the time.
>>4599574Nta. Maybe that's true but the Western kind hits harder because there's real fatigue of certain kinds of people. As for the Japanese and Koreans, you'd have to go digging more to realize it.
>>4598940>yayas always the best girls? Most of the time, yes. And I think Roka is the only exception since Kaguya is truly a better fit.And then there's the Tamao, who is way worse than the YayaNow excuse me, I have volcano and forest fire problem
>>4599578Liking yayas indicates high IQ
>>4599579>To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand IroRoka pairing
>>4599577All I am seeing is that you either think all Japs and Koreans write bland generic characters indistinguishable from self-inserts or you are too stupid to tell.

Is Dunjon Meshi yuribait???
>>4599664No
>>4599664It's barely even subtext.
>>4599584We need to differentiate between the different types of self-insertions, such as the aforementioned MC without a real personality or anything decent in their favor, although under that idea the protagonists of Western RPGs or even first-person games would count, they are not particularly complex characters (not all, but several) or the protagonists of young adult novels or even those erotic stories of housewives being unfaithful due to a life of little sex or an abusive husband, or worst of all, raising children (the horror)As mentioned, the authors/directors are literally creating a multi-million dollar fanfic where they explicitly are the main character or project their insecurities onto the main character, who is nothing more than a reflection of themselves. There is no hero's journey, but rather a journey that reaffirms how great the character is and that everyone (including the viewer/reader) has to recognize how great the author, I mean the main character, is on their journey so that everyone accepts how great they are.>>Japs and Koreans write bland generic characters indistinguishable from self-insertsNot all generic, personality-less protagonists can be considered an avatar of the reader; sometimes it's just the author who is incompetent at creating a good main character, like Sieg in Fate/apo or the idiot in the anime Fate/extra. They aren't avatars, but they are terrible characters.
>>4599695Flamela wanting to fuck the chocolate elf probably because of being mind-controlled is above the canon waterline though. The bitch probably wants to exploit and kill her though so hopefully elf secret service can protect her.
>>4599698>Not all generic, personality-less protagonists can be considered an avatar of the reader; sometimes it's just the author who is incompetentThis. I'll also add that overuse of tropes is also a sign of incompetence. I'm really tired of it. Please God let Ito be healthy this time for real.
Baby shachuuhackers is so fucking good.
>>4599786I need to catch up on it. Any romantic developments yet?
>>4599786Can't read that but I hope you're right. I hope to read it one day.
>>4599664If by yuribait you mean that they end with dudes then no, however the yuri subtext is very thin. Despite this for some reason Farcille became an extremely popular ship.
>>4599794>>4599798You see Marcille's favorite novels feature General Hareus who is said to have a secret and who is the eyepatch guy that she subconsciously adores enough for her succubus (expression of her ideal partner) being based on him.HOWEVERThe novels are based on Rose of Versailles, naturally, which means Hareus is scretly an elf woman in drag and that means Marcille is a closeted lesbian even if she thinks that she likes her as a guy and it's just a novel after all! It's all coming together.
>>4599214I'd agree with Zira but She made some collage drawings of the cast I think it's mostly the choice of clothes and probably Zira's hair

Is it worth watching bang dream (2017) anime?
>>4600028>bang dream (2017)if you mean just the first season, in terms of yuri it's the only one that had non-insignificant kasumi x marisa subtext moments, though it's still really light stuffif you mean all old gen bang dream, it's just cgdct with sprinkles of subtext here and there, mostly diluted since they do multi-shipping, but there's some highlights like pareo x chuchu (eventually)i've watched all of it and i don't regret it, but it's mostly a time waster to take in with your brain turned off, the new generation is more entertaining and introduced borderline maintext yuri to the series with uika x sakiko and miyako x viola (this might be dead though)

That being said, the girl's crush on the MC is absolutely freaking adorable right now and the way their relationship developed is one of the strong points of the story.
>>4600560Almost certainly this, yes.
So a few hours away from the final episode of Yumemita and my take is: why the Miyako stuff considered so bad? Given Viola's role as antagonist, she would have to break up and the "I will never love anyone again". Does it matter when bands having odd number of members means there are characters who will never find love anyways?. Ranan and Umiri for example. And odd number of members in the band is always sign of having an "Will never love anyone" charactter. Does the difference of not saying so matter when they still aren't given even the slightest crumb with anyone?
>>4600578The cringe factor, maybe? It felt like they were never on the same page. Viola feels out of place in the cutesy sparkly world they created. She was a perfect plot device for a show without real plot or commitment...
>>4600581I guess I fail to understand cringe. And I guess the contrast and how out of place Viola is in this kind of SoL comedy is kinda the point of why she was so shilled with the takeover and stuff. I don't expect much plot or commitment because they gotta leave things open for the gacha to keep going forever. The cringe is subjective, but maybe the point? Miyako is suppossed to be a cringy NEET. Unless the subs (not CR as everyone else like Muse Asia has the same script) are wrong, she used internet lingo to describe Nonoka in one of the earlier episodes. Her manga being chuunishit too. And her working on it almost all the time. Unlike Arale and Ritsu who can be more social and normal, Miyako is far more into the otaku hole and the cringe and chuuni stuff. But either way: my problem is treating "I will never love anyone" as something new when there are already characters who are in execution like that. Them not making the oath of no love makes no difference when they still get nothing.
>>4600582>they gotta leave things open for the gacha to keep going forever. Most of what you said is fair except for this bit, and perhaps this is also the reason why it felt "cringe". People watching Yumemita had certain expectations about it based on the previous works (MyGo and AveMujica). Those 2 were still experimental but they committed more than the usual multimedia project would, they went for more tragic backstories and deeper character moments, with a promise that it wasn't the end, "there will be more of them in the future". I guess most people expected a similar thing from Yumemita but the staff went back to the older formula and threw a menhera in just for good measure.
>>4600503Anyway, i was bettin Sylphia been gayShe has the vibes

>>4600584That's on people for not checkign the staff. MyGO and Ave Mujica's writer Ayana Yuniko is gone. I prefer the new staff go back to safe zone if they're more comfortable there than try and fail to emulate Ayana Yuniko. Yumemita being a different show about different bad, it's acceptable. My worry is the new movie and season of Mujica/MyGo. That's where there's a need to carry Yuniko's torch and I don't know if the new staff have it in them
Yumemita is better

While I was watching it I remembered that I dropped it back when it aired around episode 8. And I also did not finish it this year, dropping it on episode 10. Maybe I will finish it five years from now.
>>4600747>>>/a/
>>4600747Mayonaka and Ninkoro are my favorite together with Botan that's not on your list. All are very romantic with the romance being not the main plot but intertwined and inseparable from the plot and explaining many of the motivations etc which is what I crave. As for Ninkoro, I really only liked Asuka and her senpai until 100b fucked it up by forcing a type of triangle or polyshit with senpai's sister. I wanted a proper side couple with just Asuka and senpai. At least Konoha and Satoko are super cute. Let's see if he manages to not fuck it up.
>>4600565>>4600568I have complete faith in the author to deliver with Coco and Agott since she's had it in mind from the earliest sketches, and Richeh and Tetia have straight ships so it's not like going yuri with the MC would preclude any het from happening, but the "issue" is that she just mentioned the series is about one-third of the way done and it's been going on for ten years. Prepare for a very long commitment if you decide to follow it now.
>>4600757Don't think I've ever seen these sketches, that little one of them touching foreheads is cute.>TetiaI'm hesitant to call hers a ship given how Eoleo gives her the creeps. Maybe he won't always though, we'll see.
>>4600759It's from this new digital artbook: https://mag-s.jp/products/witch-hat-atelier-en
>>4600764Oh shit, I bought it and forgot about it.
>>4600747The Gekidol opinion feels written in bad faith, or you're just retarded. You make it seem like the main girls go het instead of the het being a male villain and another character who almost dooms the world because of being a hetshitter. In Gekidol, het almost ruins the world and it's up to yuri girls to save it.
>>4600747>>4600749
>>4600783>Japan's tasteToo generous.
I never bothered with Witch Hat Atelier, but I was very disappointed when I was listening to a podcast and I found out that Agott is pronounced like "uh-gott" and not like "faggot" without the f.
>>4600605Ok, just watched ep. 13 and it was a disaster. It was indeed the oldori formula to milk gacha content except they killed Fairy Bouquet and Viola was left as a loose end (no idea what they're going to do with her next, if anything. She was the best character in the show but also pointless). Mewtype somehow outcringed Kasumi with their sheer power of VR cancer. I wasn't expecting a MyGujica but some of the older seasons featuring Chu2 x Pareo and Roselia were much higher quality than Yumemita. What a letdown.
>>4600826Gacha slave seasons are not better than anythingEither way>VR cancer. Sounds like a you issue of checking a season where the girls's seiyuus are vtubers using the name of their anime characters and that had VR stuff from the start when you clearly hate it and find it cringe. I dunno it's like finding magical girls cringe and cancer and watching Madoka or Nanoha to the end while complaining about "magical girl cancer and cringe". In general, I guess I don't understand "cringe" as a complaint
>>4600836It's not VR as a concept that I oppose but how it was used. See Chou Kaguya-hime as an example of using VR in a meaningful way. Yumemita was just visual fluff slop with an out of place menhera in the mix.
>>4600826Season 2 bait, maybe?
>>4600879Looks like it but it was such a nothingburger that I don't even see the point. It's not like they're going to drastically shift the focus of a second season to the plot or anything.
>>4600863>slop>cringeIf you could stop using buzzwords, it'd be greatAnd what's wrong with adding visual appeal in a visual medium like anime?. I dunno why the VR should have some ultra dramatic reason like Kaguya. Better than scenes of the characters voice chatting.Things can exist because it's more fun to look at than the alternative>ewtype somehow outcringed Kasumi with their sheer power of VR cancerThis entire sentence is utterly meaningless to me, and not because I don't care for oldori. "What is cringe" "power of VR cancer"? What did Arale do wrong this episode?
>>4600826Not to mention Viola didn't even spare a thought for Miyako despite this being her biggest focus episode of the season, and right after the big resolution between them last time; in fact it's shown that she's likely manipulating her manager in pretty much the same way, given the phone message. So it's the worst and laziest outcome, all of her apparent development was just her faking it as usual, she stayed a one-dimensional villain and she had her seething ending, so her role is now fulfilled, I'd be surprised if she's ever shown again in anime form. And with Viola out of the picture, the only possibly compelling aspect of Mewtype is also gone, I'm not expecting anymore anime content about them other than maybe as side characters in ensemble stuff, and frankly it's for the best. All in all a big waste of time and potential, oh well.
>>4600883If you believe that Yumemita, as a story (presumably written by humans), had a level of polish and quality acceptable in any way then I don't have anything else to add to this discussion. Keep enjoying childrens' shows, I guess.
>>4600889I genuinely don't get it either. Nothing was solved; everything was meaningless. Viola was great as a plot device but the writers threw the plot away and everything just sort of "ended" with no real conclusion.Miyako's rant coul've been good if Viola reacted to it in some way but as you mentioned they just nuked her small tidbits of character development at the end. Why? Who knows? The oldori seasons were never like this. Even those who never played the game can point out how cool RAS was clawing their way to the top against Roselia (which also got good backstory and characters).
>>4600890The retard using childish buzzwords like cringe or slop doesn't get to play the "I am so mature and better than you" card. >muh kids showsSeveral Precure seasons easily mog MyGO and Mujica. If your purpose to watch anime is to prove you're ultra deep intelligent aned mature, you can kill yourselfWhy are MyGO/Mujifcatards so obnoxious?>if it isn't like muh ultra perfect MyGO/Mujica, it's trash that no one should like and those who do are worthlessHoly shit. I was trying to undertand the cringe and the grave problem with VR and got hit with pretentious asshole
>>4600890No, it's not, and it's still better than what we had.
>nothing was solved, everything was meaninglessBut enough about MyGO/Mujica. I still don't know what "solution" people want. How could it be "meaningful"?. And what character development got erased? Viola is what she always was. Thus why Miyako broke up. Because despite everything, she can't change or let go of her obssession with hating Arale. It's her whole character anyways. And it always was. If you're bothered she's like this: why did you ever like her? At some point, you should realize whatever you wanted from her was delusions.
>>4600897Oh, I remember you. You're the anti-mygofag who gets mad every time you encounter non-caricaturized displays of emotions...I'm neither ultra deep intelligent nor mature but why would that matter? I'm not related to the writers or the bandori brand in any way. The quality of their works has nothing to do with me. I compared Yumemita to seasons older than MyGo/Mujica specifically because I know that those two were intentionally different and experimental scenarios.Seriously, get over MyGo, nee-san. Did Söyorin really pee in your camomile tea or something? My complaints of Yumemita's writing aren't personal attacks against your own ego. You can enjoy it, but it is objectively garbage tier writing outclassed by several childrens' shows, as you mentioned.
>>4600903>non caricaturizedYou say when the most praise MyGO/Mujica get is retards with self diagnosed autism or "DID" self inserting as Tomori or Mutsumi and gloing "she's like me". Anyways, my hate isn't for Mygo itself. It's for Madoka. It's for EVA. It's for every overrated show that has people demand you like them and dislike everything else in the genre>as you mentioned. I mentioned the children's shows outclass all of BanDori. If Yumemita is "objective garbage (no such thing exists)", so is bandori as a whole. Why do you treat children show like an insult or dimiss them? This is what makes me think you want to be seen as deep and mature. You immediately resorted to "children show" as an insult and went "if you dare disagree and think Yumemita is good, you're worthless"Drop the pretentious attitude and obssession with objectivityOne woman's trash is another woman's treasure. One woman's treasure is another woman's trash. Doesn't mean critcism is worthless. Just that it isn''t the only acceptable view, and there are multiple. No show exists that is good in the eyes of every human. And no show exists that is bad in the eyes of every human
Reminder Viola, the character here everyone loves, is just female Kusaka from Kamen Rider Faiz, a children's show. Ohj no, you like character for kids. This is bad somehow The one character you say had most potential or whatever was also the one most closely copied from a kids show. Maybe kids shows aren't so bad?
Yumemita's finale was great because it wasn't just a concert. If you thought Viola would care about Miyako over Arale you are more dense than Miyako was.
>>4600894>I genuinely don't get it either. The way I "get" it is that their idea was creating the new gen successor of Hello Happy World, so they went all out on being cartoony, with over the top heroes finding over the top solutions to their problems, and an over the top villain that literally left the stage with "I'll always hate you, main protagonist!".But the thing with traditional cartoons is that they tend to be mindless and forgettable, so that's exactly what yumemita amounted to in the end.>>4600899>It's her whole character anyways. And it always was. Development means change, it's what differentiates flat characters from compelling ones.Viola, as you said, has stayed the same from the beginning to the end, so even though she started out with high potential due to being entertaining and important to the plot, the writers didn't develop her in any direction whatsoever, so all she ended up being is a one-trick pony, which is wasteful. And one of the best things about Viola was her relationship with Miyako, since it was, you know, yuri, which is the reason lots of anons here watch anime for: so the relationship just ending with one character moving on and the other never having given a shit about it is very disappointing.
Viola still destroys Sadaharu as an antagonist. Mujica failed.
>>4600907>>4600908>>4600909Yes, I apologise for saying things in a rude manner. I wasn't dismissing the quality of childrens' shows like PreCure. What I meant is that those kinds of stories are much emotionally simpler and often won't commit to a serious conclusion, which fits Yumemita perfectly (the color pallette was a dead giveaway but these kinds of thing can be misleading due to artist freedom and whatnot). Also please keep in mind that Mygo/Mujia is still an ongoing project. There's more to come and the whole project planned like this, unlike Yumemita, which left everything open for a new season without any real plot or substance behind it. Viola was perfect, perfectly out of place and perfectly neglected by the writers. Any kind of emotional depth in the story could only have come from her antics...which were ultimately meaningless, as even her own character development was thrown aside by the end.As I said to you the other day, I'm a longtime fan of the franchise as a whole, which is why I even care enough to bring up these complaints. Yumemita was an unsatisfying waste of time to me.On a side note, I like your autism. I've seen some call you a schizo but I'll never personally dislike you.
>>4600917>the whole project planned like thisThey didnt plan on s3 they made it because it ended up popular in China. If it hadn't been popular they would get shelved like Morfonica.
>>4600918I forget his name but someone in the staff team had hints about Sakiko's and Mutsumi's relationship even before Mujica aired. The whole thing about Hatsune and Uika was also expected to blow up later or have a dedicated season for it afterwards. These imply a longer project was planned from the beginning (or because MyGo was successful enough).
>>4600920>Mutsumi's relationshipWith stairs.
>>4600923The steps were female btw
>>4600916>Mujica failed. He did better than 95% of Latinamerican presidents.
>>4600930>implying
I felt bad for the two other girls in Fairy Bouquet. They were cunts, but it also felt like they were collateral damage of Viola's shittiness.
do you separate your erotica & porn?
>>4600915But change would mean her losing the characteristics that are the reason people here consider her "better" than the main cast. And yeah, as much yuri as MiyaVio was, it was never going to turn into something real. Viola being shown with the recordings to prepare another anti-Arale video showed what her priorities were all this time. Miyako lacked the ability to make her change, and nothing was shown that suggested Miyako ever had it>>4600917I think you're coping about the new movie and season for MyGO/Mujica being plan. There is no sign that they're still using Ayana's scripts (she'd be credited if the new stuff was still based on her scripts and plans, and I can't find such credit). And of course, how good the new stuff will be and how well a different writer can fill for Ayana. For all we know, the new movie and season could be like the new Nanoha or Madoka movie, where they continue without much idea of where to go and thus there's not much change or anything done. You get some of the most famou shallow characterization of the characters, but the new writer could miss the nuances. Never bet on unaired stuff until it comes out. Madoka fans bet for 12 years on movie 4 and they lost, and that one still had Urobuchi. a writer change is always more dangerous
>>4601183>change would mean her losing the characteristicsAnon, change can be anything, it doesn't have to be a complete U-turn, in fact that would feel like an asspull.Instead, she could for example have kept her toxicity but still be emotionally moved by Miyako by a non-zero amount despite herself, that would've been an easy development to go for considering their self-admitted similarities, opening up interesting possibilities for the future.Instead, it was all dismissed as just another girl she nonchalantly toyed with, so Viola as a character gained nothing from the whole debacle that lasted half the series.
>>4601186That was always the point. Not everything should be forced to have development. The point is that while Arale grows and finds success with her friends, Viola is consumed by hate and evy and just can't. The best example is her lack of variety in her plans to attack Arale. She used once again an edited video. But it failed to impact her like the first video did. Any impact Miyako might have had was nullified because Miyako still sided with Mewtype and thus Arale, reinforcing Viola's' existing ideas and hate of Arale. The only way for Miyako to impact her was if she chose her over Arale, but that was never happening for several reasonsI dunno how you expect a relationship that lasts several weeks at best with a socially retarded autist to change the hate Viola has been keeping for years Being in different bands and Miyako even being busy as mangaka is not like they can actually interact or meet that much. I understand wanting development, but Miyako affecting Viola with so little time and interactions would be an asspull
>>4601188>Not everything should be forced to have development.True, but the interesting characters are the ones that do develop, if a one is exactly the same at the beginning of the story as she is at the end, it was either a minor character or an underdeveloped one.Viola's manipulations were certainly entertaining at first, but once they're shown in flashbacks, then on Ritsu in the present, by the time you get to Miyako they've already grown old, so expectations that something will change are naturally raised.People who liked Viola are disappointed now because they found out she was relegated to a plot device, there was no character arc planned for her, she just did her spiel over and over again until it wasn't needed anymore. It's not that Viola had to change, it's that Viola not changing is the most boring use of her character they could've done.>I dunno how you expect a relationship that lasts several weeks at best with a socially retarded autist to changeAgain, it didn't have to suddenly change her whole life, it just had to not be nothing, to not feel wasted on her; this anime was pretty far removed from realistic storytelling either way. that's certainly not what would've broken anyone's suspension of disbelief.
>>4601194> this anime was pretty far removed from realistic storytelling either wayLike all anime? I don't see it as different from any other SoL CGDCT thing or worse. Feels people exaggerate "realism" in things they like. And again, the problem is Miyako making a choice and choosing Arale. Miyako thus becomes another thing Arale has and another reason Viola has to hate Arale because of her envy and jealousy.>the most boring use of the characterThe only use for an antagonist that is basically giving a face to online hate and toxicity. You fundamentally misunderstood what she was and are mad because the show wasn't following your misunderstanding.
I can’t believe Takeda just took nozomizo away from us :(
>>4601200>You fundamentally misunderstood what she wasShe could've been anything anon, that's the beauty of fiction. They just chose to have her be very basic.
>>4600910hinako on cuck chair?
>>4601205Some girls like to watch
>>4601207Fishe and Foxe?Is Hinako a furfag?
>>4601204You're watching fiction with the wrong mindset. "Could have been anything". Same applies to the entire franchise and never choosing to have thaty "anything" be actual canon yuriIn the end, I was proven right and not dissapointed. You however, were. Can you say my mindset is wrong when I was able to detect what kinda show Yumemita was and what kinda character Viola was? You meanwhile got lost in maybes, could bes and chasing your idea of good that the show never promised. I feel it's better to try and detect what a show is trying to do and dip if you don't want that than to keep watching and complaining even when it's clear that what they want to do is not what you want to watch
>>4601202>:(
>>4601208Their hatesex is just that amusing
>>4601211>it's clear that what they want to do is not what you want to watchI don't know anon, the latest entry in the franchise had a borderline canon yuri couple born as the climax of the season. So this airing on its heels, and making Miyako's infatuation very explicit, inevitably got my hopes up; I wasn't expecting a repeat of last time for sure mind you, but I did think it was possible. If you're telling me in this case it was absolutely obvious it wouldn't happen, I don't know, maybe you're right? It's not what I was debating though, even then I still wish they made Viola and her relationship with Miyako more developed and consequential, since it was the one part of the anime I found potentially interesting.
>>4601220>borderline canonNice cope. It's either canon or isn't. Borderline means not canon. Miyako's feelings were always one-sided. Again, the only way they wouldn't be is Miyako permanently leaving Mewtype and siding for good against Arale. And when they want to shill the Vtubers, and concerts and band in the gacha, a member leaving permanently to side with an anime original character that doesn't have real concerts is impossible. And as long as Miyako has to remain in Mewtype, Viola would see her as siding with Arale and thus even if she felt something for her, it would just be more reason to hate Arale. Enemies to lovers can't happen in a franchise where the lead band has to remain together. So the only alternative would be for Miyako to somehow magically redeem Viola and remove all her hate, which would mean removing the traits you consider interesting. All her interesting traits are rooted in her hate, jealousy and envy. Remove or develop that, and the traits go away. Do you want to see Viola as a nice girl without any of her edge in the name of "development"?
>>4601267>It's either canon or isn't.Not how it works.
>>4601269You beat me to it; I was going to say the same thing.>>4601267>>Borderline means not canon. Not only does it not work that way, but thinking like that is silly; furthermore, are you one of those people who thinks subtext is the same as headcanon?
>>4601267>Nice cope. It's either canon or isn't. Borderline means not canon.Anon, whatever is your take on Uika x Sakiko, the point is I would've been very satisfied if Miyako x Viola ended up with something equivalent. And you know I already addressed the rest of your post before, I'm not sure what you're trying to accomplish with back and forth.
>>4601269Yes how it works. Nanoha, Bandori, Symphogear, Madoka and other "borderline canons" are still not canon. Still not the same as AdaShima, KimiShinu, YagaKimi. It's a yes/no question, and even your faves in BanDori fall into no
>>4601271You wanted something that I already explained is impossible. Uika and Sakiko doesn't depend on a band member leaving the band permanently or fundamentally changing one of the characters. Viola Miyako can only work if Viola becomes nice and lets go of her hate (thus removing her selling point which is her antagonism. It's like making Nonoka into an introvert when her character is "ultra cheery extrovert") or Miyako sides with her against Arale, which I've already explained is impossible given the non-anime parts of the franchise>>4601270Subtext is not purely headcanon but it's still not canon. Shut up until Bushiroad gives actual canon instead of "borderline" copes
>>4601273>You wanted something that I already explained is impossibleI already told you that all that was needed was nudging in any interesting direction, the stuff you keep bringing up is far from an insurmountable obstacle, especially for an anime that isn't hell bent on realistic developments. We're going in circles, what is your point? That Viola, Miyako and the anime are good the way they are?I'm glad you liked them anon, don't let me stop you, I just wish they were better.
>>4601214Watatabe fans sure have lots of unhinged weird memes
>>4601275>huuuuur if anime not realistic, anime can do anythingRetard."Better" for you is impossible and contradictoryBecause any development Viola has that doesn't erase the core of her character (her antagonism) makes yuri impossible. For yuri to happen, Viola has to turn into another "uninteresting character"And what I mentioned is insurmountable, yes.My point is that you're a retard obssessed with your ideas of "better" and can't see how it wouldn't work unless the show was something completely diffrerent and not Bang Dream, which has to shill real concerts (and in Yumemita's case, Vtubers). Your only argument is that because it's not realistic enough for you, they could do whatever, which is utter retarded nonsense. The anime was never going to be interesting for you. It's like watching YagaKimi and going "what is there is not interesting" "Could've been better if it had explicit yuri origies on-screen", ignoring what kind of story it is. And arguing that because it's no realistic (no anime is, the idea of realism in anime is delusion), that it's valid to think it could've done the yuri orgies
>>4601278Look, I'm pretty tired of repeating myself, and there is not a single thing in this wall of text I haven't addressed at least twice during our exchange, so I'll just agree to disagree and leave it at that.Have a nice day, anon.
Is it yuri if a cute girl is playing a boy in a play or an old movie and kissing other girls?
>>4601282It says right there that they are gay and I will ignore the different meaning of this adjective.Since these are like REALLY old movies, I will also just assume that they made her a "boy" because they were not allowed to show lesbian romance on the big screen back in these days, the intent is clearly girl x girl.
>>4601272Fiction doesn't work in absolutes. Unlike reality, it can exist in uncertain states because it's all make-believe in our imaginations.
>>4601285This is just cope. If fiction "can do anything", then it can go solid canon and not doing so is valid criticism against everything that doesn't. "Gay levels" are just cope. You only get to complain about an specific Bandori show not being gay when Bandori actually crosses the line instead of having "borderline" copes. "borderline" is cope by people who want to believe the franchise is evolving. People who refuse to accept the reality: the franchise is the same and there's still lines they won't cross

>>4601287You have to accept that things don't always work out or turn out the way you want; it doesn't operate based on your logic or personal preferences. That’s not how canon works—it isn't about determining how "gay" a work is, but rather establishing which facts apply to specific continuities. I have some bad news for you: a single series can have multiple canons across different continuities. In this case, the anime and the gacha game are separate continuities, and even Ganso is its own thing. But they all have one thing in common—they’re gay; that’s a fact. The only thing that isn't strictly canon is absolute confirmation of any specific couple—that’s the only canon element missing here—but otherwise, you’d have to be an idiot to even question it.
>>4601287Come up with a real argument instead of regurgitating "cope" over and over.
>>4601292If what matter is "gay", then Miyako mogs all of Ave Mujica and MyGO. But the complaint here is no couple. And thus if we're going to complain about no couple, then that applies to all of Bandori and muh "borderline" is nonsense cope by someone who doesn't want to admit the shows declared as "good" and better than evil Yumemita are themselves not so different from evil Yumemita in the couples thing>>4601293Come up with a real Bandori couple instead of "borderline" delusions. I want somethinh solid like KimiShinu or other maintexts
Also, cringe is not more real argument than cope.I haven't used cope any more than the anti-Yumemita tards have usede "cringe" over and over and over
>>4601299Kiss and confession, now
>>4601300Beauiful Birthday's lyrics are Reona's confession
>>4601296>>I want somethinh solid like KimiShinu or other maintextsKid, that’s a yuri series; referring to it—or any other yuri series—as "maintext" is completely stupid. These are series where yuri is the central, primary element; calling them "text" is just retarded. The only ones that actually need a distinction are series where yuri is present but not the main focus—where its importance varies depending on the show (so no, they can't all be lumped into the same category).
>>4601302Then the final songs of Yumemita are Arale's confession to Ritsu. I can play this game of pretending songs are confessions too
>>4601308>it doesn't count because reasonsRetarded nonsense. How about Otherside Picnic then?. Yuri coexists with all the horror stuff Or Kannazuki no Miko?, Yuri coexisting with the plot of stopping Orochi. If you have to resort to semantics, BanDori, including super sacred Mygo and Mujica are trully overrated and not that special.
>>4601317Holy yumemitard cope. Reona explicitly wrote the song for Chiyu and the band performerd it on her birthday as a gift. The lyrics are canonically about her and dedicated to her.

Just read the birthday shit songHoly overrated gachatard cope (gachatard used cope, so I'm not hearing anyone bitching "cope is not real argument"). There's nothing explicit thereNothing Symphogear doesn't do. Nothing the Yumemita finale doesn't do. Bandoritards are truly delusionalUnless I can see some evidence they are a couple and the story doesn't ignore this shit like Symphogear does. Or like Jellyfish ignored the kiss. Or Girls Band Cry ignored the Nina confession. How easy it is to give some people their one "gay moment" and then they'll claim that's all you need for couple and that it's on the level of real yuri. Why does your defense of yumemita boil down to calling everything else bad
>>4601406Because I don't want to defend Yumemita. That's a side effect of my real point: That I don't think the rest of the franchise is all that special. Not bad if you have self awareness and know what to expect, but will never be anything beyond typical music SoL and will never cross any explicit linesI don't want to defend Yumemita, I want to trash on the delusions of fans who think the rest of the franchise is any different. Yumemita was fine seasonal entertaiment, nothing less and nothing more. Like MyGO. Like Mujica. And the rest of the franchise is "go play shitty scam game" shit, so worthlessIf people are gonna act smug and bring up the rest of the franchise, it better be real yuri. Which it isn't. It better not be more SoL stuff to shill concerts and gacha, which it is. People want to pretend the rest of the franchise is different and so much better, and it's wrong.
>>4601409>filenameTake me to your alternative universe because in this universe, they're barely even friendsHell of all 3 I watched, MyGO is easily the one with less yuri. I can't name a single pairing intended by the show. At least Mujica has Sakiko/Uika, Mutsumi/Nyamu. Yumemita has Arale/Ritsu, and Yuno with Nono or the girl from her former bandMyGO didn't even have the slightest crumbs. Even the shitty birthday song is at least something. MyGO has absolute zero. Band of friends with 0 romance (except maybe Taki's yearning. But that shit will go nowhere. Miyako/Viola tier. No, even worse because at least Miyako's feelings were explicily real for a while. Taki is just a bunch of hints and nothing explicit)
>>4601412Nta but honestly that one fan manga captured the depth and truth of these two so well it completely mogged the canon. It feels like a yuri coup d'état. I'll always consider these two real no matter what the show and gacha do.
>>4601417>fan mangaHoly fuck. Thanks for agreeing with me MyGO is so dry it needs fans doing the work.I could also post some yuri fanart of Yumemita and say it's canon. Fanart is cheating. Everything is yuri if fanart counts
>>4601399It is, incest kino even.
>>4601421>Everything is yuri if fanart countsThen fanart does count, for everything.
>>4601424This isn't canon so MyGO sucks
>>460142199.99% of fanworks are incapable of achieving true depth and can't do this. The manga is question is special.
The student council room was empty, save for the hum of the air conditioner."Soyo-rin, look at me," Anon pleaded, dropping her chin into her hands. "The spreadsheets can wait. I’m suffering from a severe lack of attention."Soyo set her pen down with a quiet sigh. "Anon-chan, we have ten minutes before the building closes.""Perfect. That’s plenty of time."Anon slid her chair closer, invading Soyo's personal space without a shred of hesitation. She reached out, capturing Soyo’s cold hands in her own warm ones.Soyo didn't pull away. Instead, she let out a breath she felt like she’d been holding all day, her shoulders finally dropping their rigid posture. "You are incredibly distracting.""That's my job," Anon beamed. She leaned in, her eyes softening as she closed the remaining distance. The kiss was quiet and lingering, melting away the lingering stress of the afternoon. Soyo gripped the edge of Anon’s blazer, anchoring herself to the girl who always managed to pull her out of the dark. When they parted, Soyo’s lips curved into a rare, genuine smile. "Okay. Five more minutes."
>>4601318Don't twist things to fit your narrative; nobody said what you're claiming, and it isn't, nor will it ever be about "coexisting plotlines." Otherside Picnic and Kannazuki no Miko are yuri series, plain and simple. Do you really think yuri series are only about romance? That there can't be yuri series that span other genres at the same time? Where have you been for the last 30 years?
>>4601359>>4601402>>4601403>>4601408So much rubbish written, only to say nothing of value. There is a minor issue one that a lack of exposure to other series has caused people to overlook: the inclusion of even a minimal amount of yuri isn't actually mandatory. Many series feature nothing more than plain, simple friendshipor even something "worse, like het or het related content. I’m not advocating for complacency, but now that there are more titles featuring some level of yur , we shouldn't pretend it’s an obligation especially considering that money always comes first.
>>4601405To put it that way is dishonest and misleading.>>4601423This is even more dishonest.>>4601399You have to consider a few things: this is an adaptation of an eroge (visual novel). The original was het with all that entails, including a generic male protagonist typical of that era. However, the adaptation leaves the guy out and focuses on the two girls and their journey through other worlds to find the "sister" (one is a fake sister, while the other is the real one). It features erotic designs, big boobs, and the usual tropes of the time; there is yuri, but let's not pretend there isn't het too especially involving the antagonist. In the end, the journey is completely pointless, since Hazuki is nothing but a selfish bitch who keeps being born into different worlds for fun, not giving a damn about the negative impact she leaves behind—not even regarding her own sister, whom she treated like trash and only decided to bring along at the very last moment. Meanwhile, the protagonist gets a miserable night of "pleasure" and is now left to give birth to the "new" Hazuki who won't actually be Hazuki just like the ones Hazuki has been scattering across other worlds.
You cannot spell 'canon' without 'anon'
>>4601433>>4601437>playing semantics>yuri fans in the yuri board shouldn't want yuri in their storiesBehold, Bandoritards. This is how they defend their "masterpieces". >just shut up and who cares if it has no yuri. Eath the slop (yumemita is slop, too) and agree with the hivemind that is masterpieceTruly, Mygotards going mask off is great. Shows how little they care for yuri. Only about praising "muh writing" . Clearly MyGo and Bandori as a whole has been exposed as overrated by retard
>>4601439>dishonest and misleading>posts stiory summary that goes "yes no yuri. girl getx impregnated by a man, the end"The girl not liking the experience doesn't change jackshit>>4601429What a boring nothingburger.v This is good for bandoritardx? Thanks for proving you people's idea of quality is insane. Any yuri fanart is better >>4601428>muh ultra divine fanfic is special because MyGo is divine special. Shut up and stop questioningYou sound like a deranged cultist. Your manga is probably shit and worse than any yuri hentai doujin. Nothing that is defended as the "one good thing ever unlike others" is actually worth shit

>>4601487>>4601488https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bKgWm5TNeBA
>>4601488>>The girl not liking the experience doesn't change jackshitKid, she literally has sex with a girl, if she gets pregnant, then she was impregnated by a girl, that girl was Hazuki to give birth to another Hazuki, it doesn't make it a yuri ending, but it also doesn't make it het as some want to pretend.
>>4601486I don't understand how people want to pretend there's nothing between the two of them. A real episode establishes the dynamic between them, and even Ganso jokes about the idea that Anon can't imagine Soyo being a good and sweet girl.
>>4601510Honestly the friends to lovers trope is so good. There's real chemistry and a lot of tension between them, it's the perfect setup. Not to mention that Anon indirectly saved Soyo from her Crychic trauma. Imagine the hatehandholding.
>>4601560What I like about them, and what many seem to forget, is that they are both similar as people, something they recognize. They are a good combination because they are the type of people who won't find anyone else who truly understands them as they are, especially since, despite being similar, one is somewhat silly and the other somewhat cynical.
>>4601566True, they handled their relationship well for a multimedia project with real artist contracts and live events. It was the turning point in the series and I hope the next Mujica installment will go bolder and deliver even more.
Finally got around to watching yumemita 13 and kimishinu 10 >Yumemita Better than I thought it'd be. Now that we're past all the drama I really like their group dynamic, especially that conversation before the concert. I wish we got to see more of it>KimishinuLight, fluffy and very good episode. Was that kiss in the basement anime original? I don't remember that from the manga
>MyGo tards mass reporting and deleting posts that go against their cultAmazing. I wish I watched whatever weirdo version of MyGO you people watched. Because the one I watched made in this universe was a dissapointment and nothingburgerGuess it's the "grounded, no caricature emotions" shit. All the "caricature emotions" helps sell yuri subtext well. But when you go for grounded, subtext is reduced to nothing and you need to be willing to make your franchise yuri instead of subtext. Because Bushiroad will never cross the line, MyGO is a big nothingburger. Grounded is incredbly bad for subtext
Is there yuri in dorohedoro
>>4601718Nope sadly.
>>4601701It's just the Anontard from /a/ trying to push his ansy crack here
>>4601701>>4601732
>>4601718It has Hetsubtext men and women calling each other friends without any issue. The series is useful for showing just how hypocritical Hetfags are.
>>4601758Oh no. Someone is crying.
>>4601758Everything by this artist is so good
