The official CPK manga spin-off "Chou Kaguya Meshi!" released its second free chapter. It is delightful and very yuri. Also confirmed Kaguyabot is actually a bioroid.https://mangadex.org/chapter/c7cbf541-f2f2-463e-be84-b50fdb133719The blu-ray finally released and there are torrents in the paste for anyone who wants to finally get better video and audio quality!Alongside the BD came bonus features, like a 30 minute movie commentary by the main trio (in character), a duet version of Reply for IroKagu and some cut scenes that didn't make it into the Netflix release. All are in the paste as well, though I want to share the IroKagu duet immediately:https://drive.google.com/file/d/1SjAf2jeTBeQ6Uz3v21ht8pOaWGmiTyal/viewTsukuyomi VRchat world just released its Tutorial area. The Thanksgivintg Festival concert was announced for 26th of December where Kaguya, Iroha and Yachiyo will give a live performance that will be streamed on VRchat and youtube!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tx0C84NfjEYhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ICkFdr2nJkThe movie Revival Screening has begun and the movie's box office has now already exceeded 3 billion yen! The 4DX theater experience seems to be especially amazing. Oh to live in Japan and be conviently near a Ultra 4DX comaptible theater... Kaguya and Iroha will explain the many different theater experiences here:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VeEjNp3XrvIAnyway, there is a new theater greeting by the main cast available on Youtube:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Nx2t1n4F_EOh and... Yachiyo's birthday was revealed to be August 32nd.
I would say "Wow CPK fanart exploded after the Revival Screening started!", but it literally never stopped exploding. This is the longest explosion since the Big Bang.
Threadly reminder. Official source. >You are my Kaguya>I am Iroha's Kaguya
>>4607949It's true, Iroha legally owns her android body.
>>4607955You can never own a soul though. That can only be possessed by mutual love.
>>4607946So if Kaguya is a bioroid does she need to eat to survive? Or can she still just plug in a charger?
>>4607962....are you asking if Kaguya is a plug-in hybrid?
This is wonderful, but also I feel like I'm intruding.
>>4607958Well, I didn't win, here's your free pizza!
>>4608012But /u/ did win!
>>4608021>>4608021That's okay, the box is empty!
>>4607992Where'd you get the high quality scanlation? The one on Mangadex is much worse.
>>4607946Can you do VRchat stuff without a VR headset? I think I heard you can play some stuff in it with a third person view.
>>4608050Yeah you can get it on steam and play with a mouse and keyboard in first person or third person. Worked fine for the virtual concert earlier this year.
>>4608051That's pretty cool. The VR games probably won't work that way, but I'm definitely gonna be at the concert in December then~

>>4607944I have a question. When do anons think Iroha fell in love with Kaguya? I am aware that falling in love is usually a gradual process and falling in love in an instant like Kaguya did is quite rare, but for the sake of argument, let's assume that there was a moment where the switch was flipped, where Iroha truly fell for Kaguya and went beyond mere affection. To me the visual language of the movie speaks for itself. Kaguya was confirmed by official sources to have fallen for Iroha in that moment where she watched her determined expression and thought she was truly beautiful. But Iroha also has a moment like that. During the performance of Ex-Otogibanashi, when Kaguya pulls her along full of joy and exuberant pure life energy, something in stark contrast with everything Iroha is at this point... she sees Kaguya's lovely expression and the music literally returns to her eyes. Music is a symbol for Iroha's pure emotion and love. It's something she denied herself for so long, simply living for survival and achievements. But that love she sealed away was pried free by Kaguya. That's why in this moment where she watches Kaguya live life to the fullest, only existing in this very moment... that's when Iroha truly fell in love with her. In my opinion. That's why she reacted that way to the confession. She was aware Kaguya liked her, but this time it was different, it was clearly a romantic sentiment and Iroha's emotions are in complete disarray, because she feels the same way and can't fathom how her heart got there.
>>4608039It is the one from mangadex. Maybe you have some weird settings on?
>>4608147Well, there was this line from Iroha in the LN>不思議だね。かぐやとはいろんなことがあって、いっぱい怒って、いっぱい腹立って、いっぱい困らせられたけど、それでもずっと、最初から好きだったきがする。かぐやはどう?(I retyped it, so sorry if there's any typos). So, from the beginning on some level, I suppose.
>>4608191Hm. Seems when I open the image on mangadex itself the quality drastically decreases.
>>4608192I didnt really factor the novel into it, but that line always seemed like a retrocactive realisation to me. Far less "This is when I fell in love" and more "I probably liked you all along". The explicit moment where she fell though I feel, would have to be separate. We know already that by the time of the graduation live she was head over heels for Kaguya, as the exchange with Yachiyo there proves. And I genuinely don't like the interpretation that Iroha fell in love with 10 year old Kaguya on the first night she could talk. There is just no indication of this at all.So it would have be somewhere inbetween. And the movie's visual language is only giving me so many moments.I think the absolute earliest possible scene where I can see Iroha developing genuine attraction to Kaguya is when she first plays the keyboard for her and Kaguya wants to drag her into doing music together. That was the first true heart to heart they had.
>>4608196Sorry anon it's the middle of the night for me so I probably shouldn't be posting, but I didn't mean to say she was feeling romantic love for the young Kaguya, just that she was feeling love on some level all along. The concert performance with Yachiyo and Kaguya is probably a reasonable time to imagine her starting to lean toward romantic feelings. Definitely by the fireworks scene. It'd be interesting to know when that flashback we got recently where she's playing video games with Kaguya leaning against her chest takes place within the timeline of the movie, because it seemed like a pretty casually intimate thing for them to be doing.
>>4608197Casual intimacy is a pervsive dynamic for IroKagu since very early on actually. From sleeping in the same futon together to Iroha holding Kaguya's hand when they first log into Tsukuyomi. Perhaps it is because Iroha jumped a few intimacy hurdles by raising Kaguya as a baby for 2 days. Later on they do their "special handsign" together without much hesitation in the real world too. By the time of their shared appartment they casually hug and Kaguya still insists on sleeping with Iroha despite having separate rooms (this is the newly wed life stage of their relationship to me).So that flashback from Kaguya Meshi chapter 0 probably takes place during the Yachiyo Cup. IroKagu are too chilld for the Lunarians to have set their ultimatum already, yet they are close enough to RokaMami to stay over. The Yachiyo Cup had many scenes in the montage that showed Kaguya befriending Roka and Mami properly, even hanging out with them without Iroha's presence.
>when you raise your girlfriend from when she's a baby and also get to be with her when she's oldVery strange relationship honestly.
>>4608255She was a baby for 1 1/2 days. Iroha did not see her actually grow up over a long time, so from her perspective it's basically like the baby and her girlfriend are two different beings. The same would have gone for Yachiyo if Iroha had not experienced her 8000 years firsthand via memory transfer.
I really would have liked to see more interactions between young Kaguya and FUSHI. I think FUSHI desperately wanted to be close to her, but it just had to hold back with all its might. And now it's too late... they will never meet again. There is only Yachiyo now.
>>4608255A couple of days doesn't exactly constitute raising, and Kaguya had a job on the moon so she wasn't even a real baby, just a person who got stuck in a baby form temporarily.
>>4608289Well we have a chance to see a few more in flashback format in Meshi. Not sure if they will show that though, I feel Fushi gets overlooked a bit.
>>4608293It's so sad, because FUSHI is probably the most important plot device in the whole movie. It literally was the reason Kaguya could interact with people for 8000 years and it was also the reason Iroha found Yachiyo and could see her memories. FUSHI is so vital to the happy ending of the movie, yet it's kinda treated like a gag character.Whenever I read that excerpt in the Guidebook about how FUSHI is acting standoffish so it wouldn't cry all the time I get teary eyed myself...Rather than wasting time making a separate Yachiyo body for no reason, Iroha should make a physical body for FUSHI. Preferably a loli.
>>4608294I agree they should give Fushi a body. Personally I imagine it being some kind of robot animal since Fushi chooses to use an animal avatar in Tsukuyomi and it was originally a pet dog, but without the ability to programmatically manipulate stuff in Tsukuyomi maybe it would want opposable thumbs.
>>4608297I would prefer FUSHI being elevated from pet to surrogate daughter. There were many gags early on about how InuDOGE was born from IroKagu (Iroha's money + Kaguya's programming lol).

>>4607944Since the blue-ray is out now I decided to give it another rewatch for the first time in maybe 6 months. Somehow it made me cry more this time around. This movie really is something special.
>>4608492I wonder, does the Ray MV automatically play after the BD movie version too like it does on Netflix now? I havent downloaded it because 80GB for one movie is a bit much space.
>>4608323A little bit shading makes all the difference. Yachiyo isnt that flat tho
>>4608504Not with the version I downloaded. The only difference I noticed is that the fakeout ending is the credits instead of the netflix preview thing.
>>4608507That's unfortunate. You would want the BD version to be the ultimate experience with everything included. They should honestly have put all the music videos on it, not just the IroKagu ver. of Reply.
Should I pull the trigger? They seem to look nice for prize figure-tier (100€ for all three).
>>4608565I've seen some real world version figurines too that are very cute. But I am not really someone who collects this stuff so I dont know what's a normal price range. Just buy what you like within your means anonette.
>>4608301It is kinda funny to see Iroha say "you like this kind of stuff". Of course she means being pampered, but the way the dialogue goes it really sounds like baby play lol
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0v28kUayNnYThis continues to be the best trailer for a movie I have ever seen. Unironically. It condesnes the emotion of the whole movie into under 2 minutes. It's like experiencing all of CPK at once.

>>4608732That was a LOT. But it's done now. What a terrific commentary that actually cleared up a dozen major questions!
Thanks for the hard work, anon.>>4608728lmao, I guess all those pics and doujins where Iroha has sex specifically with Yachiyo in the black shirt were on to something.
>>4608728She really made a plain black t-shirt look so good.
That was really good.>>4608734This is one of the few times where I've seen this kind of line come across as authentic. In most works it feels like a cynical way to dismiss any hints of romance, but here it feels like they instead want to avoid dismissing any part of their relationship: romance, friendship, being mother figures to one another. They don't even shy away from depicting the physical attraction here (like in >>4608684 and >>4608728)
>>4608754I can't believe we got confirmation that Iroha has a kink for black T-shirt Yaccho. Absolutely phenomenal.
>>4608774I thought the same thing. IroKagu's relationship is ACTUALLY complex. They don't even remotely avoid the fact that they are in love or that they are basically a life logn couple, but there are so many extra layers that cannot be put into words. Unlike those subtext yuri works where the "no lables" thing is a cowardly avoidance of having to actually confront what is happening, IroKagu are way beyond any shadow of a doubt. Romantic confessions, casual sexual attraction, vows to spend their lives together and make each other happy... they have openly taken every step.I also think this is a jab at Momii specifically though who probably expects rigid relationship dynamics that fit into her worldview. And that is simply not happening with the alien princess from the moon in a bioroid body and the genius scientist who changes the world over and over with her discoveries.
>>4608676So right off the bat this is probably the biggest bombshell for several reasons. The anon who said that Iroha is making a YC type body was correct.BUTAnd this is a big BUTThese are NOT seperate entities. They confirm here again what the official art already implied. Parallel Processing. Kaguya is controlling both of these versions of herself at the same time. She is using Yachiyo's cloning ability to achieve this. Their thoughts are literally linked, but because of their different bodies they have natural inclinations to act a bit differently, because physicality does lead to different experience. This still ostensibly means Kaguya is roleplaying as two people. They obiously hammed it up for the commentary, which is already very meta, but essentially, these "two" would know each others thoughts and not actually see each other as two separate entities.I love how Iroha calls it "occult" because of how pseudo-sciency this is. lolAs for why Iroha is making a Yachiyo body... it's a bit hard to follow. Is it because she just really wants Yachiyo's presence to be permanent, with the actual Kaguya in control instead of the AI mode they created? Or is it just so Kaguya can play at being Yachiyo whenever she wants? As Kaguya's soul from the ship is inside the Kaguyabot already, YC body will always just be a remote controlled copy, not her real self.
People talk about maximalism in different genres, but I feel like that term applies to this movie honestly. It's incredibly dense already (in both content and visuals) but then you have all the stuff from this commentary. The only thing I could maybe see improved is I felt some of the action scenes were a bit hard to follow. The movie is definitely on the more difficult side to watch with subs, though it doesn't help that Netflix's subs are pretty poor in terms of design. There's a lot of text on screen that they don't even bother translating (or only translate it partially). Hopefully we eventually get better subs. >>4608879>in a bioroid bodySo how biologically accurate did Iroha make Kaguya's new body to her old one? Did she even have anything to go by from when they were living together?
>>4608887It's depth also comes from its multimedia roots. Every song has double meanings, depth and purpose, especially the full versions. The Light Novel adds so much extra context. The spin-off manga fleshes out the post ending world too. It almost feels like the movie itself is perfectly contained but every bit added to it somehow makes it greater retroactively. >subs are hard to followWhile there is some text that isnt translated I think the overall dialogue is perfectly executed. aas long as you pick the correct English subtitle track. Dont use the subs for the English dub. >How biologically accurate is Kagubot?Well for one she can actually process food and she is mortal now, so it would have either a decaying process or some kind of aging with a bilogical timer. Or perhaps she doesnt age, but can at least die, maybe choosing her moment to go. She has all 6 senses. She can feel tired and needs sleep (although this was true even foe virtual Yachiyo). I am fairly confident that with Iroha's meticulous nature and erotic mind she also implementes fully functional genitals. Though we probably wont get confirmation on that for some obvious reasons.
>>4608888>She has all 6 sensesSpider sense too?
>>4608890Balance is actually scientifically humanity's sxith sense. It was never 5 senses.
>>4608726I think it's absolutely bonkers that Lunarians apparently have it burned into their DNA that they cant mess with time paradoxes. Feels like a bit or an overcorrection to explain why Yachiyo absolutely did not try to change anything, even tho the normal explanation that it would create a worse paradox is more than enough.
>>4608707>Even though our feelings were mutualIt's so nice to have this callback to the LN. We never got Yachiyo'a realization in the movie.
>>4608694The way Yachiyo talks about her Kaguya self really has a level of narcissism to it, even if she is doing it more in self-deprecation. I think those selfcest artists may have some leverage actually...
https://x.com/VDB_141/status/2105172010175525142
>>4608961
>>4608724Is Hime supposed to be the head honcho in the middle? Like the "proper" moon princess as opposed to Kaguya who is a rebellious brat?
>>4608971I think Hime is mentioned in the light novel. She helped her make the spaceship there. The fact that she also hated living on the moon wasnt mentioned though.
Can we acknowledge how wild it is that Kaugya INVENTED time travel? Everyone thought that Lunarians just naturally had tech that advanced, because of how casual Yachiyo was about it, but... kaguya is the level of genius who can build a true time travel capable space ship in a super advanced race that can't do that.People go on about how absurd Iroha is, but Kaguya is a genius in her own regard. This also helps make the asteroid crash less contrived. Like Kaguya says in the commentary, this was a slipshod completely new technology that was not even guaranteed to work properly and so stuff like predictive flight paths and stuff probably didn't even get factored in when she launched. She just assumed she would travel back in time before anything could get between her and Earth.
>>4608971Apparently it's the "wind up" copy of herself that she made that was shown in Yachiyo's recap.Kaguya basically discovered her cloning ability there and worked with herself to develop the space ship and time travel.Kinda of sucks though to imagine that that copy stayed behind on the moon forever though...
>>4609309It's funny to imagine all the other lunarians were fooled into thinking it's her for eternity.
>>4609341I mean... it's like the Yachiyo clones. It's actually her. Though this seems eithe rmore rudimentary or like a true consciousness split.
>>4609095It's crazy to me that this artist still insists on the height gape that doesnt exist.
>>4609382I know that this is an autistic nitpick but it bothers me when anime completely ignores how height works in real life and just makes anyone over 18 get taller. Most girls stop getting taller around 15. Iroha is 17. It would be highly unusual for her to gain any significant height during the timeskip.
>>4609402Nah, most people keep growing till 20 and growth spurts can happen all the way untol 25. But we know that Iroha aged up Kaguya's body to that of an adult because they are the same height and proportions in all post-time skip scenes and manga appearances.
>>4609408I'm talking about statistics--height gain after 15 for females is generally negligible. You can see the growth curve in picrel.>The average female growth rate decays off to zero at about 15 or 16 years, whereas the average male curve continues for approximately 3 more years, going to zero at about 18−19, although there is limited research to suggest minor height growth after the age of 19 in males.[17]
>>4609411Some random graph from 2000 for an unspecified country really doesn't impress me anon. Even if this average was accurate, which it is not, it is just that: An Average. I have seen lcountless examples in real life. That stupid graph acts like women above 175cm dont even exist too. That's how stupid it is to go by very limited medians. You know how in Asian nations the average is in thr 150s, while Scandinavian averages are in the 170s? That also means the extremes go much higher or lower there. The same goes for growth spurts.
>>4609465I'm not really sure we're disagreeing with each other anon? I said it would be highly unusual for Iroha to have any significant change in height, as in, statistically improbable. Like the way that artist drew Iroha next to Kaguya, she looked to be 12+ inches taller than she was at 17.https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC5811819/ (2017)>Fifty years of child height and weight in Japan and South Korea: Contrasting secular trend patterns analyzed by SITARPicrel, observe bottom left curves.https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/16225203/ (2005)> This study evaluates epiphyseal fusion of the distal tibia and fibula in 570 European-, African-, and Mexican-American children and young adults. Radiographs of 270 females aged 9 to 17 and 300 males aged 11 to 20 were analyzed to assess the range of variation of epiphyseal fusion at each age. Results indicate that complete fusion in females occurs as early as 12 years in the distal tibia and fibula. All females demonstrated complete fusion by 16 years with no significant differences between ancestral groups. (Epiphyseal fusion = growth plate closure. This is not specific to Japanese women and there are other growth plates to consider, but still interesting data.)>I have seen lcountless examples in real life. That's cool, I've never met a woman irl who got taller than like an inch after teenage years, so I'm interested. How many inches or cm did they gain?

>>4609508Whart exactly do you mean by Split Safe...?
>>4609509On a scale describing the splitedness of Kaguya/Yachiyo it sits on the lower end.
>>4609402It's an artistic convention, just like how in ancient Egyptian art the pharoh is drawn giant compared to other people. A 27 year old occupies a much different place in the social hierarchy than a 27 year old, so naturally she must be depicted as taller. Either that or Japanese artists learned biology from >>4609408.>>4609509NTA but guessing she's asking if it depicts Kaguya and Yachiyo as separate ("split") entities.
>>4609513>It's an artistic convention, just like how in ancient Egyptian art the pharoh is drawn giant compared to other peopleYeah I understand. They (character designers) want to represent the transition from teenage to adult so they just make their characters a whole head taller sometimes and call it a day. The commentary even confirmed that Yachiyo can mind wipe people through their smart contacts. Good thing she is a moral person or she could have used this to do some very unsavory things and immediately made people forget.
>>4610227D'you think she did things to Iroha and kept erasing her memory? Sounds like one hell of a doujin premise.

I got a bluray rip and they changed the fake out credits to be normal looking credits instead of looking like Netflix. I can't remember the last time I watched something on Netflix, so having the fake Netflix end stuff on my first watch didn't do as much for me as these normal looking credits would have. I imagine the theatre run used these normal credits too.
>>4610351Are there any other changes conpared to the Netflix version? Other than the higher quality.

Obviously Momiji knows about Kaguya, because Iroha devoted her whole life to making her a body and all and she asked what their relationship is, but this is the first time its hinted at that they actually know each other.
>>4608683>Iroha wondering how long she would have survived without Yachiyo and Kaguya>maybe not even middle schoolGrim...>>4608686If Iroha is a perfect student, wouldnt she also have aced cooking in Home Ec class? >>4608712>I still don't have a place of my own thoughThis is the only thing in the whole commentary that gives me pause. I really don't get it. Is this implying Kaguya wants to live separately from Iroha? Why? This line seems to random and out of character. Maybe a mistranslation?
>>4610518I just listened to it and I think what they were going for was Kaguya still doesn't rent on her own, emphasis on continuing to live with Iroha. It would just be weird otherwise.
>>4610518Kaguya must learn independence by moving away from Iroha. Don't worry, they'll see each other again, sometime in the future.

>>4608712>>4610518It's a mistranslation. They probably misheard 今も自宅なんやけど(It's still my place) as 今も自宅ないやけど(I still don't have a place).

>>4610540Oh I misheard as well. Alright that makes a lot more sense.
>>46105358000 years of separation is "far" enough for Kaguya. Not to mention she crash landed in bumfuck nowhere.>>4610538>Go away LaraI like your pun
>>4610540The transcript also missed Iroha's next line "That's the worst", the full context is that Kaguya still considered their apartment her home as opposed to the moon.
>>4610551I suppose the "That's the worst" part is how Kaguya claims the appartment as hers despite Iroha paying for it now lolI noticed that another thing that I saw in other summaries of the commentary also didnt appear in this transcirpt, mainly the exchange that proves it wasn't Yachiyo guiding Kaguya through the telephone lines.
>>4610551The "that's the worst" was just Iroha's line within the movie where she complained about all the stuff Kaguya did before she gets the cash transfer and breaks down crying, not the commentary track, right?
>>4610551I'm pretty sure "That's the worst" is a line from the actual movie during that scene and not the commentary.>>4610554
>>4610554>>4610556Oh right, I mixed it up with the commentary because it's randomly much higher volume than the rest of the movie lines.

Thank you for dumping.>Kaguya's body is able to get fatArchitect Iroha...
I know it's a cooking manga, but the cooking parts are annoying. I hate Jap's obssession with this stuff. If I wanted a recipe for Indian food I would look it up in the cookbook.
>>4611406They're really doubling down on Iroha being an alcoholic... I guess with her background of stress it was expected. At least she isn't a smoker.
Well, I don't care too much about cooking, but it did make me want biryani. Good to know how realistic Kaguya's body works. Thank you for the rip anon
>>4611400That is rather humorous
>>4611408Ohhh, I actually really love Kaguya's casual intervention with taking the beer away. That's very Yachiyo like, subtly moving things while distracting. She has probably seen countless people drink themselves to death across history...
>>4611416>いろは変態?So close to Eroha being used officially.
>>4611415I can't believe Iroha actually implemented a fat accumulation feature... just how human is this "bioroid"?! Kaguya really thought she could get away with eating without limit. I wonder if her original body before going back to the moon was capable of never getting fat because of how weird it was.
>>4611413>>4611418Wait, so Kaguya can drink alcohol now? That means there has to have been a considerable time skip since the last chapter where that feature was still not ready.
>>4611416>>4611431She legit called her hentai here... I do understand that the term, just like perversion in English, can just be used for a twisted behaviour, but I can't really see this as anything but a joke about Iroha having a fetish. Which means Kaguya acknowledges Iroha's attraction to her physically.Obviously she doesnt actually think Iroha has a feeder fetish, but unless it is just meant as a mild "you weirdo", it at the very least is a pretty interesting way to phrase it.Also love Iroha's absolute lack of compromise. If Kaguya got away with preparing only unhealthy food for them without consequence, only Iroha would gain weight.
>>4611417Hmm... I wonder if the AC activating reminded Iroha of their time in the hot one-room appartment....also this last line implies Kaguya can also get sunburn.
>>4611408I love how we don't just get to see Kaguya act a little more like Yachiyo sometimes, Iroha is also acting a lot more like Kaguya now. She did the smug peace sign thing last chapter, and now she's sulking like Kaguya too.>>4611414Okay, so tablet Yachiyo is also actually tasting the food here. Interesting, interesting...
>>4611444>Yachiyo tastes tooEstablished since chapter 0. And due to movie commentary we now know that it's parallel processing, which is why Kaguya and Yachiyo are perfectly synced. You can basically see Yachiyo follow up on Kaguya's lines sometimes as if she is finishing her thoughts.
>>4611446Are there already doujins where Yachiyo also cums when Kaguya does? Otherwise artists should really get on it using this official information.
We are blessed to get a whole chapter of ponytail Kaguya.
I seriously hope that not all the chapters will turn into this cooking tutorial drag. I enjoy IroKagu's interactions, but reading 6 pages of cooking instructions is tedious at best. Chapter 1 was nice because it was carries by the character moments and the guydon was just a vehicle for them. Not that I disliked this chapter, but there wasnt a single second in the movie or Light Novel where I was bored. Meanwhile I skipped reading a bunch of panels in this chapter. I think there is a better way to convey this even in the limites manga medium. There are lopular cooking manga that can do it. Kaguya Meshi can do it too.
>>4611496Kaguya wanted to eat something exotic and cook it herself. I don't think they'll show the whole process whenever they go eat out or it's something typical to them.
>>4611446>parallel processingwhat exactly does that mean? and why would she larp as two person constantly?
>>4611513Iroha seemed pretty devastated when she found out that the Kaguya she was with wasn't there anymore. So maybe it's partially for Iroha's sake. But also Yachiyo wanted to experience the real world again. To eat pancakes and touch Iroha again with the warmth you get with a body. At the end of the movie only the Kaguyabot has an actual, physical body. The Yachiyo there is a hologram or something.
>>4611523Anon didnt ask why she got a body. He asked why Yachiyo is also being operated at the same time. Iroha already sees Yachiyo as her Kaguya so your explanation is stupud anyway.
>>4611513Reas the movie commentary posts earlier this thread. >larping as two peopleShe isnt. It's just one of her clones. There is never a time where anybody pretends they are two separate people.
If they really are the same person and Iroha sees Yachiyo as her Kaguya why would they need to boot up two instances of Kaguya and have one cosplaying as Yachiyo **in their private time**? I can't come up with an explanation that wouldn't downgrade the movie's conclusion. They also said in ch0 that they need to work on some feed back to Yachiyo(I assume it's the taste signal?). This just seem like they're completely split to me even with the parallel processing(very vague, ill-defined phrase btw) shenanigan.
>>4611686>whyin this chapter it's to test the sense sharing from Kaguya to Yachiyo, as you pointed out yourself. the overall reason is obviously to have a sensory sharing threesome.
From the mangaka
>>4611689>inuDOGE apronI never even noticed!
>>4611686If you thought about it at all and remembered what was already discussed you'd maybe remember that they want to keep the Yachiyo persona around for Tsukuyomi's affairs and that Kaguya can either assume direct control or let the AI version keep doing the work. Yachiyo needs to have the same experiences as Kaguya exactly to avoid becoming distinct. The movie commentary also pointed out that to Iroha having both around is just how she feels the most comfortable. Though it is vague what she really means by that.>ill defined parallel processingIt is actually extremely clearcut.
>>4611698>Iroha having both around is just how she feels the most comfortableIroharem
>>4611709She can't keep getting away with it.
Iroha has been dating "Yachyio" for 10 years at this point. Far longer than she has been dating "Kaguya" lookswise. They are the same person, but Iroha's attraction to Yachiyo's appearance should be just as real. It's like your gf got a complete makeover.
>>4611710She can

Chapter 2 of Chou Kaguya Meshi translated:https://mangadex.org/chapter/53e7da77-7cbe-40ca-9beb-34c2ca981de6
>>4611977That was quick! Especially for a chapter with this much mind numbing background text.
>>4611977Oh this trivia page is a pretty good addition. I honestly didn't even connect Iroha's comment about the sunburn to the fact that Kaguya originally couldn't get sunburned in the movie.
>>4611980There's some spicy scanlator drama going on in the comments. This is from the first group that did chapter 1, in that case they waited over half a month and did it when they thought the group that did chapter 0 had dropped it. Now it's a proper snipe and they copied the first group's fonts to make it look more like their release.
>>4612035Frankly, their translation of chapter 1 was better, so that's fine by me. I'm not someone who begs for faster releases, but taking a month and somehow getting the difference between Oji-san and Oba-san wrong or erasing the baby talk from Iroha's lines was weird.

https://x.com/cake_eheheh/status/2108821259593396666 Cute fan animation of Iroha feeding Kaguya various foods.
>>4612035Very silly drama. It would be one thing if they were pretending to be the other group (for whatever reason), but just using the same fonts because it supposedly looks better isn't anything to create drama about.
>>4612059I'm looking forward to it, but because Roka's portrayal in the movie and in the fandom is so mismatched I am also a bit cautious. I think a lot of people will lean way too much into this depressed and sad Roka, when in the movie she is perfectly happy to support IroKagu, because the girl she loves finally healed.

There is not nearly enough marriage art for this franchise. I think fans just inherentl feel comfortable with IroKagu being lovers without married status? I do get the complications with Kaguya's identity, but if she can make a bank account she can get wedding certificates. She is a super alien hacker, so she can just mess with the government database for sure. That the canon will never acknowledge marriage is unfortunate though.
>>4614790How much more common is it even for other franchises? I've seen several, but I think people would just prefer the normal day to day interactions or sex. And just because they don't draw it doesn't mean they're assuming it never happened.
>>4614792Most fandoms, especially with canon yuri, have plenty of wedding art/doujins/fanfics. Even just showing wedding rings in art is super common.I just find it a bit strange how little art of it there is. They are basically living like a married couple, so maybe that takes away a lot of the need people usually feel to draw domestic married life art.
