Though artists ship Leda and Olympia, Leda really is thinking about Mu first the whole time.In act 2, the very first thing she does after saying she will join the war, is tell Mu she's not coming (because she's too young), and then later at camp I remember Leda's reply to being told to get some food being something like "good, I've got a growing girl to feed" or something like that. Also, I just saw Leda x Olympia paired ending and it's basically "they still can't cook so they eat at restaurants together".

Speaking of Fortune's Weave pairings though, are there no populat Eshmel pairings? I think Edeleth was the most dominant pairing by a country mile in Three Houses. While I appreciate non-self-insert ships more myself, I just find it odd that nobody brings the protag ships up at all. Like some guy going on about how we only got Leda and some scraps, but there are literally 8 or so yuri pairings for Eshmel.

There is also the fact that she is technically immortal/long lived till she isn't needed anymore, so she is going to outlive almost any lover unless they are a dragon or another divine being. That's the kind of drama that yuri fanfiction thrives on.

They are stretched way too thin trying to do too much with little to show for it. 8 routes should have never been anything but a funny idea in the walk across the street from IS to Nintendo HQ for the pitch meeting, to say nothing of the four that actually got made. You have all the busy work of 3H, especially Cai and Theodora whose route gimmicks involve fucking around on the world map, but you don't get the benefits of lots of supports and character interactions for doing the busy work outside of feeding and the theater. It's just a slow grind to getting supports and renown up so you can recruit a character. Characters barely have wide-cast interactions even with the ones that the game just shoves in your face(e.g. Guzran, Catania)Also every Fire Emblem had its dud systems. 3H had master classes of questionable worth but here the growth rates are all over the place to the point people joke about just shoving everybody into brigand just to fix strength growths, mages are more useful as just heal dispensers for physical units, axes serve zero value outside of just making sure someone can swing a hammer once in a while to soften up armor units and you might as well just give any axe user a sword or lance, etc.
