Which Rorona would you have a 30-year-long platonic friendship with?
>>739337861Why does the far right exist? Nobody wants a Rorona that old.
#3. Nothing is exciting anymore when you are an adult.
#2, I really like that design and she could be a great friend with some life experience.
>>739337861#2. Totori was my first Atelier and Rorona's my favourite.
>>739337861If you pick the youngest you'll eventually get all of them anywaysYou'll have to eat healthy and exercise a lot for your dick to work for all that time though.
Beautiful art to this day.
>>739337861#3 definitely
>>739337861#1, nothing wrong with me
>>739343973I understood the reference.
stealth pedo thread
Glad to see you're having fun, Roronanon.
>>739347301Right, just posting a lot of Rorona. I like her designs and voice.
>>739337861the tight one
>>739347363But do you like the games? Or are you a mentally ill faggot that saves 5000 pictures and masturbates furiously to them and doesn't give a single fuck about the games. I feel like this board is hopeless and everyone is like this. Which sucks, because the Atelier fanbase is already pretty small.
>>739348265You called me a ''mentally ill faggot'' which is an inflammatory and unnecessary response that may be classified as trolling, but JUST this once, I'll say that, yes, I care about Atelier to an extent, I've played some games and I consider them enjoyable RPGs.
Can alchemists keep their themselves and their hubbies in shape forever with their shady drugs?
>>739349040Well...for the most part the Atelier games don't have themes or content related to fictional or real drugs that aren't alcohol or tobacco, otherwise the Atelier games would have ''Drug Reference'' as one of the content descriptors like other Japanese games such as Persona 5 and Dark Rose Valkyrie. That said, often the games are ''with alchemy, you can do almost anything'', so, the idea of them making some kind of drug to keep themselves in shape or young isn't ridiculous or impossible.
>gust threads only survive on botpostinglel
>>739351590That wasn't a bot...
>>739337861I'm convinced Gust hates Rorona. Lulua the game confirmed it for me.
>>739352121I never played it. Is Rorona a playable character in Atelier Lulua?
>>739352237Nice cleavage.
>>739353432If she wanted people to respect her as an adult she would stop wearing that stupid fucking hat.
>>739353528How dare you, her hat is great.
>>739337861FriendzoneFriendzoneSEXOFriendzone
>>739352238Yes. I still wish Niko and Ficus were dropped for characters fans actually liked from the trilogy like Mimi.
>>739354031I see. Rorona is playable but not Mimi.
>>739356545The Roronas are here.
>>739354031Mimi is so pretty.
>>739359176Oof.
I dropped her game after she became cabbage queen or whatever.
>>739359176>weak, helpless, stupids-stop I can only get so erect
There's nobody finer than my Rorolina.
>>739359176reminder, Astrid had no idea Rorona was actually good at alchemy, Astrid just bought her from her parents because she reminded her of her dead teacher. Probably caused the illness she cured in the first place to make it happen.
What about the latest arland game, is it worth playing? Does the game have time management?
>>739362968Meruru is the latest Arland game, and yes its worth playing. no, there aren't any other Arland games after that.
>>739363029>no, there aren't any other Arland games after that.Point taken. I'll play Resle instead.
>>739362709There is nothing morally wrong with selling your daughter to a 40 year old lesbian pedophile for the equivalent of two loaves of bread
cute feets
>>739364002not a footfag, but i would pay money to watch her hold her staff with her feet while she does her alchemy.
>>739364002A lot of people like her cleavage more than her feet, I'm sure.
>>739337861Left due to the amount of exposed legs
>>739364452i like both
>>739364736Okay, I'm happy for you.
>>739365235...okay thanks
>>739365417hot Puni on Taru action right there.
>>739365712lol.
all Atelier girls should be bullied mercilessly by their friends and family.
>>739367806I feel bad for Totori.
>>739365417No problem.
>>739367893don't, she gets off on it.
>>739368665Oh, okay.
>>739367341Oh my...
>>739358748Flat chest or not, yeah.
>>739358748it's a shame we never meet her mom. Imagine a more mature haughty ojou-sama version of Mimi.
>>739371060I agree.
>>739371419Cordelia too honestly, how are you gonna have two rich ojousama characters and have neither of their families be in the story at all.
>platonicno way, I want children and to grow old together.I'm thinking four or five, minimumAlso OL Rorona
>>739337861I have a question, atelierbrosI wanted to get into older gates after really liking Ryza 1 but there's so many of them I can't figure out which one to start with (except for the ones that are like from the 90s, please, I played the maria remake and that was way too old mechanically, even though I loved it)One anon here like a year ago answered the question "which one to start with" with, and I quote:Shallie+ for the best gameplay, Totori and Ayesha for the best story and characters, Rorona+ for the best overall package and introductionDo you agree or disagree with that? I'm curious to hear more opinions from actual core audience of autists that did not come here with fucking Yumia
>>739337861wtf is an 'atelier' anyways? Is it another one of those made-up japanese fake english word like 'prefecture'?
>>739378046It's french
>>739377964I haven't played Totori, Ayesha and Rorona, all I can say is that some people would say that the alchemy in the Mysterious games is the best alchemy, it differs a little from game to game of course but in general the Mysterious games have what some people have called ''alchemy Tetris'', something like that.
>Eats your pies
>>739380087...If you don't play the game.
>>739377964I haven't played Shallie. It's rare that I see much praise for it, and I really disliked the previous game in that trilogy, but they might have managed to turn things around. Of the ones I have played, I think you could make a case for Sophie 2, Firis, or any of the Arland games having the best gameplay.Characters and story are pretty subjective, especially since the series tends to heavily prioritize the former over the latter. Ayesha and Sophie would probably be my top picks.I think Rorona or Ayesha are good entry points.
>>739368554good talk
>>739346625peak
Guru~Guru~
Rorona on the shelf!
>>739377964Arland trilogy is the funniest of the bunch, and I like the time limit plays into the gameplay loop so that's my vote. Ayesha's a very pretty game that isn't quite as fun to play, but isn't a bad pick either
>>739337861All of them.
>>739377964I started with Ayesha so maybe I'm biased but after 10+ Atelier games I would still say that I like it bestIt has some of the best music in the franchise, the characters/story are solid and it has time limit gameplay + multiple workshops on the world map so it feels really engaging to play. Feels like a proper adventure too, idk how to put it exactly but it feels like a step above the rest in many ways
>>739338762i do, step away neph
>>739386405She looks great!

Crazy how for this game the most fappable art comes directly from the game and official artists. Is this technically ecchi?
>>739391058Sure, Atelier games always have at least one or two characters with cleavage and/or revealing designs and some games, especially the Arland games, have fan service in CG images.
>>739387129It's definitely one of the most polished Ateliers, the endgame areas are gorgeous. Also, Keith's a real one
>>739391351I'm a big Sterk fan, but I love Keithgriff almost as much
>>739391494Now that's some good taste.
>>739391351''Use of tobacco'' indeed.
Should I play original Rorona or Plus?I heard Plus is more of a Remake rather than a "Director's Cut". I usually look down on remakes so I'm indecisive for this case. I don't mind the ugly graphics of the original game and I'm concerned if the new gameplay additions might casualize game or if the improvements will make Totori less enjoyable, as it will make it outdated by comparison. Is there a real reason to stick with OG Rorona over Plus?
>>739392646I'll say that in the original getting specific characters endings are tied to whether you get the true/good/normal endings. Like say you want to go after Sterk's ending, you need to get the requirements for the good end which are Assignment Stars <94, Popularity 80+. Now if you hadn't known this and did your very very best to be praised by him you end up locked out of his ending. Like I was the first time around. They changed it so they're no longer tied together for the plus and dx versions
>>739392646I only played original Rorona once as my first entry in the series and I remember moving to Totori feeling like a huge upgrade. Unfortunately that's all I remember about the original. I didn't know what the fuck I was doing while playing through it so I don't remember much about the game mechanically. Rorona Plus's systems and QoLs are reflective of Meruru so going from Rorona Plus to Totori can definitely feel like you're going back in time (there's not even a filter function to find specific traits in Totori, so you have to slowly cycle through all your materials to find what you're looking for).
>>739393157>>739393371Good replies.
>>739391681I wonder what's the context here...
>>739337861Original Rorona, she's perfect hebe age. The loli form would be hot if she had a mature personality to go with it, I like lolibabas, but the potion took most of her memories and she never mentally matured that much to begin with.
Why is she so flat?
>>739396030Clearly you're not talking about Rorona.
>>739396818Why are they all so flat?
One day we will get Arland 5.
>>739396030>>739396993Surely you are talking about the third one or child Rorona right? Rorona has medium breasts.
>>739393157Thanks, I don't think I care about this personally though>>739393371Yeah, exactly, that's one of my concernsBut I see everyone pretty much recommending without a second thought
>>739398126>recommending PlusI meant
>>739398072FLAT
>>739399042Oh wow, if adult or teenager Rorona is ''flat'', then this girl (Lionela) is flat too...
>>739398126The Sterk stuff was just an example, for whatever ending you decide to go for you'll have to look it up and won't be able to do a whole lot on a single playthrough like later games will let you. And I don't remember much about it myself but I recall some anon talking about how the way you put traits on an item is different in the original too
>>739392646>>739400286Managed to find that anon's post about the alchemy in original Rorona
>>739400984Nice!
Sterk gave Rorona a bad price once and he got trapped in the friend zone for 30 years because of it.
>>7393378612. Old enough to take it.
>>739402624Take what?
Pedobait
>>739400984Thanks for putting the effort on looking this for meThough, I still feel indecisive about which version to pick, the anon in that pic seems to defend that mechanic despite claiming Plus is superiorLike, it's no brainer that Plus is the "superior" version. But it's things like these and the jump to Totori which makes me wonder if it's less enjoyable, meaning that the original version deserves some love tooBecause rather Rorona Plus, feels I'm playing Meruru 2
>>739402765I mean, I if I decide to play PlusMaybe I should start with Totori before Rorona, because Plus will make Totori feel a downgrade
>>739387129Ayesha's also got about the least pedo bait.>>739391351The scene where Keith is complaining that the canyons are a former ocean destroyed by alchemy misuse, but Ayesha finds it beautiful anyway. Surprisingly good writing for one of these games.
>>739402657I don't know.
>>739403120I started with Ayesha and it's still easily my favorite. Totori felt really punishing afterwards, lol. Finished Sophie and it was OK but way more slow and boring than Ayesha or Totori. The only problem with Ayesha is that the subsequent Dusk series games are halfassed downgrades. Shallie especially; E&L at least has some good aspects.
>>739402657>meant to type 1Now you know
cute thread for my cute wife
>>739407297Someone who loves Rorona, yay!
And here I was, thinking this was the thread. Where did they all go?
nom
>>739402765The combat in the original is also balanced a bit differently. There's no mp in combat; mp still exists for Rorona and is used for crafting but everyone uses hp to cast skills. The early game balance is also pretty rough and on the hardest difficulty when you're level 1 blue punis aren't a joke and you'll barely damage them with basic attacks. Though once you get iskel he has a heal skill that heals more than it costs so you can spam that and tank through anything that doesn't hit you too hard. The other big memorable difference is that the tera bomb is way stronger in the original and a really good one is pretty much the only bomb you need to make to kill anything in the game. I forget if Rorona Plus kept the gimmick where it hits yourself too unless you put the narrow range trait on it.
>>739408493>I forget if Rorona Plus kept the gimmick where it hits yourself too unless you put the narrow range trait on it.It does.
>>739408062Um...if ''by the thread'' you mean ''a thread to post and discuss child characters or characters that look like a child'', then no, it's just an Atelier thread, someone even put ''Atelier'' as a subject for this thread.
Who's your favorite couple in Atelier?
>>739408843Harry and Gerard......I'm kidding of course.
>>739408843
my icy heart melted when roro greeted me at the title screen
>>739408843It's mostly yuri undertones but, probably Firis and Ilmeria.
>>739408653>absolute schizobabbleYeah, that about answers my question.
>>739409674I mean, when someone says ''the thread'' that often means characters like Roll or something, so yeah, of course I'd answer with ''schizobabble'' if one wants to be specific.
>>739409269Multiple Atelier games have multiple characters saying the name of the game in the title screen.
>>739410746i'm not talking about the 'name of the game'i'm talking about the warmhearted greeting that changes depending on the contexthers in particular are very sweet
>>739411216Huh, okay.
>>739411286okay
>>739411298Okay, again.
>>739412030okay
When did Sterk realize he fucked up by chasing Rorona instead of settling for the bronze medal?
>>739412360I wonder.
>>739412426Okay.
>>739412494Cute art.
>>739412684Are you sure?
>>739412768Definitely, just look at Meruru's smile in particular.
>>739412806Okay.
280 posts later, is this thread going to survive the night? If it doesn't survive the night, at least it was a thread that got hundreds of posts and lasted more than 24 hours...but it's true that it has been mostly me posting Rorona art. I can't wait.Come on people, this thread needs more activity! Answer the question of the OP!
>>739413218i appreciate the rorona thread bro but try being less gay in the future
>>739413347I didn't make this thread and I don't understand your request, what do you mean less gay? Rorona is a busty character, or would you rather see more Sterk and Keithgriff in the thread?
>>739413631Out of left field...you didn't have to make such an inflammatory. And again, I don't understand that request, but not like it matters.
