Xrd is a dumbed down version of XX's legacy because they wanted the game to attract new players without doing too much to change what veterans liked about XX, retaining certain eccentricities that ultimately ended up pushing new people out anyway, and ultimately didn't achieve its goal because they considered it enough of a flop to make Strive next with the goal of only attracting new people and disregarding veterans. For what its worth, Strive does understand the functionality of characters to an extent and attempts to translate those functions to the new system without "homework" or execution requirements. Strive is pretty boring as a result since learning to play most character takes minutes though, it has the problem that SFV had for a long time where the match dynamics have been so reduced that they best they can do to balance characters is change the speed of which a character can utilize them.
Xrd has Rollback, Xrd manage to come out winning in its own way, same for Blazblue, Persona4Areana, too. Even UNI got Rollback. Why is this guy still going insane about Strive after receiving a Good Ending?

Her tits were considered massive back then and now she's been booby crept out where she looks absolutely modest by modern standards. People want busier designs even outside of fighting games too so you have her redshift design that by all means is how she's supposed to look in the year that Melty Blood takes place but it isn't since the t-shirt has become iconic. Her school girl forms are a lot busier despite being plain clothes too. A lot of her context changes depending on whether you're looking at her in the 2000s, the 2010s or the 2020s and she's been relevant in every era.
I know it's better for players but it's kind of unwatchable live with this many streams at once.
