Dread was surprisingly competent for a series under that ampunt of pressure and expectations. It wasnt perfect given the current wide arrange of choices avaliable in its genre, but it stood out in its own ways:>Pitch perfect handling. Agility is balanced with a great feel of weight.>Doesnt overstay its welcome. Good pacing.>Plot builds upon previous entries without shitting the bed.>Both quiet robe and specially raven beak are now beloved parts of the franchise. Raven beak is particularly good.>A few new fun upgrades like flash shift and swarm missiles.It's just a pleasure to pick up and play. I picked it up recently again because i didnt know what to play and suddenly hours had passed. Good fucking game.

>>739366757Nah. The sylux boss fights are better than any of the bosses in Dread except maybe raven beak and even then it's held back by being a side scrolling metroidvania. First person is more immersive
