Literally every single person talking about this game on the internet is either trying to turn it into gamergate 2 or responding to the people trying to turn it into gamergate 2. I have not seen a single youtuber or streamer talk about it that hasn't fallen into either of these two categories. If this is supposed to be the absolute most shilled game in the entire history of the medium then how come i'm not seeing ads for it or streamers playing it?

as fap material it is completely not to my taste, even though the nuns are hot. however, one of my favorite parts about sinisistar is the immersion. the levels are spooky as fuck, the controls are completely barebones, and everything is shit my pants scary. you don't have much character control or power and you feel completely lonely and helpless in a terrifying place it really drives in that feeling that you're just a regular godforsaken nun in this monstrosity infested place with all sorts of bad ends waiting for you

and that's coming from someone who is really no good with horror games. it was fucking terrifying, but that's a good thing, and i appreciate it a lot and enjoy it for how well it's done. when you're completely immersed and thinking about how fragile your character is and you just KNOW that some fucked up shit is gonna happen if you die? combine that with the well designed levels that invoke terror, the creepy music, and the disgusting enemy designs and graphic bad ends and it's no wonder it's a hit even internationally. it is genuinely a stellar gameplay experience, which could only have been achieved so well by being not just a game, but an h-game. i die to a zombie in resident evil? oh no there's a bit of gore, big deal. i die to a tentacle head man in sinisistar 1? all sorts of unholy shit happens and my character is not only completely defiled but dead in completely gruesome ways. i had nightmares for a while after i played it.
