Would adding The Fire Emblem™ to Smash and merging almost all the other characters into her moveset fix the FE over representation issue?

Nah, they'd still be upset.

id choose femme alear!

It would, but it'd cut down on gameplay diversity. Marth, Roy, Byleth, and Robin should stay, but Corrin, Ike, and the echo fighters can get lost.

Roy is just another Marth clone, they should get rid of him
>Ike gone
They are never removing the most popular character of all the franchise

>Roy is just another Marth clone
Not since Smash 4 onward. Roy's speed, air accel, faster frame data, and hilt tipper make him play more like a rushdown brawler instead of a slow, footsies zoner like Marth. He's one of the sickest characters in Ultimate.

>merging almost all the other characters into her moveset
I'm a massive Engagefag who is pulling nearly every cope straw possible to see Alear in Smash, but this ain't one of them. Realistically, this is what we'd probably get, though I might be biased:
>moveset based around Libération for sword swipes and kick-based tilts/aerials here and there
>B: Bond Blast - Chargeable projectile burst with short range, a la Lucario Side B.
>Side B: Dragon's Fist - Rekka-style karate chain that has four paths, changes depending on direction when rekka-ing.
>Up B: Divine Whirl - Vertical spinning attack not unlike Link's Up B
>Down B: Emblem Engage - Alear gets into a stance to pray to Emblem Marth in her ring, absorbing hits to charge her Engage meter. Joker's Down B.
>Gimmick: Emblem Marth - Alear has an Engage meter that fills up over the course of the game, over time, and when hit under Emblem Engage. If you hit Down B when it's filled, she Engages with Marth, and her moveset becomes that of Marth for a limited time. Speed and jumping power is increased, she floats over the ground, and is lightweight as a result. Strength is increased by 1.25x that of Marth's kit, while retaining all tipper attributes.
>Final Smash: Lodestar Rush - Alear Engages with Marth and strikes the opponent, hitting them with nine precision strikes in a cinematic animation. Automatically fills your Engage meter and leaves you Engaged, even if it whiffs the cinematic trigger hit.
>Colors:

>>5 - Female Ivy/Hortensia-Colored Alear

>Extras: All taunts involve Sommie in some form appearing to cheer Alear on, as does one victory pose.
>Stage: Somniel - We have Skyloft at home, sweetie. Features cameos from several Engage characters.
