In Rune Factory 3 Special does anyone recommend having a small plot of land in the different seasonal areas just for better seeds? In RF4 there were no monsters in the seasonal plots and they seemed easier to get to so I did it then, but in RF3 I've avoided it so far. I currently have one of each spring crop in a part of my main farm solely for better seeds (I'll change the crops when the next season comes). It seems like too much of a pain in the ass to do any more than that. In Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life Special Edition does sleeping always take 6 hours? To optimally raise animal affection am I correct in thinking that snuggling, checking their status and brushing both in the morning and at night enough? Is it worth it to get a rooster for fertilized eggs because apparently getting rid of extra roosters makes all of the chickens sad? On the same note is it worth it to get a bull? Is the time limit for getting a wife very strict (Is it enough to give Lumina a flower everyday)? How late does the scientist guy sleep in for and where the hell do the pyrotechnics brothers go because I've only found one of them once? Does watering crops at night in addition to the morning help them more?
I liked that in 3 onwards they steadily started making it more so that you could make your favorite girl an invincible death machine that is way stronger than you could ever be, due to getting more multipliers.The games don't ever need it even on Hell, but I enjoy the option.

Shortly after, the physical copies of the base game and its LE went into bargain bins across Japanese retailers. I'd say Lord of Magna had a bunch of ill circumstances behind it. It looks just about how you would expect a 3DS game in the early 2010s. It also used partially animated portrait sprites; which makes me think it was initially going to be experimentation for a 3DS RF5's portraits.Meanwhile, Elrentaros and Progress Orders unironically look worse than RF4 as top-down 3D games. There isn't even a fully explorable town and it feels like a lot of sprites in both Elrentaros and Progress Orders in-town are just static jpegs. And the characters in both those games are a lot worse than the ones we got in RF5. Rearsekai had an extensive PR / advertising campaign in Japan but the international release left it to fucking die on the spot. As far as I know, Progress Orders didn't have anything as robust as Rearsekai's PR. It makes me wonder if RF6 would be even handed to Hakama after what happened to 5 and how its past two titles have turned out.

The DS, 3DS, and the Wii mainlines didn't have that much voice acting to begin with either so I dont think that led Neverland to bankruptcy. Also, I think it's a matter of presentation and what sets RF apart from Bokumono. Having our protags with defined names, designs, and genders is the one thing keeping us at bay from RF giving out empty slate protags with pronoun selectors, Body Type A or B, and a roster that treats any denomination of protagonist the same. I see faggots wanting character customization in RF but I like that for the most part; RF protags are their own character.
