How do you DI in this game?
>>
Ive been playing this game for the past 5 days and every single person I play against just 4 stocks me over and over and over again. Getting an opening feels impossible and not getting hit and zero to death'd also feels impossible
>>
first you need to take a shower

the melee thread is down the hall to the left

>Guy picks Falcon
>He gets one grab/upsmash and I'm dead
>>
>>739449765
I just played a falcon. After he 4 stocked me he could tell I was new so he picked crash and 4 stocked me more anyways

>How do you DI in this game?
You can't. You only can do SDI
>>
how do i get good at this game
>>
>>739450121
Most of what I've been facing in 64/Remix are obvious oldheads that have been grinding 64 for decades, I don't pick Remix characters against them though, rather keep it "vanilla".
>>739451658
>practice combos and z-cancel
>practice tech chasing
>learn how SDI works so you don't get destroyed that easily by multihit aerials
>mix up your recovery since most characters have awful recoveries
>>
>>739448064

I think that's more of Melee thing is it not?
>>
>>739453535
Sorta, 64 has SDI.

>>
>>739456878
idk, i meant remix
>>
>>739456878
not anymore, probably because 64 has gotten super campy since one hit means death usually.
>>

>>
>>739457120
sure, gimme a moment to get wired
>>
>>739457286

>>
>>739457721

>>
Are snoys now pretending Smash 64 was good now that they got tired of glossing Melee in attempt to undermine Ultimate?
>>
>>739458368

I can't believe the standard Slippi experience is now possible in 64
>>
>>739458368
Brawl is the best Smash game cause it makes the Snoypedos and the compedos seethe with rage

No PC port yet? bummer
>>
>>739448064
You can only do SDI.
>>739448393
Most players are oldfags who have been playing for 20+ years. It's not like Melee where you have kids playing mid-tiers everywhere. Just keep playing and ask for advice.
>>
is sonic bad? i feel like i cant anti-air anyone but they can all anti-air me. when im in control in neutral it feels like i cant stop people from trying to jump in certain spots but they can stop me from jumping/landing anywhere and getting a neutral opening feels hard. am i just retarded?
>>
>>739471664
sonic is one of the best remix characters
>>
>>739471807
is it because of punish game? neutral itself feels painful to play
