Introducing my younger sister to the world of Monster Hunter via... World. It's not my favorite game in the series, in fact I've told I don't like it much, however I do like spending time with her since we live in different states now and World is easy enough to digest for beginners while being a fuck ton better than Wilds will ever be and has a lot less going on at once compared to Rise which we'll get to eventually. Hell she already skips story text in World so I can't imagine her being able to stomach Wilds' story and walk and talk moments.

I'm playing Crimson Desert, but I'm thinking of dropping it.I really, really love Axe on Oongka and Greatsword on Damiane. They're both insanely peak fun, but Damiane and Oongka have absolutely awful movement abilities compared to Kliff so they feel like shit to explore the world with. I'll probably do another playthrough of Dragon's Dogma 1 and then 2 before playing POE 2 again when the new patch comes out.

Just turned 30 today. After being on this site for 14 years it's surreal finally posting in one of these threadsLately I've been feeling like longer games are such a slug to play through. I specially can't stomach open-world games with shameless padding. I like games I can beat in a day, a week, and at max, a month. My current favorites are Slay the Spire 2 and Silent Hill 1; just got every ending and man what a game, cant wait to start with SH 2. My wife gifted me RE9 so I'll jump on that later tonight. I played Silksong for like a week straight and got to Act 3, then I stopped. Very mixed feelings. I like the visuals and the music and at least the aesthetics of the the level design, but overall I just feel brutalized by it and will probably never play it again. It's not fun to play.
