How do Sony and Microsoft get away with charging over $200 for their "pro" controllers when you can buy this thing that has equal or more features but also won't get stick drift for less than $100?
>>
>>739472486
buy a fucking ad
>>
>>739472486
Because goyslaves are retarded & won't put the minimum amount of effort into researching controllers.
This happens all the time at retail stores nowadays. Creatine for instance is dirt cheap online, but extremely overpriced in stores. Why do they sell it anyway, who would fall for such a thing? Because some retard will remember having read online that creatine is good for you, see it in the store one day, & think "oh yeah I should get this it's supposed to be good for you." without considering it can be bought elsewhere for cheaper.

I have the Pro 2 and it's more comfortable than a PS5 controller.
>>

I'm just trying to save people some money you nigger. Gamesir's fine too. My point is that 1st party controllers, including modded 1st party controllers, are a fucking ripoff when the Chinese are making the same exact products, or better, for way less money.
>>
>>739472486
my 2 pro's stick got chipped(huge piece of the rubber overlay fell off) after a year. it's pretty damn good otherwise.

Why would I ever buy one of your shit controllers, that conveniently starts to fault just after the warranty period expires, over the new steam controller for example?

Back in the day, most of these off-brand chink controllers were genuinely terrible quality and a lot of people got burnt trying to save a few bucks, which instills a mindset that you can only "trust" official brand or "licensed" controllers, helped by the fact that back then the brand/licensed controllers weren't that much more expensive. But now that chink controllers are much more competitive and Sony/Nintendo/Microsoft's own quality control is slipping combined with their prices ballooning, there's not much reason to buy a brand-name controller unless you just have brand loyalty or care about aesthetic consistency.
>>
8bitdo makes good pc peripherals. but their controllers are plagued with defects in the triggers as they’re made with a small elastic that tend to break over a plastic hinge. i will literally never buy one. but their arcade stick and keyboard is good. their mouse also apparently had a defect in the scroll wheel they fixed with a firmware update so ce la vie

Because nobody but fucking retards or e-sport tryhards buy them. Everyone else just gets the normal versions instead

I have both and I like em both pretty evenly. What pisses me off tho is that I need to swap to Switch mode for gyro and that just ends in disaster for some games on steam. Namely RE4

i like this thing but i dropped it one time and the plastic on the r2 button crumbled into dust. i sent it back in for a replacement and then i dropped it again and it broke in the same exact spot. i couldn't be bothered to return it so i just super glued it.

The "normal versions" are ridiculously expensive now too. A set of Switch Joycons costs ~$100, and a DualSense costs ~$70-80. Remember when you could get an official Nintendo Gamecube controller for ~$20, or a WaveBird for ~$50?
>>
the dual sense edge and xbox elite controller offer players a chance for premium, real time gaming
>>
After actually holding the new steam controller I'm glad getting this instead LOL

I've bought 8bitdo gamepads, and they're "okay" but they lack the First-Party feel.
>>
>>739475504
The fuck does that even mean

>>739475635
my issue is they didn't keep the SNES divot d-pad design.
>>
>>739472486
If not 8bitdo what third party controller is better? And poorfag friendly?
>pc
>linux compatible if I switch
>wired
Granted I’m not sure if wireless is better than wired.
>>
>>739472486
Might pick up the cheapest wired option after my wired Logitech controller starts having problems.
>>
>>739475635
They don't feel right to play with. Too stiff membranes: dpads too stiff, buttons too mushy.

I actually own that already. I already mentioned it in another post here.
I plan to switch to a new controller when it starts showing problems.
How long do I have to use and wait for the controller to start having problems?

But I appreciate the suggestion nonetheless. Thank you anon.

Hori make the best controllers.
And there are about 500 other brands that are all better than 8bitno.

The Gulikit Elves 2 has been out for quite some time now. How's it been treating those of you who bought it?
>>
>>739472486
You've been shilling these for years now. Back when retrobit put out their saturn gamepads. Everytime someone talks about gamesaar. Now with the steam controller. Recently I'm watching a SC review on youtube just for the fun of it and there's a fucking 8bitdo ad in the middle. You suck. You're absolutely desperate. You fucking suck monkey dick. The Pro 2 is a dogshit controller. I bought that thing and it has like 6 seconds of input lag on android, gyro is unusable and the d-pad misses diagonals. You try to be the Keychron of gamepads but you can't even get there.
>>
>>739472486
I have this controller. It's not bad, but there are a few issues.
- Face buttons are extremely loud (noticeable even with headphones)
- DirectInput support sucks (doesn't support rumble, analog triggers, or the wireless dongle)
- Non-replaceable battlery

Don't bother. Let the goycattle do whatever it wants to do, besides they'll cry about you being a shill, like >>739472802 did
Better keep all the third party controllers as a niche thing, so they could stay being cheap.
>>
Because when I got a sn30 plus it STILL got stick drift and the face buttons got stuck due to cheap rubber contacts, so I replaced it with wired pro 2 and then the stick STILL DRIFTED, and the wire contacts at the controler's board got unconfortably hot for some reason
you are a fucking liar and these controllers are cheap, you get what you pay for. just accept it and buy a shitty meme controller like a victrix or something

I tried to get a cheap but highly recommended controller (I think it was reddragon) and learned this the hard way. The trigger was plastic-based which broke pretty quickly, first-party controllers use metal springs. Unless someone is taking these apart to review them they're talking shit.
