Like, chances are that if you require any adjustment period at all, you would've been better off just getting better at your usual set up.The reason leverless gets memed as the god controller so much is that it legitimately was in the past. In older fighting games there were a lot of maneuvers that were far easier or were measurably better on leverless like being able to input dashes faster than physically possible on stick or pad. In some games, since they didn't account for leverless, you could do impossible inputs like blocking in both directions at once.But modern fighting games all basically acknowledge leverless and even the playing field with macros that circumvent the advantage. Your controller choice is just preference now.

The ring finger is the second shittiest finger on your hand, and getting consistent performance out of it for leftward facing motions leads me to a lot of bungled inputs. With the way SOCD works it's also really easy to miss down inputs on half circles/360s which leads to dropped specials.This could just be my retarded hands, but I have been playing on leverless since USF4 so I feel like this are legit issues.
