The thing you need is compelling exclusives, which nintendo is continuing to use that strategy.

There also hasn't been a major hit in a while. Genshin was 2020 and its been on the decline. Fortnite has been declining for a while. Destiny isn't as big as it was. COD has gone through a really rough patch. There aren't any of those games that would keep someone in the Playstation eco system other than more Ball games that will be on PS5 anyway. The only edge they may have is a hybrid console. Japan loves hybrids so they may get a little bit of sales growth from just being more appealing to the Japanese (would also have to make Nintendo get off their asses since Sony would be on their home turf again and will be more Competitive in Nintendo's best market).
