What do you think about photorealistic FPS?
There's Stalker fans and """"Stalker"""" fans
gimmicks always come at the price of gameplayand that's not to say they can't be cool gimmick, they may be really neat and fun and impressive, but ultimately it's a gimmick, and the more into the gimmick it is, the more gameplay suffers

>>739507241i don't really care about good graphics anymore, they are not hard to make and every other artist has 10000000 pictures in there portfolio that shows off how great they can make environments and humanoids/creatures so it doesn't mean much to mestyle and atmosphere are king, same with sound design, it really boggles my mind that these triple AAA companies can barely audio balance their games when it's clearly easy to do
