>>739512861It's a late game area with bunch of puzzles in it. The area is accessible from the get-go but you can't enter it until you find four hidden masks spread throughout the game's locations. Personally I enjoyed it, and I like when RPGs give you puzzles to solve so you can have a break from the monotonous hack and slash bits.

Their games are just structured like this, you have parts packed with gameplay, dungeons and all that, which are followed by story-driven sections and extra gameplay elements like building cities or planets. The last act or two always feel so exhausting because the game is coming to an end with high-stakes moments happening one after another and leaving no room for a breather.It’s neither good nor bad, it’s just the way they make games, and I really hope they don’t change.

Nenio's fungeon is actually tedious, puzzles need to be solved via trial and error and failing them spawns in a fight and there are a gazillion puzzles and corridors everywhere, all the trash fights are obnoxious too. Only saving grace is a decent boss battle
