Dark Souls 1 came out in 2011, then 2 in 2014 then 3 in 2016. What the fuck happened to video games that it now takes TEN fucking years to get a game out.

DaS is a huge downgrade from DeS

>game world is a convoluted mess with necessary NPCs scattered into the far corners of the world (the interconnected world starts to become more contrived as the game goes on), again requiring a ton of backtracking

Dark Souls is better than Demon's Souls in all ways except one: the level-up lady is hotter in DeS.
Just the fact that DaS has a fully connected open world instead of separate retarded bingbing wahoo Mario levels makes it 100 times better.
The fact that it has poise, meaning heavy armor is actually useful for once, makes its gameplay massively richer.

Its quite linear in its approach and really empty. I get that its empty for a reason but its still not really a fun level to fo through. It has its moments, like with the archers, but they dont last long. Just a bit underwhelming. Even though I dislike both the games I think DS3 Irythll and ER Leyndell are better anor londos than anor londo.
