You tried to show your friend the Resident Evil 4 Remake because he had only played the original. You've already beat the game on normal, you're on the opening village section of the second loop. Your severe ADHD makes you have trouble focusing on a game when someone is watching you play, so you don't end up playing your best and get bitten a couple times (but never die). Your friend is outwardly judging you for how bad you are over just a couple mistakes. Then later you bring it up to him, trying to make light of the whole situation. He says stuff like "oh yeah you were making that part look way harder than it should have been". This throws you in a spiral of self doubt. You now have zero confidence in your gaming skills, after being called out for sucking at a game you loved. It makes you not want to play games anymore in general, as you stare at your massive steam library and all of your wasted money. You want to die basically because you sucked at a game one time.

I disagree. What I described seems to be a very common symptom of ADHD. I even looked it up to double check. Keep in mind that there are many different variations of ADHD. It's not a one size fits all diagnosis
