>>739611963>Grove Street>it's also in GTA V, but they made it look differentI get it, different universe or something. Still, it would've been nice to have some small nostalgia slop.

>>739612590why would there be a roundabout at the end of a neighborhood?
>>739613369>"Derived from French, it literally translates to "bottom of the sack" or "bag bottom".>"In The United States, a cul-de-sac is often not an exact synonym for "dead end,” as it refers explicitly to a dead-end street with a circular end, making it easier for vehicles to turn around."

>>739613581We got 'em in Australia too.But also- >>739613575We've technically got these too, but generally with a small park/greenery area - the more expensive blocks of a development are generally situated around one. We've also got these godawful Y/forked dead ends.
>>739612676de sac these nuts
>>739613581>Derived from french, it literally translates to bottom of the sackThat's not bottom of the sack, that's a road idiot. And its not like "having an area to turn around at the end of the street" is a French thing either, maybe Americans came up with it independently? Ever thought of that retard?

>>739618325They already have front lawns and back yards; it's weird how West Coast ghettos look like East Coast suburbs.
>>739617384>come from family of country mice>whenever the older ones go into the city they will without fail remark repeatedly about how many blacks they sawit wasn't so bad 20 years ago
>>739618325City would have to maintain it and that ain't happening. Even the fanciest of suburbs have these paved bulbs at the end of streets like this (and honestly have more of them. Cul-de-sacs are rare in urban areas). The Grove Street one in-game is actually really big. IRL, they are usually just barely big enough for something like a van to make a complete turn without needing to reverse, especially if anyone is parked on the street within the bulb, which is common.
