Your thoughts? I think combat was a little bit chaotic, but story and characters was very good.

Combat mechanics were equally too complicated and too simple. Gear system was dumb tedium.Level design and dungeons were painfully AA.Story, if you just take the bare plot itself, wasn't anything special and the idea of playing a group of scroundels and criminals was underused.But damn, where the characters, the dialog and their interactions great fun. It's worth playing for these alone. Especially Eizen, Magilou and Velvet were my favorites.Good music, too.

>>739612763It was fun. I like the combat in Graces and this was very close to that. Sometimes it felt like mostly mashing buttons not caring which move actually came out, but there were good reasons to pick specific attacks for the situation.

It's a story about choosing your own fate instead of letting other people lead you by the nose. Granblue Relink is a generic animu storyline. I can provide specific things I like about Berseria's story, and a concrete thing that looks like bad writing (it's literally just shit happening, no plot or reason). Do you have something you're holding up as amazing writing?
Tales made by Bamco Studios are garbage and the Zestiria/Berseria duology are bottom of the barrel shit games.
