Soon we'll be able to play with the real Elizabeth.
>>
>>739614670
Aint nothing gonna save this jewslop game
>>
>>739614863
It is unironically one of my fav games ever. Its such a fun game with a great story, art and gameplay I have played it like 10 times and on multiple platforms.
Like my 3rd highest played steam game I think.
>>
its not that interesting. unreal engine 3 has tons of garbage builds for games.
>>
since they already have a November 2012 build made for age rating purposes I imagine in terms of content this is near-identical to the final version, though there might be more unused files in it
>>
infinite was terrible but kikes like sessler shilled the fuck out of it
>>
1 is the only best Bioshock and not the remaster just the original.
>>
>>739615172
Anon, at some point of time you have to recognize it was supposed to brainwash you
>>

>>
>>739614670
would have liked the game much more if you could side with Columbia and keep the brown people from ruining heaven.
HEY ITS JUST LIKE REAL LIFE!!
>>
lurking for datamining interest, there may be something there. hopefully.
fingers crossed given lost media enjoyers seem to put more effort into children's media no one cares about.
>>
>>739615172
You can enjoy it but don't lie about it. The art is nice, I'll give it that.
>>
>>739615172
what the fuck
>>
>>739615634
>don't lie about it.
What am I lying about.
I love the game.
Sure it has issues, mainly that it is limited by the hardware and that the difficulty is nit aligned right but the game is brilliant.
Story is great, multiverse crap was a bit extra bit the time paradox is good and makes the story have weight.
Art style is top tier. So is the art direction.
Weapons are so fun to use, especially in combination with the vigors.
Its a brilliant game.

My only gripe is that 1999, while an OK difficulty you need to specialize in weapons as you are shirt on cash, where hard difficulty is too easy.
I could make a meta save as there are exploits but i cant be fucked just to break the game.
Clash in the clouds is where the fun combat is anyway.
Other issue is that the gear is RNG, you can save scum it sure but its annoying.
What the game could have done with, which they should have done with if the cared about the "remaster" was add NG+ where you can use cash and get the vigors early when you first pick up possession.
Again 1999 mode you can't just run and gun it like other difficulties because you need to scavenge, yet the difficulty of the combat is fine.
Well I say that but lady comstock is a massive issue in 1999, so much you can actually get hard stuck and soft lock yourself.
Because you "need" the sniper to take the goons out properly and fast and if you didnt spec in it you are fucked, and if you die too much you cant continue (as it costs money)
There is a way to just insta wipe her though which I do most of the times to save the hassle.

>>739615568
>it was supposed to brainwash you
Ironic dont you think.
>>739615721
>game is bad because /v/ said so,, so I have to believe it is bad
Its a fun fucking game.
>>
I hope this reveals some juicy cut content.
>>
nevermind, some of the fmv files are early but thats it. fuck
>>
>>739615620
>>739616053
It will be nothing, its a 6 months before release build, so a build in bug testing phase
The concept they cut from teh E3 demo would have been long gone.
Might help modders do some things but i doubt the game has a big modding scene anyway. If at all. Other than liz porn of course.
>>
This game is over-hated because the subtext is as much about keeping women preoccupied with hobbies and religion so they don't destroy the world.

But what makes it irredeemable is how you start with a certain level of freedom but after the Hall of Heroes, the game locks you into an almost on-rails house of horrors through Levine's interpretation of American history.

It's not fun to listen to but even more importantly, it's not fun to play.

T2 should force him to finish Judas and remake Infinite with a bigger team and someone holding his reigns.

>>739616745
It is annoying that the game didnt live up to the gameplay trailer concept, its why i mentioned it was limited by the hardware.
There was no way they could have done an actual open environment of that size so it ended up being rather limited cells, and even when there are open environments they are separated by corridors, hidden loading screens.
Not saying the game needs a remake or something to reach its potential but its just clear they (levine) had an idea what he wanted to make but when it got down to the technical, it could not be done.
Also keep in mind levine is a fucking hack.

>>739617323
Its my 2nd most played steam game. Thought it was my 3rd.
Most of that is in CitC though.
i have played it 3 times on PC I think.
First I pirated it. loved the game so much I bought 2 copies of it (on sale) and gifted one away.
then played it on 360, PS3 and now many times on PS4, though I have not played CitC much on PS4 ~(5)
idk why.
Its fun, I should play it.
I always have it installed too because its a game I can run through in a day and always have fun playing it.
Though I have to say I don't like burial at sea 2, despite im sims being my fav genre and I like stealth games, I just thinks its really weak.
BaS 1 is great but short.
Funny too because I have only bladed BS1 twice and BS2 once. I liked minervas den but didnt think that much of BS1 or 2.
Not a fan of the camera bullshit, and I suppose I dont like grim dark shit so that might be part of it.
BS2 is also for most part a defence mission, hoard mode, Gets annoying.

Normally I'd agree because people mistakenly believe that the game we didn't get would have been better then the one we did but in Infinite's case the game was absolutely rewritten multiple times during development and we almost certainly got the worst possible version of it.

Even if you ignore the political stuff, it's a bad story that doesn't make sense. It only gets worse when you play Burial at Sea, where (for some reason) Elizabeth doesn't have her powers anymore. It's a shame because the art direction of Infinite overall is great. The narrative and gameplay hold it back.
>>
>>739616052
Cool that you can still enjoy a game for what it is, a game. Never change anon

Heaven only comes from melenated hands, not White tapeworms. This is why every land was better before Cuckasians from the Cuckusus mountains showed up to drag their asses across other people's living room carpets like a worm filled bitch. From Rome to Turtle Island, to Alkebulan, to India to South east asia, to Polynesia and so on.
You don't side with anyone though, they went the "same sides" pro Isreali("If we don't steal your resources and enslave you then someone else will") false equivalency route and actually made the final fight against the brown people, of which this fake heaven was built on and leeching off of. White trash like you should appreciate that the final fight was against brown people. You palefaces who wrecked the actual heaven that was here before your tapeworm asses landed on these shores. You destroy every place you land because you don't respect any land you didn't come from(I.E. the majority of the planet) and your native land is a fuckin' snowcave where nothing grows and where you relied more on robbing passing travelers crossing through your barren wasteland of a home that nobody actually wanted to conquer as their own lands already had resources and ariable land. Your wasteland was merely a bridge used by some people to cross to more desireable locales, and you snow hominids are simply bridge trolls of which the stories were ispired from.

Pre downgraded versions of games should be preserved. Made to suit the standards set by them would be better than remasters.

Is this the pre-feminism version?
>>
>>739624716
The original concept for Bioshock Infinite is in all likelihood the concept for Judas - woman causes destruction of society (spaceship). I'm guessing the original twist was that Elizabeth was Lady Comstock or it was a more core part of the story.

So, there was never a pre-feminism version. Levine got mindraped as much as Druckmann did except he's always been more talented than Neil.

>>
>>739627919
End boss is just a horde mode arena. The gunplay is top tier in that game though i suppose it can get a but frantic as you are technically on a timer.
Means nothing to you but there is a piece of gear called winter shield that makes you invincible for like 10 secs after jumping on and off a skyline and that shit is OP. You just become god mode. Pair it with gear that sets fire or electrocutes those around you when you land and the game plays itself. Super fun as you can run around grabbing guns and just running and gunning as the game intends.
Thing is gear is RNG and you might not have it even if you picked up every piece of gear in the game.
I often just save scum at the first gear until I get it.

We discussed the game on one of the forums for several years, created some content and mods, and I played through it about seven times to take screenshots of every angle or discuss any part of the plot.
It eventually reached a point of madness: some people stalked Elizabeth's face model, and a few years later someone tried to commit a school shooting and was arrested.

Bioshock 2 is good. Bioshock 1 is upper mid and fun when you don't know there's better options for whatever you like about it.

None of the things fun about either game are present in Infinite: Combat options, exploration, worldbuilding, not getting stopped for cutscenes and walking sims constantly, and good writing. Also BaS reads like a shitty fanfic and killed the series.

Because Infinite was written so poorly the protagonists looked like retards.
>Liz can literally teleport anywhere, anytime.
>But you have to get her out of the city using a blimp.
>She won't teleport out cause she says she was always drawn back for some reason.
>But the blimp to Paris idea she's on board for.
>And she wants you to kill her if it looks like someone's gonna drag her back to that tower.
Shit like this is all throughout the game, in the earliest teasers which I followed like crazy, that multiverse shit wasn't in the game at all, Liz was just some kind of psychic with telekinetic powers, then they retooled it to be some multiverse shit midway through but didn't notice the plot made no goddamn sense anymore.

Well yeah, Rapture was mainly for Andrew Ryan first, the scientists and artists a close second and lastly the rest, but everyone was welcome to become a test subject or a canvas, aside from that there was supposedly no difference nor clssses amongst people.

Columbia wasn't shy about it, they made it their philosophy and there was a clear divide between races, iirc they wanted an all white utopia but they couldn't sustain their lives without a working class so they had to make a compromise.

>that multiverse shit wasn't in the game at all

It's what the game was always about, hence the title, originally it was even more focal to the setting because the civil war going on was supposed to between the real Columbia and an alternate universe communist one. You can even see hints of this in the 2010 "gameplay" demo with the guy whose badge swaps to a hammer & sickle.

Well yeah it was fun but it felt like an insult, they didn't even come up with new enemies for it, they just made you fight the same Motorized Patriots you've been fighting since the beginning, and allowed you to "control" the songbird as a compensation prize, which was a single attack and a very lame one, then it just ends, I don't consider it a bad game but it has many anticlimactic parts.
>>
From LEddit:

-Elizabeth had a “Shadow Liz” power-resource concept. One tutorial string says Elizabeth could absorb a Shadow Liz when depleted. She couldnt always use this, it you had to stock up her power like ammo.

-Liz had a hidden trust engine that penalizes you for engaging in "bad" actions (like drinking alcohol and looting trash cans). Doing this delayed her switching from calling you formally "Mr. DeWitt" to "Booker." The game kept count of theese things and would change Liz's behavior.

-You also had the choice to either save or kill Songbird, which is shown in the achievement IDs: "KillSongbird" and "SaveSongbird".

-Instead of just pulling in cover or allies, Elizabeth originally had a combat command where she could summon a barrage of knives and forks from tears to throw at enemies. (Confirmed via the Tear_Cutlery and LizAttack_Cutlery combat scripts).

-im not joking, you could tell Liz to steal from npcs, the prototype featured a cut mechanic called "Grifting," where you could instruct Elizabeth to steal from Columbia's citizens. It was a, and the game would literally show you a UI prompt displaying her chance of success: "Ask Liz to Grift (%d%% CHANCE)". If the conditions were bad, the HUD would display "Grift Too Difficult". there are even movies that were planned: "CompiledLizMovie.bik" and "LockpickMovie.bik". They have no audio stream, so no dialogue transcript, likely visual/tutorial assets.

-The game’s DPV (Designer Player Variable) engine specifically tracked how much brutality Booker committed directly in front of her. The variable KilledNearLizCount_LizDPV monitored enemies Booker killed in close proximity to Elizabeth, which dynamically adjusted her shock and trauma reactions as she witnessed his violence up close. (this gotta be another way how she trated booker, I couldn't find more about that, but the system was planned, this wasnt just so that she reacts to it happening, the game counted it in the beginning

-All signs point to the game originally having faction systems, neutral NPCs, and actual consequences for player actions. Multiple unused lines reference allies becoming hostile if hurt: "A former ally has been angered because you hurt him!" and "Don't damage your allies!" The files also contain stealth and aggression-related dialogue like "Your firing weapons near people has scared them, and alerted your enemies!", "Consider not shooting first. Not every situation needs to be a fight!", and "Stealing may have consequences..." which strongly suggests NPCs originally reacted dynamically to violence and player behavior instead of instantly becoming enemies. There are even references to non-aggressive enemies carrying valuable loot: "Some non-aggressive enemies carry valuable pieces of gear... To get the equipment, however, these dangerous Citizens have to be killed." This sounds extremeely similar to the original BioShock’s Big Daddy system but idk if its planned to be exactly like that.

-The attached image is from the DLC. Sad to see how much got cut.

Probably, though I think part of that would just be because it being unfinished lets your imagination fill in a lot of the blanks. It feels like for most of development, they had a general idea of "factions are warring while Booker and Liz are also there being chased by Songbird" and weren't sure what to do with it. Like they came up with a cool setting and some lore but the actual plot was just a bunch of vague ideas with no definition until they crunched to get the final 2013 version done. There's so many lines and details from the E3 builds that hint at concepts and plot threads that don't exist anywhere in the final game. I kind of wish they'd just gone with a more straightforward story and leaned more on the gameplay and setting, but then journos wouldn't have had le epic twist to gush over.

Am I the only one who finds the cut Citadel Station deeply unsettling? It's like if you looked up into the sky at night and noticed the death star where the moon once was.
The cutscene prototype itself is really weird, it has you get sucked through (presumably) a lighthouse door into the vacuum of space.
It makes me think the lighthouse section was supposed to be way longer, maybe having multiple cut endings even.

it certainly was. They also had things like a cut mountain observatory and desert shrine to show the multiverse wasn't just limited to Rapture/Columbia copies.

I think what ends up feeling like "End of BioShock" in the final game what with Booker literally dying and stopping his existence was supposed to be originally be the high point for the story, with all the differ lighthouses meant to show how many different stories there was left to tell. at least what with Liz's "There's always a man..." line.

I always assumed the ending we got was thrown together near the end of development, with maybe the proper ending being Booker and Liz going off to explore the multiverse like the Luteces. That's how I wanted it to end anyway.

There exists an alternate reality where the various platforms are all on a time cycle and you could freely roam the map, needing to know when and where to go to access other areas, and plan escape accordingly.
Instead we got one of the most on-rails games ever created. Even more linear than the previous two despite being an open cloud city they showcased as being open concept.
I will never forgive them for destroying such a kino concept.

Not impossible, well, sort of.

BioShock modding, especially Infinite has actually gotten a lot more advanced over the past couple years, Model changes are the biggest thing discovered.

Now a model change isn't impressive, I know, but you have to understand that even something as simple as that (or changing textures) was a pipe dream until like 2-3 years ago.

So, no, you can't as of right now. But, models today, hopefully map files tomorrow. Unless someone gets access to a Bioshock infinite devkit/SDK which would make things move significantly faster.

You've just got to WAIT for someone who cares about BioShock like the people who made Oblivion Lost or Gamma care about Stalker.

>about Infinite
Q:
>"Once again this highlights the issue with calling something a game because it indicates fun, but you are really investing it with some pretty touchy and sensitive places where video games don't really tread all that frequently. Were you cognizant of that at the get-go that this was uncharted territory? Was it something that you were excited by?"

Ken Levine:
>"I think of the content like this. Oh we're going to use this kind of content or that kind of content. I think of the story we want to tell and this worldview of Comstock's evolved as we thought about it and this notion of him being a Mosaic figure leading people out of Egypt, to a better place and what he would call the Sodom below. And who were the chosen people in his views because if you look at it I'm of Jewish descent, the notion of the chosen people is incredibly racist, right? You know, like it's we're better than everybody else. So just if you flip that on its head and you put that in the context of a white sort of Protestant, atleast originally a Protestant, then your sort of back gets up, in two weeks there'll be Passover and everybody will be talking about the chosen. I think it's people - that's a pretty common sort of meme. That's why we tend to lean on existing memes like the story of Moses, like the story of Noah. Those play heavily into Comstock's frame of mind. But you just write the story you want to write."

Ken is inadvertently admitting that this concept is central to Judaism but not Christianity.
Detractors might claim here that Ken is actually enthusiastically condemning jewish racism.
But ask yourselves, why didn't he explore Protestant racism and not Jewish chosenness?
Why did he have to "Flip that on it's head"? And how does flipping that on it's head equal a genocidal protestant ethnostate? The opposite of jewish chosenness is simply 'unchosenness'.

So instead of talking about Bioshock's story and the real meaning behind it, you talk about what?
>Gameplay?
It's mediocre at best shit at worst.
>Mechanics?
Shit because they cut half of them in development.
>Side characters
None of note.
>Side quests
Almost none because they're all railroaded linear games.
>titties and ass
There's none in the game it's all drawn/animated by fans.

So yeah I see no reason why we can't talk about Ken Levine and how important judaism and liberal historical revisionism were in informing the writing behind the Bioshock franchise. Especially since, in it's complete form, is a mediocre and grotesque critique on non-jews.

Thing is, that's quite literally the only demography out there with the right equipment to decipher occult judaic references, which are selectively disseminated around by their natural enemy, the psychopath hebrew.

I remember watching Elizabeth dancing with the citizens on the pier for good few minutes like a dumb romantic loser. Think I was reading through Les Fleurs du mal too around that time, and basking in some dumb Belle Époque type aesthetic daydreaming fugue which the beginning of the game fueled nicely.

Loved the game at the time, and the Elizabeth DLC later, but in retrospect (from shit memory) I think I loved the beginning of the game and would have hated the later parts where it becomes an inane gauntlet of shit fights, if it wasn't carried hard by the Joel™ type feeling of genociding the statists and populists and everybody and they mama to protect muh daughter, but even better because she was a platonic romantic interest as well.

Maybe all some Jewish guys like Druckmann and Levine want is a cute girl to justify killing everyone for or maybe there's some analogy I'm not quite grasping, although it's probably easy to project whatever within their diaspora angle, like Ellie and Elizabeth being Israel or something. Actually why? I was late to the bioshock party, didn't play it until the remaster, but I hated it. Like actually HATED it. There's plenty of games I don't like but I see how some people might like it, bioshock I just don't understand why anyone likes it. You start off doing a wrench/lightning combo and it kind of works, but the game very quickly devolves into a mess of bullet sponge, non-hit reacting hit scanners that fuck up your display with a shitty blur effect and knock your aim around while you're trying to do anything. Later plasmids are extremely situational and even in the places where they've obviously set you up to use them they don't even appear to work right, leaving you to just play shit doom with your shit guns while shit enemies spastically dodge around and knock your aim off with their lazy cooldown based attack.
The hacking minigame grates after the first 2 times and it knocks so little money off the upgrades that you effectively never have enough money until about the mid-point of the game when you have more money than you have anything to spend it on. Running around tapping E on everything to loot trash for +2 health is just tedious bullshit.
The story progression sucks too. You pick up recordings that you either have to stand and listen to some asshole you don't care about take for 4 minutes solid - literal "this could have been an email" levels of time wasting - or you plow on and drown out the waste of time with combat noise.
The "twist" was lame too. By the time it happened I cared so little about the game I just wanted it to be over.
I never played the sequel but I did play Infinity. Infinity isn't "good" at all, it's like 4/10 in FPS standards, but it's not as hateful as bioshock 1 was.

I felt pretty much the same way about Bioshock 1 as you, except I stopped playing after 2-3 hours. what made you keep going?

Its a video game all about atmosphere, which was a big deal when it come out. It was a style over substance, where you need to immerse yourself to appreciate it. If you couldn't then the game was simply not for you. For that time it was really good, but if I would replay it now I definitely would just dismiss it as a mediocre shooter.
If you strip down the whole underwater city, big daddy, little sister, plasmid etc stuff the game itself like the gunplay is just servicable. B2 has more going on with the whole drill, rivet gun stuff, but atmosphere wise its inferior to B1. Infinity is just plain bad, irredeemable dogshit which should have been in development for 5 more years, with the original version. The thing we got is just a rushed crap ductaped together, with a retarded amount of retcons, plotholes, boring setting, and shitty gameplay as the devs wanted to release it asap.

The gunplay was genuinely improved, becoming more fluid and dynamic but that was never what the ‘shock’ series was about. There was clearly pressure from 2k to make it more like the average 2010s bro shooter to appeal to the cawdoody crowd and so other aspects suffered.

Love every BioShock game but I agree with this deeply. It's why I still prefer Fallout, the inventory management is much more in-depth and it means you aren't mindless mashing E on everything. It's so exhausting to play BioShock in long play sessions because you feel the need to constantly be picking everything up.

Probably. Autists are very prone to propaganda and confirmation bias, that's why trannies are mostly misled autists who had no-one to help them.

The gunplay may feel slightly better but axing your options to only 2 guns at the time was genuinely retarded and made it feel way worse. Not to mention vigors feeling superfluous and gimicky.

Most people who like Bioshock are also naturally fans of System shock you dumb fuck
Its not like Bioshock is an RTS and System is a puzzle game

Bioshock is series that could never decide whether or not it was a linear shooter or imsim. Bioshock infinite specifically has the bones for a much better game somewhere in there. Should have been delayed for 8th gen consoles
